[Solved] Account Unsuspended Request
KazVee replied to lastijo350's topic in Suspended and Queued Accounts
Your account was indeed suspended for high server load: 100.74 GB memory. The sudden drop in the graph is when the suspension happened. Node apps are pretty demanding on server resources, so we recommend making sure that your Node app uses Passenger, which is a feature on the servers designed to reduce account load. If you build your Node app in the same way as the example app in our Wiki tutorial (https://wiki.helionet.org/tutorials/node.js), it will automatically use Passenger. You can also monitor your site load within your account dashboard here: https://heliohost.org/dashboard/load/ I've unsuspended your account, it may need a few minutes to get back up and working again. -
I've added those domains to your account. Please note that it can take up to 2 hours for them to fully work. If after 2 hours they don't work on your side, please make sure you clear your web browser cache: https://wiki.helionet.org/misc/clear-your-cache In the meantime, please either: Point your domain to the HelioHost nameservers: `ns1.heliohost.org` and `ns2.heliohost.org`, or Create an A record and point it to the IP address for the server you're on. You can find the IP address to use inside Plesk > Websites & Domains > [domain name] > and check at the bottom of the page. Please let us know if we can help with anything else. 🙂

I'm assuming you meant with the `helioho.st` ending, same as your initial one had. 🙂 I've made the domain change now for you, but please note that it can take up to 2 hours to be fully working. If after 2 hours, it doesn't work on your side, please make sure you clear your web browser cache: https://wiki.helionet.org/misc/clear-your-cache Please let us know if we can help with anything else.

I've reset your account and you should receive an email shortly so you can take the next steps to recreate it.I made a backup before the reset, so if you discover you need your old files, you can download the backup here: https://heliohost.org/backup If you're not sure how to extract the backup files, we have a how-to document in our Wiki here: https://wiki.helionet.org/tutorials/plesk/account-backupsPlease let us know if you need help with anything else. 🙂

[Solved] Add my Domain to my heliohost control panel
KazVee replied to msbsurfi's topic in Customer Service
I've added that domain for you. Please note that it can take up to 2 hours to be fully working. If after 2 hours, it doesn't work on your side, please make sure you clear your web browser cache: https://wiki.helionet.org/misc/clear-your-cache In the meantime, please either: Point your domain to the HelioHost nameservers: `ns1.heliohost.org` and `ns2.heliohost.org`, or Create an A record and point it to the IP address for the Johnny server. You can see the IP address to use inside Plesk > Websites & Domains > [domain name] > and check at the bottom of the page. For WordPress, even a brand new site with no visitors can be at risk of exceeding the hosting limits, because of things like bot attacks. Your intention of converting it to a static site before publishing it is a good one, and much less likely to cause your account any load issues. Doing this is one of the recommendations we have on our WordPress help page at https://wiki.helionet.org/misc/wordpress and there's some other guidance there too that you may find helpful. If you're the only person who will be using the dynamic site, you might want to consider running it on your local machine only. Once the site has been set up how you want it on your local machine, you can then convert it to a static site before you publish/deploy it. This would reduce the risk of exceeding the account load limits on the shared hosting. -
Our multiple account detection system suspended your account because it thinks you may have more than one account. The first line in our Terms of Service (https://wiki.helionet.org/hosting/terms) mentions that each person is allowed to have one account. Is daneesv the account you want to keep?

This user asked in Discord as they hadn't noticed the reply on the forum. I relayed the above guidance to them, but they kept trying to access with their mobile, not sure if they had access to a Desktop system or not. What resolved it this time for this one specific user was to select the `Desktop site` option inside their version of Chrome on mobile, so I'll mark this thread as [Solved] since the immediate problem is resolved. In experience the `Desktop site` option doesn't always work as expected on all sites, so it's not a great option but I guess it did the trick for now this time. 😄

I'm glad it's fixed now. I'll mark this thread as [Solved] but please let us know if we can help with anything else. 🙂

Glad it's working for you now! 🙂 Please be aware that WordPress is very demanding on the shared hosting resources, and is a common reason for people getting their accounts suspended. We've created a WordPress guidance page here which recommends ways to reduce the load caused by WordPress (but a better idea would really be to use a different software package in the first place): https://wiki.helionet.org/misc/wordpress We strongly recommend that you keep a close watch on the load being caused by your account here: https://heliohost.org/dashboard/load/ If you notice your account load is climbing and become concerned about your account server usage load getting you suspended, you can add "deny from all" to the bottom of your .htaccess file to take the site offline. Once that's been done, the site should stop generating load practically instantly. I'll close this thread as [Solved] since the initial 404 problem seems fixed, but please let us know if you have trouble with anything else.

