  1. That is interesting. It looks like stevie has a cron job to run ntp, and johnny does not. I'm thinking a cPanel upgrade added rdate and autosyncing of the time, but stevie already had ntp set up and now rdate and ntp are fighting each other. @piotr, thanks for noticing this. I've removed the ntp from cron, and killed the existing ntp process. Both stevie and johnny now have identical rdate calls to the same server. (I assume this line was added by cPanel upgrade anyways.) Let us know if you see anything weird or if this doesn't fix the weirdness.
  2. Your account has been manually unsuspended. If it ends up suspended again only the root admin is going to be able to unsuspend it.
  3. Yes. Breaking one of our rules. If this statement were true I doubt that your account would be getting suspended. There are literally thousands of other accounts that aren't getting suspended. If I had to venture a guess I would say that you were probably sending spam emails. Our two servers got listed on spamhaus.org three times in just a matter of a few weeks. When that happens it means that NO ONE on the entire server can send or receive emails. So, obviously that is not fair to all the accounts that aren't abusing our email servers. For these reasons we had to crack down and suspend a lot of accounts. Perhaps your account was one of the email spammers?
  4. Yeah, seriously. I've edited out my share of passwords posted on these forums, and when you warn people about it they just shrug and ask "who cares?"
  5. Yeah, it's been a long time coming. Since before I was even an admin they have been working on this upgrade. It took a little getting used to, but overall I think IPB 3.2 is much better than the antiquated version we were running.
  6. Are the jsp pages still not displaying? If they are not what is your cPanel username and maybe a link to a test .jsp file?
  7. We are a free service and we don't have any upgrade features. Logging in to cPanel only takes a few seconds so it really shouldn't be too much of a hassle. The reason we have the requirement is to prove that all the accounts on our servers are still actively being used. If an account isn't being used anymore then the space gets freed up for accounts that will be active. Most active users who want to prevent their site from being deleted just sets reminders on their phone or something every couple weeks to log on.
  8. Looks like it is working to me. Oh my bad, I didn't see the last comment because it was on the second page.
  9. http://www.heliohost.org/h-terms.html I think you'd have a better idea of why your account was getting suspended since it's your site and your content. Having you been sending a ton of spam email, or hosting porn, or hosting illegal software, or malicious software, or causing high server load, or running a phishing site, or exceeding your cron limit, or infringing upon copyright laws, or anything else that you can think of? We can unsuspend your account again if you're certain the answer to all of the above is "no", but if we unsuspend without you taking any action to correct any issue(s) you'll probably just end up suspended again.
  10. Your account has been manually unsuspended. If you still see the suspended page then you should try clearing your browsers cache. http://wiki.helionet.org/Clear_your_cache -- Please spare a few minutes to take our brief survey: http://feedback.heliohost.org/ Your participation in this survey is greatly appreciated.

  12. It's showing queued because you don't have the domain parked or associated with your account. Queued just means that there is no record of that domain so apache doesn't know what account to serve and it assumes your account is brand new and hasn't finished being created yet. You can't use the main domain switch tool because of our weird database error has yours and many other stevie accounts not listed in it. Have you tried parking the domain again on your cPanel after I ran the corrupt domain fixing script?
  13. Your account has been unsuspended. Please make sure your account isn't sending spam emails.

  16. Vol7ron, ten years ago when you dropped that toothpick and it bounced sightly to the left it began the butterfly effect that eventually lead to my sense of humour being surgically removed by an Iraqi man in a cave with a rusty bowie knife. I'l spare you the boring details, but know that it is your fault entirely.
  17. It's not straight md5 though. It has the secret djbob salt sprinkled and whatnot.
  18. Thanks for the contribution. This was probably worth digging up an old thread for.
  19. Log into cPanel, Click "Disk Space Usage" and it displays a nice report of the various folders and how much space they use. You do seem to be having some sort of diskspace issue because your account is maxed out at 500mb, 493mb of which is in your public_html folder: [/home1/c0rs0]# du -sh * 4.0K bin 40K etc 4.0K NetXure 12K perl 0 perl5 80K php 8.0K public_ftp 493M public_html 2.8M tmp 0 www 192K xmail Look in your eshop folder at all the core.##### files. Those are core dumps from some application crashing. They can be safely deleted.
  20. I guess I just don't understand the logic of blaming some downtime today on someone who was running a script 65 days ago on a server with thousands of accounts.

  22. Read the latest news post: http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/10825-database-issues-on-stevie/ Your account still exists.
  23. Don't worry about the misquote. I was just making a joke. It's probably better that you read posts thoroughly than know who exactly said what. Yeah, I know you don't need a mouse clicking bot, but I was just giving an example of how anything is possible.
  24. @byron for some as of yet undetermined reason a large percentage of the stevie accounts have disappeared from our database, but they are still in the whm database. Johnny accounts are unaffected.
