[Solved] Delete VPS and Cancel Account
Krydos replied to vincent.maule's topic in Escalated Requests
The email address of this forum account, and the account you're requesting to be canceled don't match. While I'm fairly sure you are the person you are claiming to be, we need to have verification from the email address that was used to create the account in order to delete or rebuild a VPS. This is to prevent people from pretending to be you to delete your data. The easiest way to verify your email is to use the comcast address you listed above to send an email to support@heliohost.org requesting the cancel and delete. -
[Solved] Request WSGI Control Access
Krydos replied to flaviobattaglio's topic in Escalated Requests
WSGI control access has been enabled on the domain flaviobattaglio.helioho.st. To restart your Flask app and load new code changes in simply edit /home/flaviobattaglio.helioho.st/httpdocs/flasktest/flask.wsgi. Adding a blank line, removing a blank line, adding a space, or removing a space are examples of editing the file. As long as the last modified timestamp changes it will clear the server cache. Let us know if you run into any issues. -
[Solved] Your lack of activity function is broken
Krydos replied to whisdfkj's topic in Escalated Requests
We already discussed this on Discord, but you obviously can't run root shell commands on shared hosting. The VPS come with root access and you can signup at https://heliohost.org/vps/ -

[Solved] Help in suspended ac & problem with FTP

These old accounts have a lot of strange bugs. We could do a full backup for you and then reset your account back to the original empty state if you want. That would be the best way to clean out all of the old junk, and then you could restore the parts of your full backup that you actually need. -
The scheduled maintenance has finished and Johnny is back online.

We will be doing scheduled maintenance on Johnny starting in a few hours. We expect this to cause 15-60 minutes of downtime during which you won't be able to login to your Johnny account, access your website, access the databases, access SFTP, etc. Users on Tommy will not be affected at all. Our main website and forum will continue to operate as usual minus the ability to login to the dashboard for Johnny accounts. We will make another news post once this maintenance is complete.

I created a full backup of your account that you can download from https://heliohost.org/backup/ if you need it. Here is the instructions for extracting your data https://wiki.helionet.org/tutorials/plesk/account-backups I reset your account, and the next step is to click the link in the email I just sent you. Let us know if you need help with anything else.

[Solved] ENABLING REMOTE ACCESS TO DATABASES
Krydos replied to fdevillalobos's topic in Escalated Requests
Remote access enabled. host=65.19.141.67 port=5432 username=fdevillalobos_admin_delirante dbname=fdevillalobos_delirante password=<set in Plesk> Neither of these exist, but the ones listed below were similar so I assume that's what you meant. host=65.19.141.67 port=5432 username=fdevillalobos_admin_strange dbname=fdevillalobos_strange password=<set in Plesk> -
Since you got suspended again right away I took another look at your account. Yesterday when I decided that you deleted all your files it was because I looked in httpdocs which is where Plesk puts your main domain. I didn't realize that you still had an old cPanel transfer account which has your main domain in public_html. The public_html has a wiki installed at the w directory that is getting hammered by spam bots. Here is the number of requests that each IP has made to your wiki. 7980 54.218.130.248 8001 217.113.194.172 8342 217.113.194.167 8345 195.113.118.51 8642 34.220.150.232 9719 217.113.194.173 9738 217.113.194.175 9751 217.113.194.169 11330 217.113.194.162 11749 217.113.194.161 15066 52.25.169.122 22307 47.76.35.19 24910 54.189.117.42 32794 90.180.247.237 96655 54.218.254.11 No human has viewed your wiki 96k times. I recommend doing a full reset to restore your account back to the default settings. The old cPanel accounts have a lot of bugs so we always recommend a reset when someone has an issue with their account. We can make a full backup for you prior to wiping it in case you need something from your old account.

If you think someone else accessed your account I recommend changing your passwords and doing a malware scan of your computers.

You were suspended due to high load from PHP. Since you deleted all the files you would know why you were suspended better than me.

[Solved] Request to set up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
Krydos replied to n747mm's topic in Escalated Requests
DKIM, SPF, and DMARC have been set up for the domain n747mm.heliohost.org. We recommend sending a test email to https://www.mail-tester.com/ to make sure that everything is set up correctly. If you get less than a 10/10 score please post a link to the full report so we can help you fix any other issues that there may be. -
[Solved] Please restart my VPS ASAP (VPS82)

WSGI control access has been enabled on the domain bluelephant.xyz. To restart your Flask app and load new code changes in simply edit /home/bluelephant.xyz/httpdocs/flasktest/flask.wsgi or /home/bluelephant.xyz/httpdocs/chattypub/flask.wsgi. Adding a blank line, removing a blank line, adding a space, or removing a space are examples of editing the file. As long as the last modified timestamp changes it will clear the server cache. Let us know if you run into any issues.
