  1. You can move to tommy if you wish, but you'll need to start over again like you did to move from Stevie. If you wish to do this, post the domains/username again so Byron or krydos can remove them. Stevie backups can be had from http://heliohost.org/backup/, Johnny data we don't know since the crash hasn't been fully investigated yet, let alone an attempt made to recover anything. Depending on the cause of the crash, it might or might not result in you losing your data. It's basically Stevie all over again. Actual repair time if its a hardware failure would probably be weeks to months, while a software issue might be just a few days since those are typically fixable remotely. We're all waiting to hear from krydos on the Johnny crash at this point.

    Tommy Accounts

I see an active tommy account with username nvestor (no i). Try logging in or resetting your password at this link http://tommy.heliohost.org:2083/
  3. He'll be around when he can. He's been busy lately, so you'll need to give it some time.
  4. mirandat has it. You can't change a password on a server that isn't working.
  5. You need to buy it first from a registrar (any major registrar will be able to sell it). Once you own it, you need to set its nameservers to ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org. After that, you can use it here. Nyten's instructions explain how to add it to your account.

    Tommy Accounts

see http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/27132-2017-01-05/ Just to add, this is the reason we opened Tommy signups. Krydos hasn't looked at Charlie (Johnny's host server) closely since he's been busy, but he said the errors given to him from an HE tech suggest hardware failure (again), hence why we say it may be a while before we get Johnny running again. If that's the case, we got 6-8 years of operation with zero hardware maintenance from Stevie and Charlie...not at all a bad run for either of 'em. Both are overdue to be re-disked.
  7. Yes. I removed it because you asked (and thought it was your Paypal email address). We can remove it again once its resent.
  8. Email address has been removed from the post. Krydos can get it from Paypal for the invite.
  9. If you want, you can actually just go ahead and install the certificates. You don't need a dedicated IP anymore for SSL.

Yes. Johnny crashed...when a server is down, you cannot log in or use anything in your account. http://heliohost.grd.net.pl/monitor/
  11. This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
  12. If I visit the clchazleton.org domain or your subdomain, I get an internal server error. It's probably not updating because the software you use is broken. Search engines won't typically index stuff that returns a 500 error... Your first step here should be to fix that 500 error. Once the site is working from both domains, tell it to reindex and give it 2-3 months (Google may crawl it quickly, but often the data they get from crawling doesn't make its way into everything for some time...).
  13. Escalating...second one to ask this today. Not sure what we do for this...as you probably know, normally it's one account per person, so I don't know how Krydos would make sure there's actually a second person here (wouldn't be the first time someone tried to make two accounts using this as the reason).
  14. Use FTP to see the .htaccess file. Otherwise, select Settings in the File Manager and check the option for "show hidden files (dotfiles)". I'd recommend adding it an alias in cPanel. It'll show the same content as the heliohost.org subdomain. If you really want it as your main domain, let me know and I can change it for you.
  15. Let's ask Krydos. Escalating.
  16. Johnny is currently not accepting new registrations while we fix his load issues. He crashed due to overloading yesterday: http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/27132-2017-01-05/
  17. It crashed due to load. See http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/27132-2017-01-05/
  18. mirandat's solution would work. Put the PHP file in the same folder as WordPress to be sure it uses the same version. For Tommy, you can also check in cPanel under Software->MultiPHP Manager. Look at the row for your domain, if it says inherit, it's using the default 5.6.
  19. Our Terms of Service limits users to one account unless we approve otherwise. If we do approve, the second account will need to be on a different server (Johnny for now, though in theory you could ask for a Stevie account instead if you wait until he's repaired). What's the reason you need a second account (please note that disk space is not an acceptable reason)?
  20. FileZilla has a hard time with Tommy and (new) Johnny because it tries FTPS by default (which for some reason doesn't work on every account...), so if you have trouble with leaving the port blank, try either port 21 (plain FTP, insecure) or SFTP (most secure) using the following instructions from Krydos:
  21. This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
  22. Krydos has been traveling lately, so he's not as active as he's been. He'll be around soon enough. Moved.
  23. Donate $1 or more here: https://heliohost.org/donate/ You'll get one sent to your Paypal/Skrill email address, usually within 24 hours (Krydos sends them manually). If you don't get it for some reason, post the transaction ID and we can resend it (to a different email if you prefer). Once you get it, you can use it any time of day, there's no waiting for registrations to open.
  24. See http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/27132-2017-01-05/?do=findComment&comment=124455 Server's suffering from excessive load. We're working on it.
  25. Johnny is seeing extreme load right now: http://heliohost.grd.net.pl/monitor/ It's been much of the day...
