Not much of a choice for 4.8... I was going to toss these on Lily since I can, but the version being used is too new. https://www.phpmyadmin.net/themes/#pma_4_8

And to add to this, the cpmove archives don't necessarily need to go back on the same server. A Johnny archive can restore onto Ricky or Tommy as well if you donate. It's the same exact process as moving an account, but the Johnny account is just already packed up. We'd just copy the cpmove file to whatever server you want and restore it.

If you're using sockets for outbound communication, what ports are you using? Our firewall doesn't allow outbound traffic on nonstandard ports without getting it approved first.

Tomcat is shared by everyone on the server, so we can't make the full log available (it contains information about other users' accounts). If your application is having an issue, Krydos can pull the relevant sections for you and post them. What is your account's username, and what exactly are you having trouble with?

File system corruption kept causing the server to hang if it ran for any length of time...such corruption is a result of numerous improper shut downs (usually power outage, crashes from overloading, etc.). Because of how Johnny is (ab)used (unlimited accounts and lots of load), it's reasonable to say that his life span will always be significantly shorter than Tommy or Ricky. We got ~18 months out of the third Johnny (the first one to go through a complete cycle accepting unlimited accounts, the first and second one died prematurely due to disk failure), and honestly, it should've been rebuilt months ago. The file system corruption just finally forced us to do it. The next one we're about to set up will be round 4 for Johnny.

You could also install your own copy of PMA on your account and use whatever theme you want

We're not a webmail provider, we're a hosting company. Our accounts and servers are primarily meant for running a website, and while webmail is one of the features of an account, it's not the intended purpose of our services. The accounts also have a sending limit of 50 emails per day to prevent abuse (though you can request a higher limit). Our registrations open at midnight UTC every day and fill within a few minutes. We normally offer a server called Johnny that has 24/7 registrations, but it crashed and is in the process of being repaired.

Can't access my website over https (ssl)
wolstech replied to PraveenKumar's topic in Customer Service
Lets Encrypt isn't even required on Ricky. The server would have gotten a certificate for you after 24 hours if don't have any sort of forced redirects on your domain that would block plain HTTP connections. Anyway, SSL certificates can take several hours to start working on Ricky after installation. If you just installed them, the inactive page is normal until they take effect. -
[HH#606145] Password reset internal server error 500
wolstech replied to HelioHost's topic in Email Support
@flazepe: Yes he did. @Bailey: That email was in base64. I've decoded it. Some mail clients will base64 their mail body, our scripts are not smart enough to detect base64 mail bodies and decode them, so the encoded message ends up posted here. @s920361 via email: The information you've probably already received is correct. The server you're on is Johnny and has failed. Backups will be available soon for you to download your data so you can move to another server, a news post will be made when these are available. -
Moving so Krydos can get this installed for you. Correct. Mail sometimes uses 65.19.143.6 by default...

Tommy offers free accounts at midnight just like Ricky does, though you do need to be *very* quick to get one. They've been running out for the day in about 10 seconds lately. Sitting there at midnight UTC with the server selection page open and mashing F5 hoping you get the page to load when it's available is about the only method to get one that way. Can you explain why exactly you need to be on tommy? Is there a specific feature you need that's not on Ricky? Ricky's uptime is pretty good, so performance shouldn't be a major reason (though there's definitely an improvement on Tommy): http://heliohost.grd.net.pl/monitor/

We made the backups for you and they'll be made available at some point in the near future for you to download.

That account is on Johnny, which has failed. Please see the recent posts in the news forum for more information. https://www.helionet.org/index/forum/1-news/

Autossl installed on the domain staging.icnsoft.org but apache hasn't restarted yet. Once apache restarts it should begin working on normal 443. Also, be aware that autossl did not apply to the main icnsoft.org domain because it's been excluded due to cloudflare. Only the staging.icnsoft.org domain received a certificate.

