  1. It's suspended for malware. I just looked and it appears the account contains exactly one file, which is obfuscated if opened in vim and appears dubious in nature (I'm guessing this is probably a shell perhaps or a botnet backend, both are prohibited here). Can you explain?
  2. Your account was suspended because our systems detected that you might have more than one account. We understand that no one ever reads our terms, but as a reminder, our Terms of Service state that each user is allowed to have only one account. The reason we have to enforce this rule is because our servers are already overloaded the way it is, and it wouldn't be fair to everyone that is turned away each day for you to have more than one when so many others have none. One common reason people create more than one account is to get around our storage limit of 1000 MB. Did you know that we will give you another 1000 MB of storage for each $5 USD donation you make up to 5000 MB total? If you'd like to increase the storage of your account just make a donation and then let us know your transaction ID and username. Another common reason people create more than one account is to host more than one website. Did you know that you can host as many websites on your one account as you want? Unlike a lot of free hosts we offer unlimited alias domains, unlimited addon domains, and unlimited subdomains. If you need any help adding another website to your account just let us know. Another common reason people create more than one account is to try out several servers at once, or to transfer a website between accounts on different servers. Did you know that an admin can move your account for you for as little as a $1 USD donation? This will save you the trouble of signing up again, and deleting your account, etc. Sometimes our systems flags you as possibly having more than one account when you share a computer with family, friends, coworkers, other students, etc. If this is your situation we apologize for the suspension, and we'll be happy to unsuspend all of the involved accounts after you provide proof that each of the accounts belong to a different person.
  3. Krydos might be able to put it back, or might need to reinstall the OS. Lets see...
  4. An account can only have one main domain. Once you have DNS set up, you can change it back and add the extra domain as an addon.
  5. VPN and VPS are two different things. What we sell is a VPS, basically a virtual server that you have full access to. You can install and run whatever you want on one since you get root access. Running web servers is the most common use, but game servers, proxies and VPNs, dedicated application servers and similar can also be run one one as well. There is a monthly fee for these unlike our conventional shared web hosting (which as you know is free). Our current sale gives you a discount if you buy 6 months up front though, and VPSes are also coming with an extra gig of ram for free at the moment due to issues with disk performance. You do need some server admin experience to really get into it, but Krydos can help you get up and running.
  6. This won’t work here. Cpanel servers run Linux, so they cannot run EXE files (windows applications).
  7. Your account was suspended because Wordpress is causing too much load. I have unsuspended your account, but please try to limit the load you put on our servers as it slows down not only your site, but the sites of all other HelioHost users sharing your server.<br /><br />This is really common for Wordpress. It can cause massive amounts of load even if you're hardly getting any traffic to your site. Wordpress is also incredibly insecure and very easy to hack. We see Wordpress accounts get hacked all the time and usually the hacker sets up a phishing site on your domain. We strongly recommend using any software other than Wordpress.<br /><br />Something that might help is this simply static Wordpress plugin. It will speed up your site, reduce the load you cause, and reduce your chance of getting hacked. If you try it let us know how it worked out for you.<br /><br />If you insist on using Wordpress you might want to consider purchasing a VPS instead. VPS hosting gives you an entire virtual server to yourself, including no load limits, a dedicated IP address, and full root access. Wordpress sites load relatively slowly on our shared hosting, but they will be much faster on a VPS.
  8. Are you ready to fix it? Every time I unsuspend this and you don't get to fixing it, it's load causes downtime for thousands of other websites.
  9. Krydos has to set those up manually, so they sometimes take a little while. If you have not already, please be sure to fill out the form on https://heliohost.org/vps/ That form goes directly to him so he knows there was a VPS request. He will email you back about the pricing, and you can provide the information from your fundraiser donation as the payment. Also, based on your post history, please keep in mind that even with a VPS, the terms of service regarding spam and illegal activity still apply. Even though we are more lax about how you use a VPS, they are still subject to termination without refund if we receive abuse reports for your VPS's IP address.
  10. ASP.NET has been configured. Please check your PMs.
  11. Tommy itself no longer offers ASP.net. You need an account on our windows server, Lily, if you want that. Because of how Lily works, it's the exception to the one account rule...you actually have to have a cpanel account and a Lily account together. Once we move you to tommy, I'll set up a Lily account when I get a moment and send you a PM with credentials. I can't move you at the moment since I'm on an iPhone...
  12. You can keep both, you'll need it if you want to make changes. My suggestion would be to put rules in .htaccess to restrict who can reach it. If it's blocked for everyone except you, it will produce far less load than a WP site that is seeing lots of traffic.
  13. You can really use any of the methods since you already have an account. Upgrades and moves are a manual process that requires a support post and admin assistance, so it doesn't matter which one you use. The only thing that the Tommy link does differently is that it automatically sends an invite if you don't already have an account associated with the email on your paypal account. If you already have such an account, it won't send anything and is effectively identical to the other donation methods. Our current fundraiser can be found here.
  14. It could be enabled on any version that supports it, but odds are you're using only one version. The server's default version is not always the latest version either, so a specific version number is needed.

  16. The lt at the end somehow got included into the link. Krydos's link should be https://www.heliohost.org/partners/namecheap/krydos.de
  17. If I remember right, the forum passwords cannot contain spaces or certain symbols (most notably quotes and slashes). Since you mentioned special characters, that is probably why this happened. Caps, lowercase, and numbers are definitely supported since mine has those and works...
  18. Yeah, an infinite loop will do that. Please fix it quickly. Unsuspended.
