  1. The old Document Root of the wildcard "*.firm.tk" subdomain is "/public_html/domains". And I've change it now to "/public_html" and the system print such as its document root has been updated. But until now, when I visit the URL "blog.firm.tk", it looks like its document root is still at "/public_html/domains" because I'm still seeing its subdirectory "cgi-bin/" that's listed therein the main web page. Could any admin fix it? Could you please really update the document root of the wildcard "*.firm.tk" subdomain to the "/public_html" directory? Thanks!

In the Step 1: Download and Extract of the Detailed Instructions on “Installing WordPress « WordPress Codex”, there are the words “If you have shell access to your web server...” My questions are: What is a Shell Access to a Web Server? Do HelioHost features shell access to their web server? And if does, where can a client see or what is their shell access to HelioHost server?
  3. Most free web hosts have limited sending of emails.. Some of them have limited sending to 1 email per hour. Now, what is the SMTP (Send mails) limitation of HelioHost? Does it have limit? Or it is unlimited or what?
  4. No that is not my second account. Actually the one who created it is not from my country but from Nepal, because I suggest the HelioHost to him. We both have access to that account, and it's not a good idea to give my password to him because he will get access to my account with nice domains, I have more but they're not yet added. And about my personal account, I'm going to use it in the near future and if God's willing..
  5. I have suggested HelioHost to my project partner which is located in Nepal. So we choose it to be a web hosting provider of our project. So for now on, I'm logging with our chosen username "sowhale" in the same IP address where do I also log my personal username. So, if any admin have tracked that I'm logging with two different usernames, please notice this post.. And if the hosting systems automatically disable both accounts that are using the same IP, then please allow it on our accounts. Big THANKS!!

  8. Sir/Mam, I get it! After trying and waiting (because of brute force protection,) a lot of hours, I've guessed that my password with 18 characters, 16 alphabets all in all lower case without any special character, [a-z] and two numbers, [0-9] IS TRUNCATED TO 12 CHARACTERS.. The last 6 parts of the characters were cut! But believe me, I can change that truncated password to the previous password that had been truncated. Actually, last month, I am trying to test an specific username if it's available, but I accidentally created it with seven-numbers password. [0-9] But I already deleted it! And no problem about the login attempt or details.
  9. I think, you understand it well, no critical error.. Because a new created folder even there's an error is still successful created. I'm just a girlish.. And I'm just trying to report the error. I thought, I was the only one who experiencing the mild error. In other way, recreating my account wouldn't be fix the mild error. But it's just okay!
  10. How do you get hacked? What do you think is the reason how your website gets vulnerable? Is there any suspecting software or script that you had uploaded to your web server? Or else?
  11. First, I only have one web hosting account! In other words, I just recreates my account.. It would be better to review my creation history that listed below: First registration, is on Johnny. But I move my account to Stevie. Now, I try to recreate my account in Stevie hoping the mild AJAX error would be fixed. And note that the password that I've used on all of those (re)creation have 18 characters, all alphabets are in lower case, and have two numbers. Here is the problem, every after the creation of my account, I always use Password Reset to get my password because all of my login attempts without resetting my password were always failed. Why it's happening?

So, I've plan to start a new thread, but this time, it's totally in detail! Okay, when I add a new folder on the folder of the Document Root of an Addon Domain with these actions, I'm getting an alert of AJAX error: When I visit a Document Root in the Addon Domains by clicking a Document Root's link at the bottom. And start adding a "New Folder". The "AJAX error; please reload this page and try again." will now alert. This is another action where I also get a folder creating AJAX Error: When I visit the File Manager in the section "Files" on cPanel. And then double-clicking the Document Root's folder icon of an Addon Domain. And now start adding a New Folder. The "AJAX error; please reload this page and try again." will now appear. The screen shot of the AJAX error is this: But when I REFRESH the page before creating a new folder on the document root's folder or when I act like this, the error does not appear: Visit the File Manager in the section "Files" on cPanel. Click the public_html folder on the sidebar of the File Manager. Click the specific Document Root's folder of an Addon Domain in the File Manager's sidebar. And start adding a New Folder. Then the directory contents will fetch without any error! The good thing in the AJAX error is, after clicking the "OK" button on the error alert, the File Manager will "Fetching directory contents" and the new folder will be still successfully created.. Now, I'm thinking to delete my account again and to recreate it with the same username, hoping the error would be fixed.. (I need also to uninstall the WordPress software and its modules on my account. So, an account recreation would still help me to do that, but I can unistall the software in the right way.) I'm just waiting to the command of an admin. Do an admin recommend this? Or can an admin instantly recreate my account, so I wouldn't need to wait to sign up for Stevie account? Or my idea is a bad practice or else?

