  1. You need to use explicit FTP over TLS. Our servers do not support implicit FTP over TLS.
  2. New versions of cPanel require all domains to be inside public_html by default. Krydos can change that though. This user also asked for this same restriction to be removed on his account: http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/26744-johnny-subdomains/?hl=public_html
  3. The new cPanel forces you to put stuff inside public_html by default, so it'd need to be /home/feeldumb/public_html/honeywebph/www/. It sounds like your request is that you want to use folders outside of public_html as the root for your other domains...there's a setting Krydos can change to allow that I think...
  4. They probably are if you uploaded the entire contents of your backups... Try creating an empty database, then using PhpMyAdmin to import the .sql files.
  5. I've never heard of that client, and seeing nobody else is reporting this issue, I suspect the client is broken, not the server. Can you try a different client on your Android, or (preferably) a PC with a common client like FileZilla when you get a chance?
  6. That sounds like a firewall issue or something. My client (Filezilla 3.22) works fine in passive mode (or at least it claims to be in passive mode, I don't see a PASV command being sent though). Does active mode work for you?
  7. Googling suggests the fact it allowed this may actually have been a bug in an old version of cPanel. As Krydos said, the behavior you're seeing is by design. The subdomain is required. My account on Stevie had a bunch of subdomains exactly because of this. If you're really worried about people using the subdomain to access the content, you can always write scripts to detect it and redirect them to the proper domain...
  8. Maybe Krydos has some ideas on why FTPS acts up for you (bad FTP client maybe?). As far as I'm aware we haven't had other reports of it malfunctioning on Tommy though. Escalating.
  9. What server are you on, and what is your username?
  10. I've personally never noticed an issue in tommy. Johnny though...I have to use sftp or plain FTP to even connect. Have you tried unencrypted FTP?
  11. Seeing the first account can't be unsuspended, you're better off changing the domain in the second one and using it.
  12. Someone else had a suspension for the same reason yesterday. Escalating.
  13. @bdistler: Byron or Krydos needs to remove that domain on our end. The "You must remove this DNS entry" message is always a root admin fix. You are right though, his domain is also currently pointed to 000's servers, so even when a root admin fixes it, it still won't work until he follows your instructions and adds the domain.
  14. @luanfrj: Split to http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/27015-move-to-johnny/
  15. Moved to customer service.
  16. User PM'd information. Added to http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/26930-manual-backup-master-list/
  17. What is your username and part of the email address? I can send it manually.
  18. Krydos must've been busy yesterday. None of the escalated stuff got look at either. We're all volunteers after all, so we do this as time allows, and its a holiday week in the USA too. I'll move this to escalated so he'll remember to check it EDIT: Just an update: Krydos said he's travelling yesterday and today, so it may take an extra day or so for him to respond.
  19. What is your account's username?
  20. I've escalated this, it might be possible for Krydos or Byron to change this to x3 for your account even though the option is missing. For a while the old Johnny required a request for paper_lantern...
  21. Johnny's poor performance/downtime is completely normal due to us offering more features than any other server and not restricting resource usage as much as on Tommy. In addition, Johnny's hardware (Charlie) is also much older and has significantly lower specifications than Tommy. Johnny has always had terrible performance in the 6 years I've been here, so that's nothing new. Johnny is also intended as an experimental server, though in recent times he's been used by many for production sites despite performance issues due to a lack of other working servers. I don't know what actually causes this specific suspension though, so we'll have to wait for krydos.
  22. Tommy supports x3, but Johnny doesn't for some reason...
  23. You're suspended for a root symlink. I'm not sure if Krydos can fix these or if we even unsuspend or not... Escalating.
  24. Sometimes it doesn't send or gets blocked as spam. I just manually resent it to you. Please check the sbcglobal email for a message with a subject of "Account Backup".
