  1. Do you have the transaction ID of the donation? I didn't see it in your post history.
  2. You can change the NS, add the domain, then change it back and manually create the MX records to us on whatever DNS service you use. Note that DKIM and SPF records need to be manually created as well. Keep in mind though that this configuration is unsupported, and we do not provide customer support for users running such a configuration. The suggested configuration would be to abandon Cloudns. You can use our name servers, then edit the A records to point to Netlify for your external content hosting while pointing the MX records to our server. This is a supported configuration, and allows cPanel to properly manage the related TXT records needed for SPF and DKIM to function. So long as you log in once a month, there's nothing keeping you from using the account in this manner. We have several users who use their account in a mail-only configuration like this. Finally, I would not recommend sending mailing lists from here because you can get suspended if someone (or something...) on the list reports the email as spam. Also, sending limits on emails are 50 recipients per day (no matter how its sent or broken up) unless you request a higher limit.
  3. Your site was illegally distributing movies. Piracy is not welcome here.
  4. Yes, every recipient is considered an individual email, even if it was one message sent to 50 people. I can't guarantee that only the first 50 received the message (in fact, more may have received it, it depends how fast Tommy sends them before the suspension script gets around to deleting the mail). Because of the limits, sending bulk mail from our servers is not a recommended use for our service. A request for a higher limit can be made assuming you have a good use case for it, but you can still get suspended for too many emails, and you'll also get suspended if someone (or something like a filter...) reports your email as spam and we get an abuse report.
  5. Something on your account is still sending mail even after I cancelled your existing one in the exim queue. Krydos can identify the source of the mail.
  6. The mail queue on Tommy has been purged and milano has been unsuspended again.
  7. Or isn't it? Keeps showing suspended (though I haven't sent any more than the initial 3 mails of course - can't rule out you did queue one of course)... It doesn't matter how you send them or break them up, each recipient counts as one email. Sending 50 emails each with one recipient, or one email with 50 recipients, or 2 emails each with 25 recipients...all would use your allotment of 50/day up. This change was made early this year after a phisher discovered 1 email with 200 recipients was only counted as one email...
  8. It got suspended for exactly that...the system thought you were sending spam because you sent too many emails. The limit is 50/day. Unsuspended.
  9. That's because it got lost in the storm of requests we had. An invite has been sent for a replacement account. It should arrive at the email address associated with your forum profile.
  10. Your forum username can be changed, what do you want it to be?
  11. If you're using outlook, others have reported getting things working by selecting "Log onto incoming mail server first". And no, port 465 does not accept connections for me either when I tried. Port 587 should support STARTTLS though. I have no idea why that gives a 554 when you used it in your original post.
  12. Krydos has to verify this since it was through the Gofundme. Once he verifies it, you’ll see the double space
  13. AUTH PLAIN show now be offered again. The newer cpanel versions turn on the require ssl for smtp option by default (google shows that versions before 71 had this off by default, old tommy had 66...) I don't recommend using it for obvious reasons though. It's a security issue, and to be honest, I'd actually prefer to have the require ssl enabled. I have no idea why STARTTLS doesn't work for you. What are you using for a mail client? 220-tommy.heliohost.org ESMTP Exim 4.92 #2 Sun, 13 Oct 2019 13:10:39 +0000 220-We do not authorize the use of this system to transport unsolicited, 220 and/or bulk e-mail. 14. Done. You should now be able to log in and your website should start working within 2 hours.

    Tommy Is Back!

The website can be buggy at times. If it gives you trouble, log in here instead: https://tommy.heliohost.org:2083/ (make sure you don't have anything after the / ). Use itc as the username, not your email address.
  16. #1: You upload it. #2: Backups of your old account are here. You'll need to download all of the files there and manually restore everything: https://heliohost.org/backup/ The file named username.tar.gz contains your home folder, and each additional archive will contain a single SQL database. The home folder files can be uploaded via FTP (you only need to upload the public_html files unless you have stuff outside of there you need). The databases can be restored using the MySQL restore option on the backup page of cPanel to upload the .sql files. You'll need to recreate your database users and assign them to databases. Make sure their passwords match the config files for the software they go with. #3: Yes. #4: If you add new domains, the new domains can take a few minutes to start working. File uploads and software should work instantly once they're configured correctly. If it's not, you'll probably see something like a 500 error or a database error from the program. #5: Basically. You're essentially rebuilding it using the data from your old account.
  17. The domain specified has been cleaned up. Invite sent.
  18. Note that the maximum storage allowed at this time is 3000MB (achieved by donating to the sparkie fundraiser while already having an existing space upgrade). Donations beyond that will not provide additional space, but can still give you immunity for inactivity at a rate of $1/month.
  19. Try changing the password for that database user. Also, check your PhpBB configuration file (probably config.php or similarly named) and verify the password matches whatever you set it to. It's not a cache issue...it's a broken DB connection.
  20. He must have, an expired invite would say it's expired, and a working one wouldn't ask. Tommy is not currently accepting free signups through the website.
  21. You can host the mail wherever. If you're using our name servers, there's an option in cpanel to change the MX records if you want to use an outside mail service. By default, the mail will be delivered to the matching mailbox on your hosting account, provided it exists. If it does not exist, it'll go into the catch-all mailbox if you set it up. If there's no catch all and no matching mailbox, the mail will be refused.
