  1. Why not? For a bunch of reasons, the biggest being players...I've had people playing on 51990 (and its sister 51991) for a while now, and telling people to reconfigure their game when you don't even have contact info for most of them is challenging/impossible. More than likely they'd just go find a different server. Also, my ISP blocks all the common ports, so I can't host the server on ports like 21, 25, 80, 443, or 8080 that are likely to be open outbound here anyway. Speaking of which...is there a list of outbound ports that do work here so I know where to put future servers if I need to be able to see them from Stevie?
  2. That domain is working fine. If you still see the queued page, please clear your cache.
  3. Their choice of "ads" is interesting, since they often seem to promote fake security scans, malicious Firefox updates, pyramid and get-rich-quick schemes, and similar dubious content.
  4. That domain is serving ads, one of which is malware (a fake firefox update). The DNS on that domain is not pointed to Heliohost: http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/php/tools/dns_records.php?domain=headlessbuddhasamples.tk&rec=ALL If I had to guess, it looks like .tk canceled your domain Log into .tk and see if its still listed in your registered domains. Chances are it's not.
  5. I have a script that uses fsockopen()...it can't connect when it is run from Heliohost. The script in question will be providing a web-based status monitor for a game server that's hosted elsewhere. All it needs to do is connect to the destination to see if its still alive. A test script can be found at http://raxsoft.tk/temp/fsock.php It just checks and report a success or failure. Right now, it just sits there until PHP times out trying to connect. It works fine if I run it on my PC, but that defeats its purpose. The destination server that the script is supposed to connect to is minecraft.raxsoft.tk on port 51990. Is this port open outbound? If so, any idea why this doesn't work? If not, is there another way to either have it opened or to make this work (changing the port is not an option)? I'm user rax on Stevie.
  6. The license needs to be updated on Stevie. It happens every few weeks, and affects everyone on Stevie when it happens. An admin will fix it shortly.
  7. Johnny will always be the less reliable server, since it's used for testing upgrades and for services that cause a lot of load (e.g. Java). There's times when it's down for hours, and others where it's up for days straight. Johnny has been down several times so far today, for several minutes each time: http://heliohost.grd.net.pl/monitor/ Stevie hasn't been down at all. If up-time is the priority and you don't need things like Java or Ruby, use Stevie. As for SSL, a mod or admin will probably be able to explain it better, but you usually pay first, then post the transaction number and the account you want the IP put on. An admin verifies the payment and adds the IP address. The only fee is the $12 for the IP address.
  8. How are you logging in? Does it work if you log in at http://johnny.heliohost.org:2082 ? Also, have you tried resetting your password?
  9. Only cPanel 11.38 and up support it, so no, the cPanel we have does not support it. We have cPanel 11.34 on Johnny and 11.30 on Stevie.
  10. Those domains seem to be working. If you still see the Queued page, please clear your cache.
  11. You can't. cPanel does not support SNI. To use SSL on heliohost, you must purchase a dedicated IP address.
  12. Shell access is the ability to connect and use the terminal on the server to run commands. Usually its advertised as SSH access. Heliohost does not offer this for security reasons.
  13. That may be the case on other hosts, but on Heliohost the servers are configured to show the queued page for any domain that's not configured. What you are seeing is normal.
  14. Any time you add a domain in cpanel, you need to wait 24 hours for it to start working. If there's a lot of load, it sometimes takes even longer (up to 48 hours in a some cases).
  15. Sounds like port 2082 is blocked. As you discovered, using cPanel through a URL that uses port 80 should work if a firewall is the issue.
  16. It hasn't been changed yet. The address you posted is the default IP for a Stevie account. I'm not sure what Stevie's IP for China is, but it won't be that one. Krydos will probably post here when he changes it for you.
  17. If you used your own domain name during signup, you don't have a .heliohost.org subdomain. If you want one now, you can use this script to change your main domain to a something.heliohost.org address. As for needing a heliohost.org subdomain to get Java, I'm not sure if it's a requirement or not.
  18. Qtbee.tk is showing a database error for me. If you still see the queued page, please clear your cache. The database error is being generated by whatever software you're using for that domain.
  19. You're only allowed one account unless you have permission for two (usually one each on Stevie and Johnny). If you are using two accounts as you say, odds are they'll both end up suspended at some point. Also, you can host more than one site on a single account, so you could host both sites on your account.
  20. Since it's now your main domain, it's already attached to your account. You don't need to add it as an add-on domain. If you see a queued page on your domain, wait until it goes away before you do anything else. After the queued page goes away, you should see whatever is in public_html. Once it is working, if you want to change your main domain back and re-add it as an add-on domain, you can do so, but it's not required.
  21. Who is your registrar? I'd guess registro.br or a company with a similar backwards policy that requires Heliohost be configured first. We normally require that the registrar be configured first. Try setting your account's main domain to your domain (felipeladrao.com.br) using this script: http://www.heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/domain After that, wait several hours (up to 24 may be needed), then try to set your name servers at your registrar.
  22. Stevie and that site are both working fine. Try a browser that's on a different network such as a smartphone on cellular or a friend's PC. If it works from there, your IP is blocked by the firewall. An admin can check and unblock you if needed.
  23. It works fine without the www for me. Have you tried clearing your cache?
