  1. cPanel is designed to have an option to let you choose the theme, but Krydos disabled it for some reason. I know the older X themes could cause you to get stuck in them, but PL doesn't have that issue. There must be some other reason he disabled it. A bunch of users on here have asked for PL on their account lately, so it'd be nice to have the switcher added back (or at least have cP set up so a mod/support admin could do this...especially seeing that it's a cosmetic setting). Also, @paladox2014: Any chance you know something about syntax highlighting with mediawiki? Someone else needed help with that the other day: http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/23424-syntax-highlighting-in-mediawiki/
  2. Yeah, my site is custom too (though mine is actually written for 5.2 being made in 2011). I will tell you though that you'd be better off spending the time redoing it than putting up with the terrible performance on Johnny. Even when not crashed, Johnny's uptime is <80%...and slow when he's up. Is there really that much in your site's code that can't run on 5.3? I've seen very few things made for 5.4 that couldn't be made to work with 5.3...
  3. You can't. Gotta wait until he comes back up. Good idea! But Stevie has only PHP 5.3, but I need at least 5.4 :(/> Try an older version of whatever program you're using. Most things have a version that runs on 5.3.
  4. Glad to see you figured it out Let us know if you need anything else
  5. Your account was suspended for causing high server load. I have unsuspended your account, but please try to limit the load you put on our servers as it slows down not only your site, but the sites of all other HelioHost users sharing your server. If you still see the suspended page, please clear your cache.
  6. They shouldn't get dropped. Just gotta wait until he comes back up to get them. If you look at the historical data on the monitor, you can see the Stevie vs. Johnny performance comparison: http://heliohost.grd.net.pl/monitor/ The only time I recommend Johnny is if you really need the features he has. We're also in the process of setting up a new server that will offer Johnny's features with Stevie's performance levels. Soon enough it'll be possible to have the best of both worlds.
  7. I'm wondering the same thing. Johnny is terrible at uptime, but he's not usually this bad. I'd recommend once he comes back online that you back everything up and move to Stevie. Stevie has much better performance and uptime than Johnny.
  8. You were suspended for inactivity. I renewed it for you. In the future, you can renew it yourself here: heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/renew
  9. It currently is not. I do know that port 51990 is open outbound on Stevie since I use it for monitoring my minecraft server. Your website will be able to reach your game server if you set the game server to serve on that port instead of 27015 (and modify the website to connect to the game server using that port). I don't know of anything other than that one and the "normal" ports that's open though. Give that a shot once you get a Stevie account. If that doesn't work for some reason, let me know what your Stevie username is and I'll escalate this to see if we can get 27015 open for you on Stevie.
  10. Kinda figured. I'll wait until Johnny is back up, then delete it for you. Thinking about deletion, I don't want to try deleting while he's down since you could end up with a half-deleted account.
  11. Delete your account and sign up again. www.heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/delete You may not be able to do it while he's down though. Try and see. If it fails, let me know and I'll delete it for you. Stevie only allows a limited number of signups per day. If he's already reached his limit for the day, it will reset at midnight Pacific Time.
  12. Looks like Johnny's been down for ~15 hours or so...crashed? (Or maybe DDoS? Stevie is definitely bouncing this morning as he does when being attacked). http://heliohost.grd.net.pl/monitor/
  13. Glad to see you figured it out. And yes, you must type the username in all lowercase for it to work. Let us know if you need anything else
  14. It's already supported, an admin just needs to turn it on for you.
  15. You're on Johnny...he's down again. Looks like he may have crashed actually...he's been down for 6 hours: http://heliohost.grd.net.pl/monitor/ I recommend anything that needs good performance (as something like this would) be hosted on Stevie instead anyway, where you'll get ~99% up time and good speeds. Also, until you configure the game server on a port we allow, and modify your scripts to use that port, anything you run on your hosting account will not be able to communicate with the game server. We allow all standard web ports (21, 80,443,8080), the ports used for email services, and possibly those for cPanel (2082 and 2096, but I've never tested using these for such purposes).
  16. To add to yashrs, you already requested to keep okelapak. If we unsuspend this, okelapak will be resuspended.
  17. Both domains work fine for me, so it's got to be on your end. Try clearing your cache and using another browser. If it still doesn't work, try another Internet connection (e.g. A cell phone using its data plan). Let me know the results if you still have trouble.
  18. Stevie is working normally. It's possible you're blocked in the firewall, but I don't see the IP you posted from on the list. Are you able to log into cPanel? What is your cPanel username, your main domain, and the affected domain (if different from the main domain)?
  19. We generally don't open ports. Instead, we recommend that you reconfigure the game server to run on a standard port like 80 or 443. Is there a reason you can't do this?
  20. The only other user I know of who both uses it and posts here is paladox2014, one of our regular users. Haven't seen him around lately though... Based on this: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Installation_requirements Mediawiki should (mostly) work...it's the things that need either SSH (maintenance scripts/upgrades) or special server features that are incompatible. We meet the requirements for the main functionality. We do not provide any of the optional items except for ImageMagick and sendmail. Also, the VisualEditor and Scribunto extensions for MediaWiki are not supported.
  21. This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
  22. Johnny likes to take 4-7 days to set up domains due to being overloaded. You created it 2 days ago, so give it some time.

We recommend that users do not use WordPress due to these issues. If you do though, always update everything regularly, and avoid "free" extensions and themes from random websites. Most such free themes and extensions from dubious websites are actually malware or backdoors. We typically give users one chance to fix spam, however if you are suspended for spam again, you will not be unsuspended a second time. Are you ready to fix the issue?
  25. Do not bump posts. I'm not sure what features you refer to, but if it's a system-wide Administration function, it's likely disabled intentionally. If it's part of your program, your paths are likely wrong. (If you're working on Byron's demo, I wouldn't be surprised if the files are just missing since its a demo). As for python version, change your shebang line to specify the version you need: Python versions and paths below are for Stevie users: /usr/local/bin/python2.7 /usr/local/bin/python2.4 /usr/local/bin/python3.2 You would get better help with django itself on a programming board as opposed to here. Though we support other languages, most of us are PHP programmers. Also, have you considered developing in PHP instead? You'll find it a lot easier to get a PHP program running on our servers than a django/python one.
