Your site masteracoservices.heliohost.org is actually located on stevie. That server doesn't support .NET so that's why your .aspx file isn't processed. You could move your account to johnny by following these instructions http://wiki.helionet.org/Moving_your_account

[Solved] Can't install JSON:XS module for Perl
Krydos replied to vol7ron's topic in Escalated Requests
That was 12 days ago. That's like 2,318 years in internet time. -
Welcome to heliohost. We think so too.
-
The server stats were enabled for all accounts and it caused a lot of unnecessary server load because only a small fraction of websites actually used them or needed them. There are plenty of alternatives, the most popular or which are probably google analytics and piwik. More information can be found on the wiki http://wiki.helionet.org/Site_statistics
-
I've never used net2ftp but glancing at their website it doesn't look like it would cause a lot of server load.
-
What causes the script to take so long? Is it because it causes massive server load, is it because it is waiting on some other slow server somewhere to respond, or is it some other reason? If it's massive server load then maybe you shouldn't be running that process on our servers anyways because it will likely get you suspended eventually.

You'd have to ask jje, but I'm guessing that based on this he hadn't thought to dropping a redirect index file in there so he escalated it? I didn't actually look at any of those files so I have no idea if the directory listing should be visible or not or if it presented any vulnerability or not. If you're certain there is no threat feel free to de-escalate this thread, or jje can do it. If nothing else this thread can be a note to djbob that basically just says, "Hey, we messed with the files in your stevie account a little. Hope it's all good."
-
As a regular user you definitely don't have access to enable modules in apache and recompile, however if you are interested in seeing what our root administrator has to say about this potential installation I can escalate this thread to bring it to his attention. There is a chance that he will add it, especially if this upgrade could benefit many users.

I think he was just concerned that something might be broken, or it was a security vulnerability.

Admin ERROR, If i install joomla 1.7
Krydos replied to chris-love-heliohost's topic in Customer Service
Except that softaculous sets the database up for you. -
Generally we advise waiting 48 hours for the account to be deleted, but depending on how many accounts are in the queue, server load, etc it might take longer or it might even delete in less than 48 hours. It's fairly variable.
-
It looks like your old account hasn't deleted yet. When did you run the deletion script to add your account to the deletion queue? There are currently 187 accounts on Johnny that need to be deleted.

By the way, bandwidth is unlimited on heliohost. That said, server load, process count, and storage space are not unlimited. Some services can use a lot of bandwidth but use very little server load. Some services can use barely any bandwidth but bog the servers down with massive amounts of server load. In my experience ftp uses very little server load, but it can use up a lot of your process limit. Sometimes while actively downloading or uploading through ftp your site can experience 500 internal server errors because you hit your process limit.
-
Why not just drop an index file there that redirects to heliohost.org or something? Then djbob can fix or unfix it as he sees fit when he has a chance? I don't really see how that could hurt anything.

[Solved] Not possible to reset password
Krydos replied to mariusm98's topic in Suspended and Queued Accounts
Your account was suspended because the last time you logged into cPanel was 31 July 2011. If you don't log in at least once every 30 days your account gets suspended. In the future you can fix this yourself by logging in once every 30 days or less visiting http://www.heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/renew Let us know in this forum http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showforum=45 if you still aren't able to reset your password and log in to cPanel. Your account has been manually unsuspended. If you still see the suspended page then you should try clearing your browsers cache. http://wiki.helionet.org/Clear_your_cache -- Please spare a few minutes to take our brief survey: http://feedback.heliohost.org/ Your participation in this survey is greatly appreciated. -
Admin ERROR, If i install joomla 1.7
Krydos replied to chris-love-heliohost's topic in Customer Service
I was going to say, I just used softaculous to install joomla 1.7 like 2 days ago and it worked fine for me. -
Well, ok it doesn't *always* take *exactly* 24 hours. You're quite right in that regard. It does, however, take until the http.conf gets rebuilt, which happens once a day at midnight PDT. Most people create their accounts shortly after midnight PDT when the signups get reset thereby just barely missing the apache reset so most people end up waiting 23 hours and 45 mins or so. Either that or: Wait 24 hours after account creation for your site to become visible. One is certainly simpler than the other. Let us know if it still isn't working tomorrow after the reset. As far as your last host's error page showing up that is probably because you browser has that page cached, or your DNS has your .com still going to your old host. When I try to open martin-grey.com it shows heliohost queued page as it should at this point.
-
Did you wait 24 hours after creating your account? You can log in and start uploading files and configuring your account right away by logging into cPanel.

Good to know that duplicate emails aren't allowed. I suspected they wouldn't be. I set your stevie account email address to the same as the johnny account so you don't need to worry about that redirect.

Google: Big evil company or humanity's best friend?
Krydos replied to i7Grendel's topic in Technology and the Internet
Twitter sucks. It was designed by some sadistic bastard who loathes long-winded fellows such as myself. How anyone can ever say anything in 140 characters or less completely baffles me. Now that silly wanker is laughing his ass off because twitter has gotten so popular that it is single handedly killing whatever literary eloquence that the world may have once possessed. Read some classic literature and you'll wonder, as I do, how the world's average IQ could have dropped roughly fifty points in the last couple hundred years. -
Ok, de-escalating this one since you decided to make another. Don't need duplicates escalated.

I was curious about there being two different commands; it seems the first command /scripts/restartsrv_postgres just calls the second command and passes in it any arguments /scripts/restartsrv_postgresql So I guess it's just there to save you 2 keystrokes? I should stop questioning cPanel...
