  3. It's always possible you posted on this forum or tried to create your account from a public, shared domain, such as a library, school, or your job. If you want to create a new account I recommend doing so from your own personal internet connection that you pay for if at all possible, like from your home, so you can be sure of who else might be using your connection.
  4. Yeah, it's normal. It looks like your account was created successfully, and the nameservers and all that are set correctly. Just need to wait ~24 hours or so now.

    Both. The folder should be 755 by default, and each file you want to be able to execute inside the cgi-bin folder should have permissions of 755 too.
  6. First of all, each person is only allowed to have one account. Are you saying you created another account? mrmoha.heliohost.org does not exist in the database. It's a possibility that a bug causes it to still show in your cPanel, but also if you open mrmoha.heliohost.org in a browser it is still working and shows a directory index. I can see your main domain in the administrator panel and it is currently listed as fx1991.com I'm not sure what would happen if this field was set to blank. Perhaps a more experienced admin knows the answer to this. That is because fx1991.com is associated with the mrmoha account on stevie. Yes, but what is it you want us to do? It might be best at this point to delete all your accounts completely and start over with a new account so that way all these weird mixed up bits won't be so screwed up.

I have heard that the reason they have been charging for static IPs is because IPv4 doesn't have nearly enough possible addresses and the internet is basically out of IPs, as soon as everything gets switched over to IPv6 we will have essentially an unlimited number again and stuff like static IPs should become free again. We'll see. It's sometimes tough to get people to stop charging for things once they start. Just like it's tough to get governments to cut programs once they are created.
  8. Yeah, that was a little weird at first, but I stuck with it and now I love this browser. I can really appreciate the extra browser space of chrome on my laptop with a smaller screen too. It's really quite a waste of screen to have all sorts of bars and widgets and doohickeys and whatnot crowding all over your screen.

  11. The account beauchat is already fully deleted from the stevie server. The johnny server currently has 344 queued account to create which is down from about 400 last night so progress is being made, and soon we will be able to start accepting new accounts on johnny again.
  12. Back up to ~375. Johnny stopped creating new accounts again for a while, but it should be counting down again now.
  13. It's either your account is deleted or you gave the wrong account name, but aamsur2 does not exist in the database. Yes, you can create a new account if you wish and restore your backup onto the new account to restore your website. Just make sure you log in to cPanel at least once every thirty days to prevent your account from being deleted again. If you don't have a backup of your site there is nothing that can be done other than starting over because once an account is deleted there are no remaining traces on our servers.

Open the sioui.heliohost.org home page, then try to open another page. Click the Back button to try another link. The sioui.heliohost.org forum technical staff have been notified of the error, though you may contact them if the problem persists. We apologise for any inconvenience.
  16. I, and maybe byron too, were thinking that it looked like a code error connecting to the database, or maybe the database was changed and no longer works with the code.

  18. The reason you were unable to create a new account on Stevie is because there were still remnants of your Johnny account in the database. I am manually deleting those remnants and the process should be complete in a few minutes. Ok. The deletion has finished and you should now be able to create a new account on stevie.   25. Yes there is. If you try to create a new account with the same username as you are currently using and it hasn't deleted yet it will give an error saying that account name is already in use. You can also ask an admin if your account is fully deleted. As of the timestamp of this post your account is still active, and hasn't yet been queued for deletion. If you do decide to switch servers don't forget to back up everything on your current account first. There is no recovery once the account is deleted.
