Well to give you an idea of what the various stats cost up front, configuring the next server we can purchase: Memory is a one-time cost $3.81 per 1 GB. Example: 32 GB server is $504.87 and 1024 GB server is $4280.87. We charge $3 per month per 1 GB. Storage is a one-time cost $2.95 per 1 GB. Example: 600 GB server is $523.87 and 3072 GB server is $7840. We charge $0.01 per month per 1 GB. CPU is a one-time cost $56.29 per 1 core. Example 8 core server is $504.87 and 22 core server is $1292.87. We charge $0.25 per month per 1 core. CPUs are expensive up front, but all of the VPS on a server can share the CPU time. Most VPS only use 1% - 5% CPU at any given time. Plus we don't allow mining and other activity that would use 100% CPU so there is usually plenty of idle time. Storage is pretty expensive up front, but the speed of the storage is similar to the CPU usage where most VPS only have a very small amount of disk activity at any point so the read and write speed for all of the VPS stays decently high. Memory cannot be shared however. Some VPS providers oversell memory, but that means that if all of the VPS on the server simultaneously try to use more memory than the whole server physically has the host has to start swapping to provide that much virtual memory. The speed between real memory and hard drive is like night and day. The VPS would all grind to a halt basically, the load would spike super high, and they would all be extremely slow.

I hadn't even fully finished deleting your old server before someone had already purchased the space you had vacated since we've been 100% full on VPS for about a week.

People can spoof the email as being from anyone address they want to. If the email domain, such as sylvain.heliohost.org, does not authorize them as a sender then it fails SPF and goes to spam.

Changed. Keep in mind that if Chrome sends us a phishing warning for that domain you will be suspended regardless of what you're using it for. If we don't suspend sites like yours then all of the subdomains on the heliohost.us will start showing phishing warnings too.

What do you plan to use this account for? Keep in mind that phishing is illegal and therefore against our terms of service. Your domain already gives a phishing warning in Chrome.

That server monitor is still monitoring cPanel, and I don't think the owner of the service has any plans to update it to Plesk. He also refuses to upgrade his ancient computer so he can't even post on the new forums because his computer can't run the required Javascript. The reason it doesn't show the status of helionet.org and heliohost.org is because he never updated it to support https, and he's had 6+ years to do that upgrade with no progress. We should probably stop linking to it.

Open_basedir prevents you from accessing files in other people's accounts. We will not be setting it to none because then you could access other people's files which would be both a privacy concern as well as a security vulnerability. If you need open_basedir disabled you'll need to get a VPS.

Did you try another port such as 3001 with code option #1?

Since Plesk comes with such an old version of Magento you probably can't use PHP 8.1. If you want to use the latest version of Magento you'll need to install it from source. It looks like Magento 2.1.0 provided by Plesk supports up to PHP 7.0, but not higher than that. The extension mcrypt was removed in PHP 7.2 I believe so that would explain why it's still looking for that. The latest version of Magento is 2.4.5 released a month ago. The version of Magento provided by the Plesk installed is 2.1.0 which was released in 2016 and reached end of life over 3 years ago. https://endoflife.date/magento

Are you trying to install Magento on karachi1.heliohost.us or another domain?

It looks like you were suspended for inactivity because you didn't log in for 30 days. To prevent that from happening again simply visit https://heliohost.org/login/ and submit your username and password to login. Once you successfully reach the dashboard or Plesk control panel you're good for another 30 days. You might also want to check your email spam settings because we send out a warning email 48 hours before your account goes inactive reminding you to login if you're still using your account. Then if you ignore that email and don't login we send a second email letting you know how to renew it if you want to start using it again. Anyways, you figured out how to renew it yourself and your account is active now so this issue seems to be solved. Let us know if you need help with anything else.
