  1. Basically, people visiting your site isn't going to keep it active, nor is giving us money. It's odd that it didn't catch the login with that link, as that's the suggested way of doing it...
  2. To my knowledge there's no limit aside from the 1GB space limit. You can use your entire account for a single DB if you wanted. If you need remote access you do have to request that though.
  3. How are you logging into the account? There's only two links that count for activity: https://heliohost.org/login/ or https://ricky.heliohost.org.org:2083/ (with nothing after the slash). Traffic to your site won't keep an account active, nor will a donation unless you donate and request activity immunity in exchange for the donation.
  4. That go fund me ended long ago at this point. Since you donated to the go fund me, Krydos will need to manually verify it and send you an invite for an account For others who find this, the correct place to get a tommy account is https://heliohost.org/tommy/ (it sends the invite automatically if you use that page and don't already have an account). @Krydos: This seems to happen now and again, can we update the GFM to stop collecting? Perhaps put a message saying we've already purchased sparkie and future donations should go to https://heliohost.org/donate/ ?
  5. This is a known limitation. I believe it's quote marks and spaces that are the major issues, though I wouldn't be surprised if others cause problems as well.
  6. Sent. Please let us know if you still don't get it and we can try another email address.
  7. Two things: First, that "no response from subprocess" means load is simply too high for the server to serve a cPanel page. Johnny only has uptime of 91% and is meant for testing things. It won't run a production website with any reliability. If you need something fast and stable, you should be on Tommy. Two, WordPress is the one application we recommend users not use. Despite its popularity, internally it's junk code that causes tons of load and is terribly insecure. It's the leading cause of high load suspensions here, and is also well known for earning people accidental bans when it almost inevitably gets hacked and the criminals set up phishing on your account. Literally any other CMS available is better.
  8. Applications have to be in the form of either a WAR archive or flat JSP files. JSP can be uploaded like any other language, WAR is deployed through cPanel. JSPs don't require they be started, WARs start on their own after they deploy. If your application is in one of these formats, it might run here. We do not offer shell access of any sort, and Krydos has to provide logs by request if they're needed. Tomcat is version 8.5.24 on both servers, Java is 1.8 I believe, but not sure on the exact revision of it since I do very little with Java. Most on here typically ask about database connections using JDBC, that should work. I'm not sure if the others are supported here or not. Also, Johnny has a wait of about a month for Java access, so assuming you didn't already request it, you're looking at mid-September before you can do anything unless you want to move to Tommy (which has a wait of about 3 days). If you need something that doesn't meet the above supported program types, you need shell access, you need a different version of Java, or you need access without waiting, you'll need to buy a VPS instead. You get full root access on a VPS and can run whatever you want.
  9. OK this is weird. I think he has and is using two accounts. He used the forum account for modapp to ask for a move for se2. Both accounts are active, and modapp is actually newly created today. @FitztianPlays: One of the two needs to be deleted since you can only have one account.
  10. You should be using the tommy one now. Using https://heliohost.org/login/ will figure it out for you, but the direct link is https://tommy.heliohost.org:2083/
  11. Odd name for a resume site... It’s banned for phishing.
  12. Last we were aware, our normal shared IPs are accessible in China. Is this no longer the case?
  13. Unblocked. If you use https://heliohost.org/login/ you won't get blocked for invalid passwords. If you want to delete your account, use this: http://heliohost.org/classic/support/scripts/delete
  14. Wordpress is the number one cause of load suspensions here...I'm not surprised it got suspended. WP is a pile of junk that's infamous for this and many other issues such as getting hacked (it's just really badly written). There's no real fix other than to get rid of WordPress. There's tools that can convert your site into static HTML, or you can rebuild in something else.
  15. Your account was suspended for causing high server load. I have unsuspended your account, but please try to limit the load you put on our servers as it slows down not only your site, but the sites of all other HelioHost users sharing your server. If you still see the suspended page, please clear your cache. If you need help figuring out why your site is causing such high load let us know and we can try to help. If the high load is simply because your site is getting a lot of traffic, you might want to consider purchasing a VPS instead. https://www.heliohost.org/vps/ VPS hosting gives you an entire virtual server to yourself, including no load limits, a dedicated IP address, and full root access.
  16. Invite sent. The data from the old account is available at https://heliohost.org/backup/ if you need the content. I'll need the donation transaction information or a link to a previous topic in order to restore the 2GB storage. The backup system doesn't tell me much about the account (in fact, I only know you came from Tommy based on the dates on the archives, August 2019, which is when it crashed).
  17. Please check your PMs. Yeah, the area took a beating from that storm. I personally wasn't hard hit aside from power outages, but there were tons of downed trees and other storm damage. Much of it is finally cleaned up thankfully. Power is back on pretty much everywhere, and all the major roads are open again.
  18. What link are you using to log in? You need to use either https://heliohost.org/login/ or https://tommy.heliohost.org:2083/ (with nothing after the / ). Using other links, especially a cpanel link ending in .html, won't count.
  19. I've just been too busy to get to this. I'm also in PA and got hit by Isaias on Tuesday...between having no power until yesterday morning and the fact I have two jobs (one of which is extra busy because they sell disaster relief supplies), it'll probably be late tonight or tomorrow before I get to it. All of us are volunteer, so we do this in our free time...something I simply have had very little of since Tuesday. I've been doing what I can on my phone and my lunches until I get an hour or two to sit and just go through everything on here.
  20. Lowercase table names are already supported. Only a root admin can restart the mysql server, and that's by design since there's thousands of people sharing it with you.
  21. Unarchived. It will take a few hours for the domains to start working.
  22. It looks like bihourly is stalled on Johnny... All of the accounts from tonight are sitting waiting to be created. Also 1 delete and 5 renew pending and Apache has about a day on the clock since last restart.
