Yeah, 2017 was the last time someone asked about this https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/28532-solved-enable-ssl-in-postgres-database/ It's definitely worth visiting again though since it's been 4 years. SSL has come a long way in that time so surely cpanel has fixed it right? Unfortunately, I have come to the same conclusion. The version of postgresql that cpanel packages does not have support for ssl compiled in. So I could just compile my own version of postgresql... but then you likely wouldn't be able to create postgresql databases through cpanel or use phppgadmin or anything. If there were any vulnerabilities or anything discovered I would have to recompile it again from source each time it needed to be upgraded. Sadly, it looks like you'll need a vps for this still. Nope, I think I got it to work! Try it now with sslmode=require

[Solved] Tommy missing pgsql extension for PHP 7.4 and 8
Krydos replied to rsribeir's topic in Escalated Requests
Flazepe was making fun of me since the subject says 7.4 and 8.0. I did see that before I asked which version. I guess my real question is are you actually going to use both php versions at the same time? If you're only going to use 8.0 then request pgsql on 8.0 and if someone else wants to use 7.4 they can request pgsql themselves. -

[Solved] Tommy missing pgsql extension for PHP 7.4 and 8

Which php version are you using? -
It's up. I tried phppgadmin and it worked for me. Is it working for you now too, or still broken? If it's still not working for you it could be that your password got out of sync with phppgadmin which happens sometimes. The easiest way to fix that is to change your password. Let us know if it's still not working and changing your password doesn't fix it.

[Solved] Can I change server or buy server to used more disk usage
Krydos replied to hong98's topic in Customer Service
I have increased your storage to 2000 MB, and you don't need to log in to cpanel to keep your account active until 2021-07-27. Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with. Thank you so much for your donation! -
You're welcome to try a vps if you want, but you can't use that database on Johnny again, and you definitely can't cause 41 hours of downtime on Ricky or Tommy either.

[Solved] Need remote access to postgres database
Krydos replied to sathishg's topic in Escalated Requests
Remote access enabled. -
Like, Wolstech said your account was suspended for going over the 1000 MB quota. Your database was using up 2.6 GB for some reason. It took 90 minutes but I managed to backup the broken database, and then gzipped it down to 73 MB. The backup is located in your home directory. After I backed it up I deleted the 2.6 GB database out of mysql, but you're welcome to try to create it again and restore the backup. Backing it up didn't cause mysql to crash, it just took an hour and a half to complete. Let us know if you have any problems. Unsuspended.

30 days of not logging in to cpanel = inactive, website is replaced with an inactive message and you can no longer log in to any services including mail and mysql, etc. Users can renew their own account from this state at https://www.heliohost.org/renew/ 60 days of not logging in to cpanel = archived, website is taken offline and the entire account is compressed into a single archive file for storage. Users are not currently able to restore their own account from this state, and must post requesting a root admin to unarchive it for them. Adding the ability for people to restore their account through our website is on the todo list though.