This AJAX error is irritating me when every time I try to create a new folder on the folder of the Document Root of my Addon Domain: But after clicking the "OK" button on the alert, the created new folder will appear, I mean, it's created, but still, the error is irritating. But when I try to add a new folder on the folder of the Document Root of my main domain, that error doesn't exist.. Do anybody here experienced the same issue when creating a new folder on the Document Root's folder of an Addon Domain in File Manager? Is there any way to fix it? My details about what's folder of a Document Root that causes the error when I try to add a new folder and about what's my username, are in the attachment. I hope that irritation can be fixed, thanks!

Maybe, the one who start this thread want to use the unlimited ∞ SQL Databases, specially the database storage (in otherwise, the database system) of the free web hosting, on the other web hosting service, which sometime comes also in my mind.. (I still wondered until now if the database storage is also unlimited...)

  20. Mam/Sir, Lets talk about this message which would be received after a Hosting Account Installed!‏: Because I'm planning to fully host my websites with this free web hosting service... What if I successfully developed a script with that host and completely installed some software therein and my database already got an important information because of the users who coming thought my websites... What if my account get suspended for inactivity? Can I recovered the data therein? Or even just the database? AND WHAT IF my account get suspended just because of an error of the system? (As mentioned in Heliohost FAQ - HelioHost Wiki and in Suspended and Queued Accounts - HelioNet.) How can I get my data back? Or even just the important database? If ever there's no way to get the data back when the account get suspend, mostly if the reason is just because of the error, then it's VERY HARD.. Please respond, thank you..
  21. Mam/Sir, After requesting an account deletion thought HelioHost - Account Deletion Script for the reason of moving that account. Should I need to wait at least 48 hours before my account get fully deleted specially to avoid some error or bug on the new moved account or even I created a new account with the same username, it will not get any single error even I did not wait at least 48 hours? This is just a simple question, because I've concern what if the deleted account be registered again with the same username even if it just 5 hours ago before it was requested to be deleted, did that account get error or that account will be fine at least the account get fully deleted in 5 hours? Thanks for replying in advance! (I really don't want a single error.)

Sir/Mam, First, I want to ask, what if my website that hosted in HelioHost is in good standing and if I'm relaxing over 2 months and "forget to login to heliohost.org at least once a month", do the host suspend my account for inactivity causes my site to be inactive, even my site is in good standing? (This will make my site in bad standing..) Please answer this. This is my request, I would like to have an account on Stevie, even I already have an account on Johnny. My web pages that hosted on Johnny are slow and sometimes, they're down. That's why I'm confuse. For me, the name of the username is important. So, this is what I want, if HelioNet allow me to create an account on Stevie, can I registered an account on there with my username on Johnny? IF NOT, would you please move my account specially the username on Johnny, I don't care if all of my files will be formatted, because I'm just started and doesn't have any important file yet. So, I would create an account on Johnny when I needed.   24. BUT I couldn't set up a new domain with Addon Domains in cPanel X, it created a new subdomain of the main domain (which I already deleted) instead of creating a new domain. And I already created an /index.html for the new domain which is visible at: http://firm.tk/webdirectory.tk/ Actually, this topic is belongs on "HelioHost: Customer Service" and not on "HelioHost: Questions" if ever you can move this topic into "Customer Service" could you please do it.
