  1. Are you able to send your backups off to remote FTP now?

    Tommy Tantrum

Thanks for reporting it. It should be fixed now.
  3. Here are your options: Configure the remote FTP client to use a passive port that is already open in our firewall. Best solution! We make an exception for a specific IP address that is running the remote FTP server. Second best solution! We open 40,000 or so outbound ports in the firewall. Worst solution! Definitely not going to happen.

    Tommy Tantrum

Last night Tommy threw a little tantrum because Morty is getting all the attention lately. It's ok, Tommy. We still love you. First the main Tommy IP address stopped routing correctly, then when that was fixed Apache and Nginx broke, and then while we were repairing that MariaDB started having issues as well. Everything should be more or less working now, but there may be a few things you need to do to get your website back online. Known Issue #1) When we run the repair tool on Apache and Nginx it always messes up most of the SSL certificates. This should fix itself after a day or two, but you can speed the process by reissuing the certificate manually. We even have a guide to help you located at https://wiki.helionet.org/common-errors/ssl-certificate Known Issue #2) A lot of the MariaDB passwords and permissions got messed up as well. This is not something that is going to resolve itself. So if you're having trouble connecting to PHPMyAdmin or your website is giving database connection errors you'll need to follow the guide we have located at https://wiki.helionet.org/common-errors/phpmyadmin-mariadb-access-denied Let us know if you notice anything else broken, or you have trouble with either of the guides above.
  5. Glad everything seems to be working now. Going to mark this as solved again. Let us know if you notice anything else acting strangely.
  6. Your subscription has been canceled, and you won't be billed again. Thanks for using our VPS service.
  7. Since MongoDB port 27017 is a default port it has been opened on Johnny, Tommy, and Morty for future users who also want to connect to Mongo databases.
  8. Yeah, this is a strange side effect of transferring accounts from one server to another on our ancient DNS system, that will be upgraded before much longer. Once the DNS system is updated users will be able to edit, create, and delete DNS records themselves through Plesk. In the meantime, all accounts transferred have a patch that re-adds the www cname.
  9. The modules have been installed on Tommy's Python 3.12. You can see the current list of installed modules at https://krydos1.heliohost.org/pyinfo/info3.12.py
  10. Ok, try it again now.
  11. Unsuspended. As long as you and your friend don't log in to your account from the same computer it will be fine.
  12. Does it work now?
  13. WSGI control access has been enabled on the domain sportcounter.helioho.st. To restart your Flask app and load new code changes in simply edit /home/sportcounter.helioho.st/httpdocs/sport_counter/flask.wsgi. Adding a blank line, removing a blank line, adding a space, or removing a space are examples of editing the file. As long as the last modified timestamp changes it will clear the server cache. Let us know if you run into any issues.
  14. I was able to find your donation, and have begun transferring your account to Tommy. You'll receive a second email in a bit when the transfer has finished.
  15. The fact that you're surprised that deleting a directory would make it not exist anymore is a red flag to me that you are pretty new to computers or even phones in general, and maybe you need something simpler like paper. Computers and the concept of deleting directories has only existed for the last 53 years or so. If you're interested in learning about how computers work we would be glad to help you learn. Your account has been deleted as requested. I'm not seeing any subscription. It looks like you signed up for a Tommy account for a one time donation of $1, not a subscription of any sort. The signup process is pretty simple, and explains in quite a bit of detail that you will only be charged once, and you can keep your account for as long as you want. We've never actually had anyone else fail to understand how a one-time donation for Tommy works, but if you have any suggestions on how to make it clearer we're willing to listen. Thanks for trying out our hosting service!
  16. Would it be possible for you and your friend to log in to your accounts from your personal computers or phones rather than using the same computer?
  17. So, you're saying your company only owns 1 computer?
  18. Why do you both use the same computer?
  19. Your VPS has been canceled and you won't be billed again. Thanks for using our VPS service.
  20. Check your dispatch.wsgi file. Let us know what packages you want installed.
  21. Your storage space has been increased by 1000 MB to 2000 MB total. Thanks for the donation.
  22. Remote access is already enabled for that database and user. Here is the values you should be using. host=65.19.154.90 port=5432 user=fudobi_admin_viaviva dbname=fudobi_viaviva password=<set in Plesk> I'm guessing you're using the wrong host.
  23. Experiment and let us know. The whole WSGI control access thing is pretty new so not that many people have tried it out yet.
  24. WSGI control access has been enabled on the domain anasbashir.helioho.st. To restart your Django app and load new code changes in simply edit /home/anasbashir.helioho.st/httpdocs/anas/dispatch.wsgi. Let us know if you run into any issues.
  25. WSGI control access has been enabled on the domain tumichal.helioho.st. To restart your Flask app and load new code changes in simply edit /home/tumichal.helioho.st/httpdocs/flasktest/flask.wsgi. Let us know if you run into any issues.
