  1. Many people do. The problem is that a lot of botnets also use it, and until we turned it off, we had a lot of criminals hosting panels for their botnets here. We didn't want that sort of stuff hanging around. We also had a lot of users who would run pirated/nulled software with it, so turning it off mostly fixed our copyright infringement problem as well.
  2. You'll need to install an older version of Moodle. Barracuda is a feature of a newer version of MySQL that we don't run, and as a result it's not supported. It's apparently a very common complaint with Moodle. Even big-name companies like GoDaddy can't run it because of this very non-standard requirement. Moodle is the only program I'm aware of that uses this odd mysql format, and since most hosting providers don't support it, you might be better off finding other software so you don't end up stuck with obsolete versions. We likely can't upgrade MySQL easily due to cPanel limitations and the risk of breaking everything, but I'll let Krydos advise on that.
  3. It appears to be running already: http://tommy.heliohost.org:8080/ Is there a specific reason that you need this restarted?
  4. Unblocked. It was for failed cPanel logins, so I would suggest checking that your password is correct.
  5. Did you change your file permissions? If you upload your own files, you need to make sure the permissions on them are set to 644. All folders inside of public_html (but not public_html itself) should be 755. When you upload, the folders are usually 775 and the files are 664 by default (note that center number!) and need to be changed. Apache does not like files and folders being writable by the group.
  6. Done. You should now be able to log in and your website should be working again.
  7. Let's see what Krydos can do for you.
  8. What version of php do you need it enabled on? Also, be aware that using ffmpeg has been historically known to cause high load suspensions. Converting videos uses a massive amount of resources, which slows everyone else's site down. Use too many and you'll end up suspended for load. We generally recommend not doing video conversion here.
  9. This is intentionally disabled due to abuse and cannot be installed. Please find different software.
  10. You probably need to change engines to InnoDB. We default to Myisam because it tolerates load and crashes very well. InnoDB basically goes corrupt if you so much as look at it wrong.
  11. There is not. You have to ask on the forums and Krydos has to check it for you if you want to know.
  12. It's because your account is full...
  13. Please change your domain's name servers to ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org.
  14. The domain hitchwind.com has been cleaned up. Try it again now.
  15. Unblocked. It was for failed ftp logins, which would make sense if you tried signing in while suspended.
  16. Usually by debugging or reconfiguring the software (or replacing it if not possible). I escalated this because Krydos can tell you what files were responsible, which will let you know where to start looking.
  17. Causing high server load. 248% more cpu than #2. Ouch. Let's have Krydos identify the cause of this so you know how to fix it before we unsuspend it. We don't want that happening again.
  18. Nope. If you're seeing the hello world you uploaded, it's working. Now you just need to build some content...
  19. This account has already been cancelled. If you would like to reopen your account, please post an email address and I'll be happy to send you an invitation for a new one.
  20. Your account has been cancelled. If you ever want to use our service in the future, you are always welcome to sign up again. We're sorry to hear that we weren't able to provide the services you needed. Thank you for your interest in HelioHost.
  21. Yeah, Ricky and Johnny really aren't suitable for production use due to severe overloading. You pretty much have to be on tommy at this point. Getting into tommy usually requires a donation these days due to demand, but since you mentioned you might try tommy, would you be interested in a trial account? I can give you 3 days on tommy to decide if it would work for you. If it does, you can donate and keep the account forever, or if not, we can cancel it at that time. Do you want me to move you to tommy for a trial? If not, I'll be happy to close your account for you.
  22. That account cannot be unarchived at the moment because Johnny is down again. We'll try again later.
  23. That was abusive use, and two people did get suspended for it. The problem is that when the load is massively high like that, it can take a significant amount of time for the suspension script to actually work. On a normal day, suspending an account takes 30s-1m. When buried in load, that process can take an hour or more. Then there's the fact it's not always just one user needing suspension. Most of the downtime period is the time spent actually doing the work to suspend the user. Once that process reaches the point where it kills all the user's processes, that's when the account no longer produces any load, and the server load starts to return to normal. The give away of a severe high load incident on that chart is the almost instant cutoff from green to red where it goes down, followed by the load tapering from red back to green over a few minutes at the end of the event (as the abusive processes die).
  24. You probably tried signing in when tommy was down last night. He was down quite a bit last night due to what appears to be high load but is now back up. http://heliohost.grd.net.pl/monitor/
