  1. Tomcat is running again. Did your deployment process?
  2. That outage this mooning was load related from what I can tell. If i had to guess, tomcat hung or crashed as a result of the absurd load. Krydos needs to check on tommy. The main background task (a script we call "bihourly") that does things like routine Apache restarts and new account creation seems to be hung as well, so it's not just tomcat that's broken.
  3. Is it Java? Tomcat seems to be dead at the moment, so all Java sites are down. Non-Java websites are working normally provided they were configured prior to the outage this morning. EDIT: took a look, it's java...
  4. There's other things going on with Tommy at the moment too. Domains aren't configuring either. I opened a separate topic for the Apache problem you can follow. https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/36126-tommy-apache/ When that's fixed, your issue should be fixed as well.
  5. Tommy's Apache seems to be behaving oddly...it's working, but it's not restarting to configure domains/SSL/etc. like it should. Last restart was about 8 hours ago as of this post. I ran AutoSSL for someone and it didn't restart after succeeding at installing a certificate and setting up SSL, so he's seeing the nossl page despite now having SSL configured correctly. Also, I added a subdomain for testing and it never completed setup (ended up with a queued page...) I also can't restart it manually. The ACP status page is blank when visited, and WHM refuses to let me restart it from there (says a build is in progress and restarting it would break it)? EDIT: I also just noticed that new Tommy accounts aren't even being created. Did bihourly hang due to the massive load earlier during the outage?
  6. It's because Apache hasn't restarted since it was installed. It's supposed to occur within minutes, but it didn't for some reason. WHM refuses to let me restart it, and the normal admin tools don't work at all (I can't even view the page where the button is...it's blank). WHM shows me: Current Time: Sunday, 30-Jun-2019 01:43:01 UTC Restart Time: Saturday, 29-Jun-2019 16:44:17 UTC That last restart time is well before I ran AutoSSL for you, which is why it doesn't work. There's still something wrong with Tommy from earlier, though it's at least up for now. Once Apache restarts, you'll be set to go on your SSL now that I got it to install the cert for you.
  7. It indeed failed due to the earlier outage. I manually ran it for you, so you should have it within the next hour or so.
  8. Not sure what's going on with Apache. It refuses to restart. The normal admin tools give me a blank screen when I go to the page wher I would restart it, and WHM spits this error out when I try to do so from there. Maybe Krydos is updating it?
  9. At this point, it's not going to work because the server is broken. It's been down since 3am EDT.
  10. If you’re on Johnny you have to install a cert yourself then wait 2 hours. Delete all certs currently installed then wait 24 hours. Also, if you have a redirect to force SSL, remove it or add an exception for the .well-known folder. Otherwise it will break the domain verification process. The only time you need to install a cert yourself is if you’re on Johnny. The other servers issue on their own within 24 hours. Finally, Auto SSL and Cloudflare are incompatible. Be sure to remove Cloudflare before waiting for automatic SSL installation.
  11. Krydos doesn't know yet, but doesn't think we'll be paying anything close to what's being advertised. I did the math on the retail prices in that link, and if we paid full price we'd have to drop cP entirely (it'd be nearly $8K per year under that licensing plan just to keep using cPanel the way we do now) It's worth noting that we don't pay anywhere close to full price for cPanel as it currently stands, and a recent response from cPanel's support confirmed the special licenses we're using will still be available to us (though it didn't mention whether their price will stay the same). A large part of the reason it's so cheap for us is because we're both a 501c3 and really good marketing for them. Users who move on to paid hosting tend to ask for cPanel by name simply because they've been using it here and know it.
  12. Tommy was down for the past half hour due to load but has since returned to normal.
  13. It was suspended for sending too many emails. Flazepe beat me to it
  14. Mine haven’t run the past few days either. The last thing my cron does is send an email around 2am from my crons detailing the data processed by one of my apps. The email hasn’t arrived since Saturday. I just checked and both of my main systems are showing past due crons in their scheduler too. If I had to guess, the cron daemon is hung.
  15. Oh that explains it. If you become inactive you lose your Java by design. We can't give it back if it's lost for any reason other than system malfunction because, when working correctly, the system automatically gives the slot to the next person in line within minutes of your account being suspended. To give it back would mean we'd have to take it away from the person who took your spot. You'll need to get in line and wait again.
  16. It's probably your ISP or network blocking port 2083, not your PC. Most school and corporate networks block it at the network's edge firewall for example, and you won't be able to do anything about it in that scenario other than using a VPN. Logging into https://heliohost.org/login/ is enough to qualify as activity though, even if you can't reach cPanel itself. Your last login date is showing as today, so you've already done what you need to
  17. This account is suspended for spam. Specifically, the domains deliverer.xyz and deliverer-online.info were running abusive "safe list" scripts (which besides being horrible for a site's reputation and effectively ruin any chance of it being listed on a search engine, these are also basically glorified spambots). The content of these two domains, as well as the emails sent by them, are both against our TOS. You also need to empty the mailboxes for nigelbarksfield.co.uk because it's full of spam emails, some of which appear to have been sent by the abusive domains above. If you didn't create these domains, someone hacked your account, in which case you should change your password. I've disabled the domains in question and unsuspended you. Please remove the abusive domains and all of their contents immediately.
  18. The weird part here is that you never even got suspended (unless perhaps it was for inactivity, did you renew yourself?). If not, the most likely is that the Java was removed for non-use, which can happen if you have insufficient traffic to your site. Krydos might be able to tell you why this happened.
  19. Tomcat crapped out again from the looks of it. Lets have Krydos take a look.
  20. It's the registration email for your website. The fastest fix is to disable the email verification for your registrations.
  21. It's suspended because your registration emails are being flagged as abuse by several email providers and we received reports that these were unwanted. Make sure the email addresses mentioned never receive another email from you. Unsuspended. We have received a complaint about your account. Please investigate and fix within 24 hours. 22. The servers are overloaded, which is why everything is so slow. Java specifically was also being worked on by Krydos at one point, so that had a role in its issues as well. I'm not sure what if anything else can really be done to help performance at this point. You may wish to consider a VPS though so you don't have to share with everyone else.
  23. Moodle is just extremely bloated software. I played with it a while back and it ran like crap even on its own server, so on a shared server this performance is basically expected. It's one of the few programs I know of that can make even Wordpress's horrible performance look good. Your best course of action is to find other software.
