Your account was never manually deleted because your email addresses didn't match so your ownership of the account couldn't be verified. http://www.helionet....ferring-server/ Therefore the Johnny account that owns that domain hasn't been deleted. Therefore there is already another user that owns that domain just like the error message says. If you would like to delete the Johnny account use this tool http://www.heliohost.../scripts/delete Once the Johnny account is deleted you will be able to park your domain on your new account. I feel I should also point out that normally the penalty for having more than one account is they are all suspended, and then you get to choose one to be unsuspended. This clarification of the rules is mainly for the benefit of anyone else who might read this post; I wouldn't want them to get the impression that having multiple accounts is ok, but rather this is a special circumstance.

I didn't even bother to try opening the domain since the creation date was so recent, but I guess that was just the modify time that he last changed it.

There were actually 54 people who requested their files. At the time that Johnny crashed he had 7597 accounts total. 54 divided by 7597 is about 0.711%. I wouldn't consider less than a single percent of the total accounts requesting a backup of their files "most [of the] users", but go on. The backup contained exactly what we offered in the news post. Once your account is deleted all of your files are permanently gone, and you cannot log into an account that doesn't exist; that's true. This is where I get confused. You said you already created your backup; just use the backup you created to restore your new stevie account to the way you had it before.

Johnny's load seems to be settling down to normal over the last few hours. Going to go ahead and mark this as solved, but let us know if you're still having issues.

That domain was added to the system approximately 6.5 hours ago. New domains can show queued for up to 24 hours. If it still shows queued after waiting an additional 17.5 hours then make sure you clear your browser cache. If it still shows queued after clearing your browser cache try viewing the domain through a free proxy. If it still shows queued after all of that let us know because you might have a problem.

Mono/ASP.NET isn't supported by cPanel so you aren't going to be able to find anything about it in your control panel. All accounts on Johnny automatically have asp.net enabled, and none of the accounts on Stevie have it. As far as how to get your code I would just recommend writing it by hand, but I have tested WebMatrix and it worked and deployed the files just fine automatically too. You just have to use FTP upload through webmatrix not whatever MS propitiatory upload is the default because this is a Linux server running mono not a Windows server. Google something like "asp.net hello world" to get a starting point to build from.

Yes. No. Some spiky and higher load than Stevie are to be expected due to java/jsp, ror, and asp.net, but it shouldn't be this bad. It's highly unlikely that Johnny will crash like that again. There have been discussions among the admins about a hardware upgrade for Johnny. There is no set date yet for the installation, but a news post will surely be made once there is. You can be assured that continuous and ongoing efforts are being made to improve the stability of Johnny.

The last suspension on your account was caused by inactivity and it was suspended on Tue Oct 9 00:17:30 PDT 2012. It was not caused by high load or usage or sql queries or anything like that. It was caused by not logging into your account at http://heliohost.org/ often enough. In fact there are literally hundreds of accounts that have caused more load than yours today and none of them are suspended either. You've used such a small amount of CPU time today that it doesn't even register as a hundredth of a percent, ie: 0.00% If your account does get suspended for inactivity the first thing to try is typing your username into this tool http://www.heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/renew to reactivate your account yourself. Very rarely this tool won't work for reasons of high load or network connections or something, in which case you have to post on the forums and we can manually unsuspend your account. The best option is to log in often enough to prevent the inactivity suspension from happening in the first place and you will have no problems.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. There was a small misconfiguration on Johnny MySQL that prevented privilege changes from being saved properly. It has been fixed. I tested your issue by installing wordpress through softaculous and it installed successfully. I also tested changing user privileges through cPanel and they worked as expected too. Let us know if you're still having any issues. -
Try logging into your account with your old password now once. If that doesn't work try resetting your password using the "reset password" button here http://johnny.heliohost.org:2082/ If neither of those options let us know and we can try resetting it manually.

The directory doesn't matter. You can even create the directory yourself or whatever before you create the addon domain, but the subdomain will cause an error if you try to create an addon domain when the subdomain that it is using already exists.

No problem. When you tried the second and third time did you first delete the subdomain or try to create the addon domain using a different subdomain?

No accounts have been suspended for inactivity since Johnny started having issues, nor since Johnny has come back online.

No, there isn't. I copy/pasted your code exactly changing the email addresses to match the account I was testing it on and it worked just fine.

Queued means that the account hasn't been created yet. Since Johnny was down for over a week it didn't create any of the queued accounts while it was down. You will get another email once your account has been created, and you can also check on the status of your account by typing your username into this tool http://www.heliohost.../scripts/status
