  1. Glad to hear its working for you Let us know if you need anything else.
  2. I don't know about the experience with Blogger, or WordPress's hosted blog service. However, the version of WordPress that one installs themselves is not something I would recommend. Wordpress is infamous for horrible security. In fact, it's one of (if not the) leading cause of spam and malware suspensions here at HelioHost. Many of the free themes and extensions you can get online (especially from random, often dubious) websites contain backdoors or malware. WP and many extensions are also full of security holes, so even if not infected, they still need tons of regular updates (that many don't remember to install) as a result in order to stay that way. There's better platforms out there.
  3. I unsuspended you and it immediately suspended you again because I forgot to update the last login date. Try it now.
  4. Yep. Wordpress malware got you suspended for spam. Wordpress (and it's frequently infected plugins and themes) is the leading cause of spam suspensions here at HelioHost. Plugins and themes off of random "free themes" and "free plugins" websites are very frequently just disguised malware. They're "free" because the criminal who published it makes their money through the malware. My recommendation is to not use Wordpress at all, though if you choose to do so, use only themes and plugins from reputable sites and keep everything updated at all times. We only give one chance to fix spam. If we get another report, you'll be permanently suspended. We highly recommend that you remove the entire Wordpress installation as soon as you are unsuspended to avoid the malware sending more spam. Are you ready to fix the problem?
  5. Please answer Krydos's question:
  6. Unsuspended. In the future, you can do this yourself here: http://www.heliohost.org/classic/support/scripts/renew
  7. Java is only supported on Johnny and Tommy. Johnny crashed a few weeks ago and is no longer operational, and Tommy is unreleased (still in closed beta testing). As a result, we currently do not have any available servers that support Java. You will need to wait until Tommy is released (no idea when this will be) or Johnny is rebuilt (ETA of months at this point), then change servers to host a Java application with us.
  8. This is usually permissions issues, but you already chmodded it to 755. Have you tried running it from another folder? Also, try it using #!/usr/local/bin/perl as the shebang line.
  9. Your software is likely broken (or your browser doesn't allow the cookies needed for them). Sessions seem to be working fine for me and the many other sites I tried on the server.
  10. Can you take a screen shot of the errors?
  11. Stevie is taking longer than normal due to the large number of accounts from people moving off of Johnny. I saw a few take 3 days recently.
  12. Give it another 24 hours. You just registered yesterday.
  13. This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
  14. Please clear your cache.
  15. Johnny suffered file system damage that is beyond repair. You can download your files and databases via FTP (DBs are saved as .sql files in your home folder) but no other functions of Johnny work. After that you can sign up on Stevie if you wish. Please note that due to Johnny's failure and Tommy not yet being released, we currently do not offer Java, Ruby, or ASP.NET service. Please see the News forum for more information. I'd link the topics but I'm on mobile.
  16. Try using plain FTP without encryption and see if it works. Both configurations (with and without encryption) are working fine for me.
  17. The server times out about 30 seconds after login if you don't do anything. If you're able to see a directory listing, it's working. I'd take a look to see if you got blocked, but I can't currently access our website for some odd reason (timeout). Are you able to log into cPanel?
  18. What is your accounts username? Apis there a certain error you get or does it just say the password is wrong?
  19. Marko's got it. Just be aware it takes 24 hours to change completely.
  20. Good to hear its working now Let us know if you need anything else.
  21. This looks great! Just a few notes: 13 and 14, for nameservers, the IPs are not required. You can leave the IP boxes blank and it should work. In step two, sub-step 3 for "under Domains click Alias"...when using x3 theme, Aliases are called "parked domains" instead.
  22. Not at this time. In fact, using https to access helionet.org gives me our website instead of the forum (after ignoring a security certificate error).
  23. You shouldn't need the old folder. Rename it and test if you want to be sure before deleting.
  24. Definitely. The auto-replies count toward the limit like every other email. Do you have a contact form on your site that sends an email when submitted? I've seen these get botted and cause this as well. If so, consider adding a captcha to deal with the bots.
