Update: Looks like Krydos resolved the issue with adding the domain, I see it on your account now. 🙂 Please note that it may take up to 2 hours for the domain change to take effect, and it will not work until you set up your DNS with your domain registrar. To configure your DNS, please see the steps provided on our Wiki to either set NS records pointed at the HelioHost nameservers, or create A/AAAA records and point them to your server's IPv4/IPv6 address: https://wiki.helionet.org/Addon_Domains#Custom_Addon_Domains If after a full 2 hours it doesn't work on your side, please make sure you clear your web browser cache: https://wiki.helionet.org/Clear_Your_Cache

Yes, the Johnny server allows up to 5 domains. If you need more than that, you could upgrade your account to the Tommy server, which allows up to 10 domains. If you need even more domains, your next upgrade option would be the Morty server, where you can have up to 15 domains on a single Morty account. On Morty, you can have more than 1 account too, so if you make 2 Morty accounts, you can host 30 domains, etc. You could also upgrade to a VPS which also allows for multiple domains to be hosted, once you set up the DNS. There was an issue when I tried to add the domain, but it's being worked on. Once added, an admin will post here to confirm it's been added for you.

I've removed that domain from your account. Please note there is a risk of data loss when domains are removed, since the folder for the domain inside Plesk will be deleted. I made a full account backup for you before I removed the domain, in case you need any of the old files. You can download the backup here: https://heliohost.org/backup If you're not sure how to extract the backup files, please follow our how-to guide here: https://wiki.helionet.org/Account_Backups Please note that your forum email address is currently attached to an email address on that domain, so unless you set up emal for the domain elsewhere, you will not be able to receive emails relating to your forum account, such as any message notifications or password resets you may need.

I've added that domain for you, it will take up to 2 hours to fully work. Make sure to set your DNS to use HelioHost's nameservers (ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org) or create A/AAAA records on your domain registrar's dashboard.

It looks like dtfj was able to change their email address themselves, since when I check now the email address on the account is the non-institutional email address they wanted to change it to. 🙂 I've removed both email addresses from their post for privacy and data protection, and I'll mark this as [Solved].

Hello! I've reset your account as requested. You should receive an email shortly so you can take the next steps to recreate it. I made a backup before the reset, so if you discover you need any of your old files, you can download the backup here: https://heliohost.org/backup If you're not sure how to extract the backup files, please follow our how-to guide here: https://wiki.helionet.org/Account_Backups Your next free account reset will be available on: June 14 2026. I also wanted to mention that if you didn't want to wait a week for the next free reset (if you need one), there's also a way to reset your account yourself by deleting it and recreating it. This way will start you off with a fresh account, the same as a reset does. We have the steps listed in our Wiki here, if you're interested: https://wiki.helionet.org/FAQ#Free_Self-Serve_Account_Resets_(with_Account_Delete/Account_Recreate) If you decide to give it a try next time and run into any trouble, please don't hesitate to let us know! 🙂

Hello! Sorry that the link didn't work for you, it loads fine for me. What the page explains is the below: On the Morty, Tommy, and Johnny shared hosting accounts, the PHP memory_limit and max_execution_time are intentionally limited to prevent excessive load to all users on the server. If you need these values increased, it's likely you will need a VPS. We offer a range of VPS plans starting at only $4 a month, with storage options from 50 GB to 300 GB, and a 10% discount when you pay for six months upfront. Therefore the PHP memory_limit on Morty cannot be changed, and it's likely you will need a VPS. If you would like to move to a VPS and discuss any options available to move your Morty account balance to your VPS, please let us know. A root admin can advise you further on the financial options possible. Thanks!
-
Hello! If you are asking for the PHP memory_limit to be changed, please have a look at the information about what PHP config limits can be changed in our technical documentation Wiki on this page: https://wiki.helionet.org/PHP#PHP_Configuration_Limits If you are asking for another type of memory limit to be increased, please can you provide more details about what it is you're asking for? Thanks!

Since you have chosen to remove your duplicate account with username clabur19 as confirmed in this thread (https://helionet.org/index/topic/68138-request-add-domain/#findComment-302810), there's no point troubleshooting the account being closed due to violating our terms of service. Please read the Terms of Service to ensure you follow them from this point forward: https://heliohost.org/terms/ If you encounter the error with your other account (username: clab), please open a new request thread. Thanks!

[Solved] Request To Change Main Domain Name | techjohnrel
KazVee replied to techjohnrel's topic in Customer Service
I've changed the main domain on your account for you. Please note that it may take up to 2 hours for your new domain to fully work. If after a full 2 hours it doesn't work on your side, please make sure you clear your web browser cache: https://wiki.helionet.org/Clear_Your_Cache Please note there is a risk of data loss when main domains are changed, so I made a full backup for you before I made the changes, in case you need any files from the old domain. You can download the backup here: https://heliohost.org/backup If you're not sure how to extract the backup files, please follow our how-to guide here: https://wiki.helionet.org/Account_Backups- 1 reply

I've unsuspended your account. Please allow your account up to 2 hours to fully reinstate. If you're using Wordpress, please be aware that WP is one of the main causes of account suspension. We have more information on how to try to mitigate WP's high account load on our technical documentation wiki page here: https://wiki.helionet.org/WordPress

24 hours... 😓 Well, now we know if someone else has trouble with git, I guess! Glad it's all sorted out! 🙂
-
Oh, I see. I saw the "Deploying files to hotel.helioho.st" message and since that's the domain that was just added, I thought you'd tried again since the changes without waiting 2 hours. Since there doesn't seem to be a way to stop or reset the git queue, it may be that you'll need to wait for it to timeout. But this is just a guess and I have no idea how long the timeout might take. The nuclear option could be to try an account reset. And then once the account is recreated wait the full 2 hours and try the git integration again. It's up to you if you want to try that. I was able to import your git repo to my own test account so that part seems to be working fine in Plesk.
-
It looks like you didn't wait a full 2 hours since the domain was added to try to deploy files so it, so that can explain why you got unexpected results. When we add domains, we explain that it may take up to 2 hours for your new domain to fully work. This is because domain changes need an Apache restart, and those happen every 2 hours. I was able to follow the same steps you're using and import and deploy a test repo, so it doesn't look like you're doing anything wrong there.
