  1. Please try to be patient. HelioHost is based in the US, so when you post at 2am through 5am most of us are asleep at that time. We try to respond to all support requests within 24 hours, but we're all volunteers so we all have full time jobs and lives outside of volunteering for this non-profit organization so we can't drop everything to reply instantly.
  2. I'm glad you figured out how to log into your Tommy account. Since the VPS and the Tommy account both use the same email address you'll need to login with the username to specify which account you want since the email is no longer unique. I installed Hestia free control panel on your VPS for you, and you can find the default username and password and port to login in the file /root/hestia.txt Just login via SSH, run sudo su command, and then type your password to escalate to root privileges and then you can run the command cat /root/hestia.txt to display the file to your terminal. I also want to mention that you only get 1 free rebuild per month on VPS. Since Hestia needs to be installed on a clean server with no installed software, and your dev tried to install 4 or 5 control panels on top of each other, I had to use a rebuild to install Hestia. Since you and your dev seem really new to web hosting, and are having a much more difficult time at this than most people, I will give you 1 additional free rebuild this month if you need it, but after the second rebuild they will cost $1 each time. We used to provide unlimited free rebuilds, but one user decided to abuse our generosity by requesting about 40 rebuilds in a single month so we had to make a limit. Let us know if you need help with anything else.
  3. Are you unable to login to your Tommy account? I don't understand what would prevent you from downloading your files from Tommy and uploading them to the VPS? The VPS appears to be running fine and responding the pings and responding to SSH.
  4. DKIM, SPF, and DMARC have been set up for the domain zhirofund.com. We recommend sending a test email to https://www.mail-tester.com/ to make sure that everything is set up correctly. If you get less than a 10/10 score please post a link to the full report so we can help you fix any other issues that there may be.
  5. It took a little longer than we expected, but everything should be back online now. The performance of the main database is definitely much faster now. Let us know if you notice anything that isn't working right.

  6. We will be performing some database maintenance starting shortly. We expect the service to be restored to normal within a few hours. During the maintenance the main website will show some errors for certain functions, such as logging in. If you need to access Plesk while the main database is down you may do so directly at https://johnny.heliohost.org or https://tommy2.heliohost.org depending on which server you're on.

  7. Resent. If you end up finding the original email from a few days ago the link in it will no longer work since it was resent with a new code.
  8. Also, do not ever give your password to anyone for any reason. If someone asks for your password they are not an admin, and they're trying to steal your account. A real admin doesn't need or would ever ask for your password.
  9. Did you check your spam folder?
  10. The domain mails.zhirofund.com has been removed from your account.
  11. Yeah, you can export your database to .sql format using PhpMyAdmin, and then import it into MariaDB/MySQL yourself. If you're not too familiar with the export/import process I could do it for you, but it's a good idea to learn how to do it yourself in case you want to backup your data, which is always a good idea.
  12. Your account has been reset.
  13. Thanks for the donation. Your VPS has been reset and CyberPanel has been installed for you. You can find the CyberPanel username and password in /root/cyberpanel.txt Let us know if you need help with anything else.
  14. The domain configuration would stay basically the same, except for the A record and the AAAA record. Tommy uses a shared IPv4 and IPv6 where there are thousands of other domains sharing the same IP address. On a VPS you have a dedicated IPv4 and a dedicated IPv6 that no one else can use except for you. If you use our nameservers we can reconfigure the domain for you to point at the VPS, so you wouldn't have to do anything to move over. For ports, they would all stay the same from Tommy to a VPS so you wouldn't need any code changes. Probably the biggest change for going from Tommy to a VPS would be the control panel. Tommy uses a control panel called Plesk, but Plesk on a VPS would cost you an extra $15.50 on top of the price we charge for the VPS itself. So if you wanted to go with a Mercury VPS with Plesk it would cost $19.50 per month. A lot of VPS users opt to go for a free control panel such as Hestia, KeyHelp, or CyberPanel. With those control panels a Mercury VPS would only cost $4.00 per month. Of course if you're a more advanced user and know your way around the control panel you can opt to go with no control panel at all and just install everything you need via SSH.
  15. Yeah, Facebook sometimes gets all of the subdomains confused with each other. We used to allow users to have websites like wild103.heliohost.org, but Facebook didn't understand that wild103.heliohost.org was a user and heliohost.org was the hosting service, so when one person's Wordpress site got hacked, Facebook blocked all the subdomains including our main website from being posted on Facebook. It took over 6 months to get in contact with Facebook support and get that mess cleaned up so we stopped allowing users to create heliohost.org subdomains for that very reason, and instead forced all new users to use subdomains on heliohost.us or helioho.st. History lesson aside, a workaround is you could buy a domain such as this one https://heliohost.org/partners/namecheap/wild103.net If you click that link it will use our affiliate link, which costs you nothing extra, and donates a few cents to us per purchase. A free option we could try is we could add wild103.helioho.st to your account and you can test whether that domain can be shared on Facebook.
  16. DKIM, SPF, and DMARC have been set up for the domain tymek805.heliohost.us. We recommend sending a test email to https://www.mail-tester.com/ to make sure that everything is set up correctly. If you get less than a 10/10 score please post a link to the full report so we can help you fix any other issues that there may be.
  17. If you need another VPS rebuild and CyberPanel reinstall prior to 2024-06-06 click this link https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/6Z88J5KJZJ3RJ to pay $1 USD. Once the payment is made let us know by replying to this thread. If you want to wait for the free rebuild it will be 22 days still.
  18. Your rebuild has been started and you'll receive an email in a bit when it's done. Your next free rebuild will be available on 2024-06-13. If you need a rebuild prior to that date they can be purchased for $1 USD each. Let us know if you need help with anything else.
  19. If both Tommy and the VPS were using the same units, your $4 per month VPS daily limit would be 1440 GB per day, and your Tommy account would be 100 GB per day. On shared hosting you share the memory with thousands of other users. On a VPS you have dedicated memory that only you can use. On a VPS you also get root SSH access, and a lot of other benefits as well.
  20. You can increase your memory and CPU load limits by switching to a VPS plan which is available immediately. You can signup at https://heliohost.org/vps/ if you're interested.
  21. You might be interested to know that we'll be releasing a new server named Morty before much longer that will allow you to keep your website online even without logging in every 30 days. We'll make a news post when that is available.
  22. Your VPS has been wiped and NixOS has been installed. Let us know if it works.
  23. It should be fixed now. Let us know if you're still having issues.
  24. Remote access enabled. host=65.19.141.77 port=5432 username=danielsanczuniga_admin dbname=danielsanczuniga_DB password=<set in Plesk> Here is a direct link to install Adminer on Tommy if you want to manage your PostgreSQL database with a web gui https://tommy2.heliohost.org:8443/modules/softaculous/index.php?act=software&soft=280
  25. Your diskspace has been increased to 2000 MB. Thanks for the donation.
