Um... Latest post in News: http://www.helionet....sues-on-stevie/ Oh, perhaps the confusion is arising because djbob posted in my news thread saying that the issue is resolved. It isn't and he knows it isn't resolved. He has been working on getting it fixed. If it really bothers anyone that they can't log into cPanel through the bottom of the home page feel free to back up your site, request a site deletion, and then recreate your account. That will fix the issue, but it seems like a bit of overkill just to be able to log in through two links instead of just one link.

hdhdhd, I suggest you read http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/2-the-official-spam-guide/ http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/1544-the-official-etiquette-guide/ and http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/3-the-official-enforcement-guide/ If the OP wants anything edited or deleted he need only ask.

A large portion of the websites hosted on HelioHost are not in English. As long as you don't break the TOS http://www.heliohost.org/h-terms.html it doesn't matter what language you use. Just keep in mind that the admins all speak English so sometimes providing support to people who don't speak English can be a little tricky, but we do our best.

Since you already created a new account I just deleted your old stevie account uranium. Your uranium account was fully functioning, by the way, we are just having database issues which make logging in from heliohost.org say your username doesn't exist which you would have known if you had read our twitter feed or the news on this website. Anyways, wait 24 hours and try adding that parked domain again and you should be good with the new account.
-
You created your account on 2011-11-06. It is currently 2011-11-07. You do the math.
-
I'm not sure what happened either, but that username isn't in the database nor is it an account on stevie. If you're sure you typed it right then it can only mean that your account has been deleted due to inactivity. Feel free to create a new account, and sorry for any inconvenience. Keep in mind that once an account is deleted all data regarding that account and all files are permanently deleted to make room for active accounts. So we don't have any backups of your site for you, but you should be able to restore your account using any backups that you may possess.

Your account has been manually unsuspended. If you still see the suspended page then you should try clearing your browsers cache. Also keep in mind that we are having some database issues at the moment on Stevie so that is why you were unable to reactivate your account using that script. If you try to log into cPanel through heliohost.org/home it will also say that your username doesn't exist, but you should be able to log in with this link instead: http://stevie.heliohost.org:2082/ http://wiki.helionet.org/Clear_your_cache -- Please spare a few minutes to take our brief survey: http://feedback.heliohost.org/ Your participation in this survey is greatly appreciated.

[Solved] [SOLVED] Dedicated Ip Address [Amount Paid]
Krydos replied to DmC's topic in Escalated Requests
This support request is being escalated to our root admin. Just need to wait for djbob now. -
For the record here are some credits as I know them. djbob installed the latest version of IPB 3.2. JJE created the custom theme. Xaav migrated all the users and data. Xaav made IPB 3.2 the default forum. Sorry if I left anyone out of the credits. Perhaps someone who knows a bit more about who all did what should make a news post?

That is interesting. It looks like stevie has a cron job to run ntp, and johnny does not. I'm thinking a cPanel upgrade added rdate and autosyncing of the time, but stevie already had ntp set up and now rdate and ntp are fighting each other. @piotr, thanks for noticing this. I've removed the ntp from cron, and killed the existing ntp process. Both stevie and johnny now have identical rdate calls to the same server. (I assume this line was added by cPanel upgrade anyways.) Let us know if you see anything weird or if this doesn't fix the weirdness.

Your account has been manually unsuspended. If it ends up suspended again only the root admin is going to be able to unsuspend it.

Yes. Breaking one of our rules. If this statement were true I doubt that your account would be getting suspended. There are literally thousands of other accounts that aren't getting suspended. If I had to venture a guess I would say that you were probably sending spam emails. Our two servers got listed on spamhaus.org three times in just a matter of a few weeks. When that happens it means that NO ONE on the entire server can send or receive emails. So, obviously that is not fair to all the accounts that aren't abusing our email servers. For these reasons we had to crack down and suspend a lot of accounts. Perhaps your account was one of the email spammers?

Linux Websites Hacked ~Security news
Krydos replied to PenTester's topic in Technology and the Internet
Yeah, seriously. I've edited out my share of passwords posted on these forums, and when you warn people about it they just shrug and ask "who cares?" -
Yeah, it's been a long time coming. Since before I was even an admin they have been working on this upgrade. It took a little getting used to, but overall I think IPB 3.2 is much better than the antiquated version we were running.

Are the jsp pages still not displaying? If they are not what is your cPanel username and maybe a link to a test .jsp file?
-
We are a free service and we don't have any upgrade features. Logging in to cPanel only takes a few seconds so it really shouldn't be too much of a hassle. The reason we have the requirement is to prove that all the accounts on our servers are still actively being used. If an account isn't being used anymore then the space gets freed up for accounts that will be active. Most active users who want to prevent their site from being deleted just sets reminders on their phone or something every couple weeks to log on.

Looks like it is working to me. Oh my bad, I didn't see the last comment because it was on the second page.

http://www.heliohost.org/h-terms.html I think you'd have a better idea of why your account was getting suspended since it's your site and your content. Having you been sending a ton of spam email, or hosting porn, or hosting illegal software, or malicious software, or causing high server load, or running a phishing site, or exceeding your cron limit, or infringing upon copyright laws, or anything else that you can think of? We can unsuspend your account again if you're certain the answer to all of the above is "no", but if we unsuspend without you taking any action to correct any issue(s) you'll probably just end up suspended again.

It's showing queued because you don't have the domain parked or associated with your account. Queued just means that there is no record of that domain so apache doesn't know what account to serve and it assumes your account is brand new and hasn't finished being created yet. You can't use the main domain switch tool because of our weird database error has yours and many other stevie accounts not listed in it. Have you tried parking the domain again on your cPanel after I ran the corrupt domain fixing script?
