It's called Alias Domains now. It was called parked domains from like 2005-2018 so we're used to that. If you search for "park" though it will bring up alias domains button though.

75mb is pretty big for a php file upload. Put the .sql file in /home/engorpk2/database.sql and tell me the filename and the database name and I'll import the database for you.

Forum accounts and hosting accounts are separate. We didn't used to create both at the same time. We didn't used to require that the username be free on both the forums and the hosting servers. It's possible someone has a forum account with a username that matches a hosting account, but they're not the same person. Lots of people have different email addresses on their hosting accounts versus their forum accounts. Some people create their hosting account and then request that we delete their forum account which would give someone the opportunity to recreate that forum account and pretend to be them to get the backup. It's easier to bruteforce the password on the forum account than it is on the hosting account so someone could theoretically gain access to the forum account, and then try to get the backup.

Backups can only be emailed to the registered email address that you last had on your Tommy account. We will not be sending backups to any random email address that people request because anyone could come along and pretend to be a user to gain access to your private files. If you don't have access to the email address that you had registered on your Tommy account you will not be able to receive a backup and you'll have to use whatever the latest backup you had downloaded yourself prior to the crash. If your registered email address was an email that was hosted on Tommy you will need to transfer that email address to Ricky, Johnny, or another host before you will be able to receive the email with the download link.

We expect the maintenance to begin around 8pm UTC and last about an hour. It may end up changing though, but that's the latest information that I have. It all depends on when Ashoat gets there, and how long it takes.

Even if our main website is down, you can still login to the individual servers using port 2083. https://ricky.heliohost.org:2083/ or https://johnny.heliohost.org:2083/ You have to login with your username though. That login won't recognize your email address.

This downtime will not affect users on Ricky or Johnny.

Postgresql backups are now uploaded to the backup system as well. I don't think we lost any data in this crash at all.

Turns out your file system went read-only due to filesystem errors. I ran fsck for you to fix the errors, and rebooted the VPS. Everything seems to be working again. Let me know if anything is still behaving oddly. 49 mins.

No, the backups will not automatically be restored on the new Tommy after he's rebuilt. Unfortunately, Tommy is too dead to do any automated backup/restore scripts, and we don't have the staff/time to restore thousands of accounts one by one by hand. We will provide the backups through the https://www.heliohost.org/backup/ system when they are ready, and it will require you to download the files and restore them yourself onto whatever temporary or new Tommy account you make. After the data is fully backed up, the old Tommy accounts will be deleted from the system. Once Tommy v2 is ready we will make a news post, and you can request a Tommy invite or, if you made a temporary account on Rick or Johnny, we can move your account back to Tommy. We will have a list of all the accounts that existed on Tommy at the time of the crash, and if you're on the list you'll be able to get right back onto Tommy without having to donate again or be fast enough to sign up at midnight UTC. After a new server is built there is a period of time where we have to scale up slowly and tweak things a little to get the best performance, so we may not send out all the invites and move everyone back all at once. We may need to stagger it over some time depending on how many request to get back on Tommy.

Try this, edit /etc/hosts and change the line that says 127.0.0.1 stockdiv.com to 127.0.0.1 mail.stockdiv.com This issue has now taken 18 minutes of my time.
