  1. They can take several hours to restore, especially on Ricky or Johnny when load is up. He'll let you know when it's done.
  2. Unblocked again. It's IMAP logins... I suspect it's counting timeouts as "failed" logins (they are failed...but not due to the user connecting). I was able to block myself on Johnny a while back messing with the email, and I only had one PC with thunderbird running to test something...it blocked me while the server was down due to load... Perhaps Krydos has input on this.
  3. Did you assign the database user to the database? Also, you MUST use johnny.heliohost.org as the host name. MySQL does not support the user subdomains, so pizzaria.heliohost.org will not work in a database connection.
  4. The program is likely overwriting the htaccess file. The version selection is stored in .htaccess Easiest fix is to put the application inside a folder instead of directly in your domain’s doc root.
  5. You should be able to forego the authentication (and the SSL) entirely and it should work. Just make a plain, unsecured connection on port 25, and send. Don't even send an AUTH. Make sure your HELO reflects 65.19.141.70 in its greeting. This is working for me, one of my apps has no smtp authentication support when run under IIS (that app is why I set this up to begin with). This will work only as long as the request comes from Lily. A request from any other server requires authentication.
  6. ...and that explains why we never got any others Fixed.
  7. @sohamb03: we do have one surprisingly enough. We currently own $27.67 in ETH. We've only ever had one ETH payment before and it was two years ago (we got it in early 2018 I think, just before the crypto market collapsed). It was a $50 straight donation that promptly lost its value days after we received it (which is why it wasn't sold, only started to recover recently...) I'm not sure if Krydos will go for this on a VPS though since it's one of our more important revenue streams. We've got to keep the lights on somehow, and gambling it in the crypto market isn't terribly wise. Our current provider only accepts and auto-sells BTC. Everything else we accept is something I have to sell manually and send to that provider for us to get cash. We might be willing to do it if you pre-pay for a year or something, but it'd be a hassle if I have to sell this manually every month. Let's see what Krydos says on this one.
  8. Unarchived. It may take up to 2 hours to start working.
  9. You shouldn't be using a Dynamic DNS domain with a proper hosting provider...DDNS is meant to be used for hosting stuff on an internet connection with a dynamic IP like a home PC. Hosting providers like us have static IPs and don't need DDNS. You can contact them and ask if they'll turn it on so you can do it anyway, but you would need to find a different domain if they refuse. Our services (especially the email) won't work with just an A record, so doing it that way is pointless. Email alone requires an MX and several TXT records in addition to an A record, and there's also a few CNAMEs that cPanel expects for services like FTP and Webdisk. That's the whole point of the NS record, it basically tells anyone asking FreeDNS for this information to ask us instead, and since we also host your site, we know exactly what records you need and just supply them.
  10. Here's a screenshot of someone else registering a domain there using NS records. It doesn't have instructions, but it shows it can be done. You apparently have to register the same domain twice, once with each NS, to get both of them added. https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/39193-krydos-alternatives-for-manually-parking-domains-for-users/page-2?do=findComment&comment=173080 Whether the free subdomains they offer can do it, I don't know, but the DNS function itself can definitely handle it.
  11. Afraid.org is a known issue with our service (in fact, it's not really compatible with pretty much any cPanel-based hosting services). You can in fact use custom name servers with them though how to do so is not obvious. I believe someone on here posted the instructions before, but I can't find them at the moment. Also, we can add manually extra domains to your account for you. No need for more than one account, you can just ask for the extras
  12. The account joe6 was already unsuspended in another request. These accounts cannot be restored.
  13. Unsuspended. It might take a little while to start working. Please let us know if you have any questions.
  14. You were suspended for multiple reasons. First, you were suspended for creating multiple accounts when you’re only allowed 1. Second, the account is marked as suspicious. What do you plan to use this account for?
  15. Check your permissions... files need to be set to 644 to work. As for WP...Wordpress is the one program we recommend be avoided (insomuch that we've actually considered banning it). It causes tons of load issues and is also the leading cause of hacked accounts, suspensions, and even accidental bans. It's so badly written that literally every other CMS available is faster and more secure.
  16. Did you delete the contents of your ~/tmp folder by chance? Doing that resets your stats. Also I would verify the stats apps turned on (look under metrics editor).
  17. I forgot to submit my post. Yeah, it's unarchived now
  18. The easiest solution is to use SMTP through tommy. You'll need to set your MX records for the domain sending the mail to tommy.heliohost.org if you do this (otherwise your mail will likely get marked as spam). Use tommy.heliohost.org as the host, port 25, no authentication (Lily is whitelisted on Tommy, so Lily can send mail through Tommy without authenticating).
  19. Just a heads up, don't use Wordpress. It's the number one cause of performance issues as well as hacked accounts and even accidental bans. WP is a pile of garbage internally...so badly written that I'm actually kind of surprised it works at all to be honest. The extensions just make it even worse, especially considering many of them (especially from third party sites) tend to be either unmaintained disasters or intentionally contain a backdoor. Just about any other CMS you look at it will be both faster and more secure.
  20. If you mean mysql, that cannot be upgraded because we are required to use the version supported by cpanel.
