  1. It was never turned on to begin with. When we build a server, we don't install any of the php modules except the essential stuff like mysql. It's done to save memory and resources. The fact you're having to ask for it means in the 7+ months since the last rebuild, nobody has ever used iconv on 7.2...
  2. These requests can take a day or two. Also, bumping your post moves you to the back of the line since we work the forums from the bottom up. That way people waiting the longest are served first.
  3. It's usually faster than that. Most sites work in 2 hours or less.
  4. That one was intentional from the looks of it. Specifically it had one of those "free fire" sites hosted on it. Even if not phishing, they're against our terms of service. rokfwuh SUSPENDED gendiamondsfreefire.tk Johnny rokfwuh SUSPENDED gendiamondsfreefire.rokfwuh.heliohost.org Johnny rokfwuh SUSPENDED localhotchick.tk Johnny rokfwuh SUSPENDED localhotchick.rokfwuh.heliohost.org Johnny rokfwuh SUSPENDED rokfwuh.heliohost.org Johnny
  5. Specifically, this failed because you didn't specify a valid domain for the account. If you want to use one of our free subdomains, make sure to put a domain ending in .heliohost.org (for example thesis2019.heliohost.org would work). You can try again using the invite email that Luigi sent you.
  6. You'll Need to contact network solutions to find out why the system isn't changing your name servers when you tell it to. The name server settings for your domain are managed by them. On our end everything is set up correctly. As for HTTPS, Johnny requires you manually install a certificate. https://wiki.helionet.org/Installing_a_Let%27s_Encrypt_SSL_Certificate. Note that it requires about 2 hours to start working after you install it.
  7. Never mind...it failed because you already have an account. Do you want the Johnny account moved to Tommy?
  8. I'm in the process of manually verifying this so I can send you one. We receive so few donations this way that it's not worth our while to have an automated system for it...
  9. Bingo. Sohamb03's solution is the proper way to accomplish that. Remove the subdomain in cPanel, then go into DNS zone editor and add an A record named "blog" with the IP of the external server. (Note that if you're using an external DNS service like CF, you need to do this at their site instead of in cPanel).
  10. Did you add the domain in cpanel? If it gives you a name server error adding it as an addon domain, try setting it as your main domain with this script: http://heliohost.org/classic/support/scripts/domain
  11. cPanel doesn't support it, so no. We can only use software versions supported by cP, and xP is known for being very slow to introduce support for new software versions. As a result, we (and other cpanel hosts) primarily run older software. Postgres is stuck on v9 for the same reason. If you really need mysql 8, you'll need to buy a VPS and run your own server instead.
  12. Yeah, MX record priority needs to be set to 0 on Tommy in order for mail to deliver for some reason. No idea why. It really shouldn't even matter when you only have one MX record, but having a record with priority 0 (highest priority) is considered a standard practice and apparently our mail server requires it for some reason.
  13. I was able to send to apps@devansab successfully after making another DNS change (which shouldn't really matter, I just changed the priority of the MX to 0).
  14. DNS for the zone devansab.com appears to be correct at this point. Please let us know if you need anything else.
  15. 1. Odds are it's just load. Hotlink protection shouldn't cause that dramatic of a change in performance. 2. He's running a laravel app, not WP. 3. /tmp is not full.
  16. Your application pool had crashed due to DNN hitting some kind of error. I've restarted it for you.
  17. WordPress is notorious for bad security. You're one of many here in the past few weeks who got an accidental phishing ban due to WP getting hacked. We highly recommend not using WP for this and many other reasons. For example, here's two others who had the same thing happen to them recently...both were hacked WP that got them banned for phishing: https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/39486-solved-suspended-choccbe/ https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/39420-suspended-blitzcod/ Unfortunately, we don't have any choice but to ban accounts that contain phishing content. Out provider requires we remove this content when it's reported or detected, and if we fail to do so, they block the entire server until it is removed. Because these accounts often contain stolen data collected by the phishing site, we can't let the account owner have the account back either. An invite for a replacement account has been emailed to the address on file
  18. It's banned for phishing. Were you using Wordpress by chance? We've been seeing lots of hacked Wordpress installations lately, and the hackers have been setting up phishing on the accounts.
  19. Sparkie isnt a hosting server. It's the name for the hardware that holds Johnny.
  20. Those should’ve changed on their own when you moved. Are you using cloudflare or something? (As a reminder, we don’t provide support for any configuration not using our name servers).
  21. Since he mentions WP, I suspect Krydos is simply going to point to the WP install's index.php...WP's design makes it impossible for us to give any more detailed information. Nonetheless, let's see what he says.
  22. Your account was suspended for causing high server load. I have unsuspended your account, but please try to limit the load you put on our servers as it slows down not only your site, but the sites of all other HelioHost users sharing your server. <br /><br />If you still see the suspended page, please clear your cache.<br /><br />If you need help figuring out why your site is causing such high load let us know and we can try to help. If the high load is simply because your site is getting a lot of traffic, you might want to consider purchasing a VPS instead. https://www.heliohost.org/vps/ VPS hosting gives you an entire virtual server to yourself, including no load limits, a dedicated IP address, and full root access.
