To elaborate he means contact the people who write that software and ask them to update their software, or if they have an unreleased or newer version that will work on a modern web hosting system.

Since you bought a dedicated IP cPanel is trying to automatically log you in using ssl when you visit that url. Since Heliohost signs our own certificates for ssl to reduce costs to provide you the best free hosting your browser is going to give an error warning you about it. You can either accept the self signed certificate, or you can just log in how we recommend through http://heliohost.org/

It's not possible then because in order to listen on some random port like that would require some sort of executable to be running on that port or an existing service would have to listen on additional ports.
-
Inbound or outbound? Tcp, udp, or both?
-
Try adding your addon domain now.
-
Are you able to change the ports it uses to something else in the configuration?

[Solved] Unexpected Database Error - Mysql Backup Issue
Krydos replied to K_Rivers's topic in Customer Service
Thank you for reporting this issue. You can be assured that we will be watching for anything like this to happen again, and any cause that might lead to database backups failing. If it happens again or if you find a way to reproduce the error please don't hesitate to let us know. I'm glad you were able to restore your databases with a minimum of data loss. It really does sound like you did everything right except verifying that the database backups were complete. -
[Solved] Unexpected Database Error - Mysql Backup Issue

You're the first one that I can remember to report an issue like this happening in the last 3-4 years that i have been active on the forums of the 20,000 or so accounts so it must not be very common. -
http://dot.tk/ seems pretty decent.

In general you don't need to use A records or CNAME records at all to host a domain. Just set the nameservers to ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org. We could help more or verify your settings if you told us what the domain is. EDIT: I looked at your picture a little closer and it looks like your domain is mypenonline.com It looks like all your settings are correct, but the problem is your account was created 2.5 hours ago. Anytime a new domain is added, including creating a new account, you can expect to see the queued page for up to 24 hours. You can access your account and begin uploading files by logging in at http://heliohost.org/

[Solved] Unexpected Database Error - Mysql Backup Issue
Krydos replied to K_Rivers's topic in Customer Service
I guess I misunderstood. I thought you were asking for your old data back, but apparently you are simply asking why the backup didn't work. I have tested the backup database feature on several MySQL databases on Stevie server and after verifying the data in the backup everything seems to be working fine for me. -
Here is 458 MB that you can delete: -rw------- 1 zkb zkb 237M Nov 2 07:55 backup-11.2.2012_07-54-11_zkb.tar.gz -rw------- 1 zkb zkb 221M Aug 21 04:30 backup-8.21.2012_04-21-29_zkb.tar.gz

If you are found to be hosting malware you are given 24 hours to take care of the problem on your own, which is quite lenient compared to similar services. Failure to adequately resolve the issue on your own results in resuspension and removal of the files. Your account is now showing up as clean.

[Solved] Unexpected Database Error - Mysql Backup Issue

Heliohost does not create or save any backups of any kind for users, so the only backups of your database or site would be located in your home directory or downloaded to your personal computer -- if you created any -- which you have as much access as an admin to search. There is no recycle bin or anything like that where old versions of databases are saved. Once something is deleted or overwritten the old version is gone forever. -
Dedicated IP granted.

The specific files that got you suspended this time are: /home/systeam/public_html/files/140.php /home/systeam/public_html/files/vx.pl But in general we recommend making regular backups of your site, downloading the backup, and scanning it using reputable malware scanners.
-
Alright, it's been updated.
-
It would make it easier to fix if you posted a link to where you found that.
-
Your account is now showing up as clean. Thank you for taking care of this.
-
Your account has been manually unsuspended. If you still see the suspended page then you should try clearing your browsers cache. -- Please spare a few minutes to take our brief survey: http://feedback.heliohost.org/ Your participation in this survey is greatly appreciated.

You can both have an account if you want to. The rule is one account per person. A really common misconception is that you need a seperate account for each domain because people don't understand addon domains, etc. so I was just checking to see if that was the case. Just let us know.
-
Your were suspended for the following reason: Malware. 3 file(s). HTML.JScript-1 FOUND That means that there are some malware files found on your account. /home/kliger/public_html/tmp/iskustvo.tar.gz /home/kliger/public_html/ivan.grozny.ru/index2.html /home/kliger/public_html/ascii.org.ru/111.php For your safety, your account has been suspended. You need to clean your files within 24 hours, or you will be suspended again. To find the infected files you can take a backup of your site, download the files to your computer and scan the files using a virus- and malware scanner like AVG Virus scanner and Malwarebytes. If you are you certain that it is a false-positive, we strongly encourage you to file a false positive form here: http://cgi.clamav.net/sendvirus.cgi Your account should be unsuspended now.
