[Solved] Please unblock my ip (68.225.65.161) on Ricky
wolstech replied to mscottsr's topic in Blocked IPs
Unblocked. -
It might work if you specify both the custom NS names and the IP addresses (glue records) of our name servers at your registrar, but I'm not sure if this would work or not. You would need to create A records for the custom names in cpanel as well, pointed to the IPs of our name servers, so our system is aware of the names. I'm not sure whether cpanel will like it though when it goes to do name server checks. I'm not sure if it looks at the name, or at the ip of the server being used. If it's the name, this won't work for letting you create new domains. Officially, we don't support any configuration other than the one we list.

That account does not exist. If you had this account in the past, it has been deleted due to extended inactivity. Please check your email for a link to create a replacement account.
-
Your account has been unarchived and should start working within the next 2 hours.
-
Then why is his domain and email address very similar to yours? In addition, his email requesting unarchiving was word-for-word identical with the email address changed, and sent within a 3 minute span of each other. I'll unarchive btigroup, whoever owns dsgc will not be able to be unsuspended.
-
Same user as dsgc. Please see https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/35293-hh653351-account/ You're only allowed one account. Which one do you want to restore?

Our systems indicate that you are the same user as btigroup. You're only allowed one account. Which account do you want to restore?
-
What was the account's username and what email address did you use?

[Solved] Help my account is suspendend
wolstech replied to comp705's topic in Suspended and Queued Accounts
Bingo. If I unsuspend this, comp7054 will end up suspended instead. You can't have both. -
There's no hard limit for CPU usage. It's a matter of when the load becomes enough to affect other people's websites. When the server starts to slow down, the heaviest users are suspended in order until the server performs normally again. Users on Tommy can actually view their load and how likely they are to get suspended for this. This feature isn't yet on Johnny and Ricky though. Normally we release new stuff on Johnny first, but because Tommy is the most sensitive to load causing suspensions (Ricky and Johnny are more lenient with load, a big reason why they're also slow...), it made more sense to offer it to Tommy users first. Since you're on Tommy, you can view your load here: https://tommy.heliohost.org:2083/frontend/paper_lantern/load/index.live.php

You can correct this by changing the file's permissions to 644 in file manager or FTP.
-
Let see if Krydos can grab the logs for you to help troubleshoot it.
-
It says it's suspended for hacking tools, though I don't see anything on the account that I would consider hacking tools. The index page does look kind of dubious though and the index page was an IP logger, which is probably what got it suspended. Please be aware that we do not permit the hosting of hacking tools, malware, botnets, phishing, or any other illegal activity. Please delete g9.php (renamed to g9.mal) and all dubious content within 24 hours or you'll be suspended again until we can remove it for you.
-
Done. You should now be able to log in and your website should start working within 2 hours.

Unarchiving.

@Krydos: Bulletproof hosting is exactly the opposite of regular providers. They generally ignore abuse reports, and often own their own data centers, so there's no provider to shut them down. When they get busted, it's usually a government physically raiding them and taking the servers. More often than not these companies specialize in hosting cybercrime. Such hosts are often found in countries with lax or no cybercrime laws or enforcement. There's lots of money to be made in that business unfortunately, and some of these even go as far to operate on contingency ("we take X% of proceeds, make nothing pay nothing"). This person will likely succeed at setting it up and operating it using one of those providers. The good news is that most of these providers' IPs are already on abuse blacklists, so they're easy to block.

[Solved] Suspended: hh_cyclicgm
wolstech replied to cyclicgm's topic in Suspended and Queued Accounts
It was indeed inactivity. Unsuspended. To clarify the policy though, the account is for life, as in we will never cancel your service as long as you use it. We won't boot you off because someone else wants your spot or anything like that. "Using it" is defined as logging into cPanel once a month (we can't define it any other way because we have users who only use the account for email or database services, or for running crons, or who are stuck waiting in line for Java, or for other non-public-facing stuff). Regardless of how you obtain an account, you're not immune from the login requirement unless you donate monthly or in large amounts. Each donation of $1 or more gives 1 month of activity credit for your account. If you decide to donate for this, please let us know so we can set your account up to extend itself upon receipt of your donations. -
We receive so many reports that mistakes sometimes happen. He looks for the domain name and suspends it forgetting to check the date first. Let us know if you have any other problems.
-
That suspension is actually incorrect. Krydos suspended it because we received an abuse report, but the spam message is from over a month ago before you fixed your issue. Unsuspended.
-
Done. You should now be able to log in and your website should start working within 2 hours.

Unarchiving...

This error occurs due to your ISP changing your IP address too often. Usually, this occurs when accessing cpanel from a mobile device (which isn't supported, most cell phone companies can change your phone's IP as often as every single time it transmits). The solution to this error is to either use a different internet connection, or use a proxy or VPN to access our services.
-
You must use our name servers to initially configure the domain and add it to your account. This is a requirement to prove you own the domain. Once configured, you will need to let cloudflare copy the working DNS zone settings, then change back to cloudflare. Please be aware that our service has been known to have some odd issues with cloudflare in the past. Some functions such as AutoSSL won't work if you're using it.

[Solved] My account suspended :(
wolstech replied to temunum's topic in Suspended and Queued Accounts
The suspension is due to multiple accounts because you signed up twice yesterday. If I unsuspend this, you won't be able to have the account cakirins back. Which account do you want to keep?
