  1. I do check my mail; probably twenty times a day. If you're referring to checking my mail to see if the above process works, then yes I have tested it and it does work. If you're referring to an email you sent me regarding Heliohost support, unfortunately Heliohost does not have an official email support system. We recommend posting here in the forums to receive the quickest and most efficient support for your Heliohost account. Our official IRC channel is also a good place to post, but be aware that there isnt going to be a volunteer online 24 hours a day to help you via chat. Any other method to contact the Heliohost staff is not official and at best your experience will likely be slow and inconsistent.
  2. Automatically. Well, the wiki says delete, wait 48 hours, create, wait 48 hours so it sounds like the guide is accurate. Account creations, and deletions are based on server load so the only way to rush anyone would be to ask everyone on both servers to stop visiting their sites or something. Well, the problem with that is what if 500 people all try to create their account at once? 500 instant account creations would surely crash the server. Part of the reason we can provide 99%+ uptime is because we balance out the load as much as possible. Nope. Thanks, we think so too. No, the problem with services that offer paid services is they try to pressure you at every turn to buy their paid services. Whether it is disabling all sorts of useful features, and then telling you that you can upgrade to premium or something like that. Another common scam is registrar's making it so complicated to host your purchased domain anywhere other than their bundled hosting that you just give up and let them take your money. I raise my eyebrow at you in a questioning manner as to why you would even ask this question, but if you don't live in the US then yes our servers are located "offshore". If you do live in the US then the servers are on the same shore as you. I guess it just depends on your perspective.

  5. It's been over 16 hours of your 24 hour period and this issue still hasn't been taken care of. Here is a hint: /home/softvall/public_html/modules/mod_jsn_imageshow_pro/mod_jsn_imageshow_pro.php Failure to delete this file, or replace it with a clean version in the next 8 hours will result in your account being resuspended.

  7. An email has been sent to the address that this forum account was registered with. Replying to this email will verify ownership and the account will be deleted.

  9. First of all there are more ways to have high load than just that one server load number. For instance during a DDoS attack that number would actually be very low, but page requests to the server would take a very long time to return data or they would time out completely. The latter is the type of load that this particular account was suspended for. I'm not in the business of analyzing 20,000 accounts worth of scripts so I have no idea what's wrong with this specific script, but from the point of view of keeping the server functional for everyone it looks like this account opens connections to the server until it hits the maximum and then start showing 500 errors since it can't open anymore, and never closes any of the connections. As long as there are still plenty of available connections none of the other accounts on the server are affected by this, but as soon as all of the rest of the connections are also in use and this account has had the maximum number of connections open for several days or whatever then the response time starts to rise and the account is suspended to free up those connections. Hopefully that helps you understand why your account was suspended, why you're seeing 500 errors, and how to fix it all.
  10. You currently have 0 running processes so it looks like it took care of itself. Generally php is pretty good at killing infinite loops and other broken scripts on its own. I also checked your load levels and your account is nowhere near getting suspended. Despite what our suspended sub forum would indicate its actually pretty tough for legitimate websites to get suspended for high load.

  12. Change your MySQL host from 'birdscout-italy.heliohost.org' to 'localhost' and it should work. Let us know if you're still having problems connecting.

  14. Your account was created 7 hours ago. From the time of account creation it can take up to 24 hours before your domain begins to work.

  16. The main domain script doesn't work if the domain is already added as a parked or addon domain. You must first delete the domain you want to be your main domain and when it doesn't show up in cPanel anymore then change your main domain and it will work as expected.
  17. That's why we ask these questions instead of just opening all of the ports. A port to use has been PMed to you.

  21. To elaborate he means contact the people who write that software and ask them to update their software, or if they have an unreleased or newer version that will work on a modern web hosting system.
  22. Since you bought a dedicated IP cPanel is trying to automatically log you in using ssl when you visit that url. Since Heliohost signs our own certificates for ssl to reduce costs to provide you the best free hosting your browser is going to give an error warning you about it. You can either accept the self signed certificate, or you can just log in how we recommend through http://heliohost.org/
  23. It's not possible then because in order to listen on some random port like that would require some sort of executable to be running on that port or an existing service would have to listen on additional ports.
