Yes, we can host wordpress sites. Once you have it installed you can edit the files directly with filemanager or sftp. I agree that the most likely case here is your computer is infected with malware.

I've seen that domain subfolder before. I think it has something to do with ftp that creates it. I'm not completely sure because it's never happened to any of my accounts. You can safely delete it or ignore it. Whichever you feel like doing. It certainly isn't hurting anyone by being there.