I've decided to restore your WP installation for you since you've been waiting long enough. Your site is now working. http://www.treetransplanting.net/ The backup cpmove-treetran.tar.gz has been left in your home folder in case you need additional items from it. Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
-
Your backup has been copied into your home folder and is labeled cpmove-treetran.tar.gz. You can download that package and unpack it (if on Windows, use a tool like 7-zip) to retrieve your files and databases and set up your website again. I apologize for the delay in getting these to you. The files were finally available to me this evening for me to transfer it for you.

8:58:00 PM This system has AutoSSL set to use “cPanel (powered by Comodo)”. 8:58:00 PM Checking websites for “icnsofto” … 8:58:07 PM WARN AutoSSL will not generate a certificate for the website “icnsoft.org” because every domain for that website has been excluded from AutoSSL. at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/SSL/Auto/Report.pm line 137. 8:58:07 PM The website “staging.icnsoft.org”, owned by “icnsofto”, has a faulty SSL certificate (OPENSSL_VERIFY:0:18:DEPTH_ZERO_SELF_SIGNED_CERT). AutoSSL will attempt to replace this certificate. 8:58:14 PM The system will attempt to renew SSL certificates for the following websites: 8:58:14 PM staging.icnsoft.org (staging.icnsoft.org www.staging.icnsoft.org) 8:58:19 PM The system has completed the AutoSSL check for “icnsofto”. 8:59:12 PM The queue contains a request for a certificate for “icnsofto”’s website “staging.icnsoft.org”. The system last polled for this certificate at May 8, 2018, 12:58:18 AM UTC. The next poll will be no earlier than May 8, 2018, 1:03:18 AM UTC. 9:04:26 PM Polling for “icnsofto”’s new certificate for “staging.icnsoft.org” (order item ID “376686803”) … 9:04:28 PM The certificate is available. The system will now attempt to install it. 9:05:03 PM SUCCESS The certificate is now installed! The domain staging.icnsoft.org now has a certificate. That certificate will renew on its own when it nears expiration provided you don't block the domain validation again. I'd advise creating a folder to put the WP install in so it doesn't conflict, instead of installing it in the domain's root. Please note that it may take up to 2 hours for it to take effect.

Fewer accounts and much newer hardware on Tommy. We also have somewhat tighter resource controls. Ricky's hardware (Stevie) is actually the oldest in our fleet. Tommy's hardware (Eddie) is I believe either the newest or second newest server based on date of manufacture.
-
It may or may not. The number of accounts per day on Ricky won't decease overnight since virtually nobody is going to move Ricky->Johnny. Similarly, the number created each day won't decrease since the limit is going to stay the same. Historically though, over time the servers tend to smooth out. New users come and old users go, which means the software being run by them changes over time and thus the load behaves differently.

Modded MC on an rPI? My i7-6700K based server can sometimes have a hard time with modded MC 1.7.10 (yeah, old school). It handles well up to 5-7 players, but beyond that, it's lag city. If I let it have the whole box (instead of half of it in a VM), I'd get ~20 players online at once on a $1200 box. To answer, I don't think so. Game servers are very resource hungry. You'd need a ton of resources to offer such a service, and such resources quickly get expensive. They also don't lend well to advertising or other similar ways of making money, so I can't imagine such a service staying in business without selling something.

The account and domains successfully set up, but the content is missing. Index of / is the empty directory listing that results from having no content uploaded. The backups are still being processed. I would advise waiting until the backups are publicly released to determine whether a backup exists for your account. If it does, we can assist you in restoring it at that point. If it does not, you'll need to build a new site.
-
Please refer to the recent posts in https://www.helionet.org/index/forum/1-news/ regarding Johnny. Long story short, the server died. Backups will be available in the coming days. If you want, you can sign up for Tommy or Ricky at midnight UTC to get back to work sooner. Registrations do fill fast every day, but both servers have much better uptime and reliability and are worth the effort to get an account. If you don't want to hope you can get one at midnight, a donation will also get you a Tommy account.

To an extent, yes. More accounts = more load. We actually had to reduce the number of accounts per day on Ricky for this reason.