Your account was suspended for High server load: 101.66 GB memory. On Johnny and Tommy, we enforce a memory limit of no more than 100 GB per day and a limit of 10,000 CPU usage per day. If you exceed those amounts you will get suspended. You can read more about the account load limits here: https://wiki.helionet.org/accounts/suspension-policy#high-server-usage You can keep an eye on your account load here: https://heliohost.org/dashboard/load/ and if you are not sure what caused the high load, let us know what software you are using (WordPress and Node apps are frequent causes for high server usage, for example), and we can try to recommend ways to lower the server resources being used by your account. I have unsuspended your account now. Please fix the problem quickly, since if you do not change your code, it's very likely your account will get suspended again.

Please do not create multiple posts for the same issue. I've merged both your posts now. I also notice you asked in the Discord chat, where yesterday one of the root admins told you they'd deleted a folder to make room on your account. For future reference, if 1000 MB isn't enough storage space for you, it possible to donate to increase your storage space, up to 6000 MB max. You can find more info on that here: https://wiki.helionet.org/accounts/donation-increase-storage I'll mark this as [Solved] since you were helped on Discord but please let us know if you still have any trouble. 🙂

I've added the subdomains for you. Please note that it can take up to 2 hours for the domains to be fully working. If after 2 hours they don't work on your side, please make sure you clear your web browser cache: https://wiki.helionet.org/misc/clear-your-cache Please let us know if we can help with anything else. 🙂

You can view a list of all the currently installed modules on Tommy's Python 3.12 here, and it seems that Pytz version 2024.2 is already installed but please let us know if you need a different version of it. https://krydos1.heliohost.org/pyinfo/info3.12.py This support request is being escalated to our root admins.

There's no HelioHost account associated to the same email address attached to your forum account. When I check your post history to check your HelioHost account name, I notice that the only email address associated with the account is an email attached to the HelioHost account itself. This means that if I reset the account now, the email invite to recreate your account will be sent to the newly reset account, which you won't have email set up on. So you'll never receive the invite email to recreate your account. Please update your HelioHost account so there's an external (gmail, hotmail, etc.) email address on there, and let us know when that's been done. Then, we can do the reset on your account and you'll actually be able to receive the email invite to recreate your account. Thanks!

[Solved] Account Suspended By accident

Accounts are not suspended "randomly". Please do not create multiple posts for the same issue. I've merged both your posts into this one. This support request is being escalated to our root admins. -

Hello! The fix for the ability to add aliases is still being worked on, but for the time being I've done the same as we did last time: I've added it as a subdomain for you, which has its own document root. You'll need to put an .htaccess in there to redirect it to the target domain. Your new sudomain may take up to 2 hours to be fully working. If after 2 hours, it doesn't work on your side, please make sure you clear your web browser cache: https://wiki.helionet.org/misc/clear-your-cache Please let us know if we can help with anything else. 🙂

Hello and welcome! To use that domain with us, first you'd need to request that we change the domain on your account, since that's not something users can do themselves yet. I've changed the domain for you now, so that part is done. 🙂 Next, to host your site with us, you can either create an A record and point it to us, or you can use our nameservers. Since your screenshot shows nameservers (NS), that's probably most straightforward to do. I've never used Tenten before but I googled to find a help page that should show you how to enter in the details: https://help.tenten.vn/huong-dan-cau-hinh-nameserver-o-tenten/ Their guidance says to enter the web address of your site in the `Name` field. Then, create NS records, NS1 will be `ns1.heliohost.org` and NS2 will be `ns2.heliohost.org`. Give that a try and let us know if you have any trouble. The other way to do it would be to create an A record and point it to the IP address for the Johnny server. You can see the IP address to use inside Plesk > Websites & Domains > [domain name] > and check at the bottom of the page.

I do not offer a pager service. DNS records are not something I can edit. All staff members are volunteers. You can read more about request ETAs here: https://wiki.helionet.org/hosting/repair-times I volunteer my time helping on the forum when I have free time and when it's fun for me to do so. Pinging me unnecessarily makes it not fun for me to spend my free time on the forum. Please don't do it again, thanks!
