Eddie is the server hardware, while Tommy is a VM living on that hardware. Eddie also hosts Cody, a VM responsible for the forums and website, a name server, and a few other things.

It got suspended for emails again. Please make sure you remove or disable whatever is sending the email. If you don’t know what’s sending them, I can have the account throttled to 1 mail per hour instead while you work to fix it. It got suspended again within minutes. Escalating.
-
Unblocked. It was for failed SFTP logins. Please make sure you didn’t save the wrong password in your ftp client.
-
You’re suspended for sending too many emails. The limit is 50/day. Unsuspended.

Dang...the default first post from our inception is still around?!?!?!? If you keep it up, we're gonna need to add a "History of HelioHost" section Please clear your cache. It's gone for me (using the footer link to the help.)
-
I've removed them from the forums and moved their contents to a hidden forum we have as a trash can. There are times when discussions come up about our past (e.g. the wikipedia article topics) and that information might actually be quite useful because it contains the pricing for our old plans.
-
All of the HelioHost entries in there are long outdated. It's from the days when we were one of those posting-required hosts. That was before my time, and I've been here 6 years. I'll just hide those if I can figure out how...

Php is the most popular and the easiest to use. You don’t need to request it, we support multiple versions, and it’s well documented. It’s also supported nearly everywhere, so you can take your code with you easily if you later decide to move hosts.
-
Your account was suspended for causing high server load. I have unsuspended your account, but please try to limit the load you put on our servers as it slows down not only your site, but the sites of all other HelioHost users sharing your server. <br /><br />If you still see the suspended page, please clear your cache.

We don’t provide Java on secure connections by default for resource reasons, so this is normal. We can enable support for it over SSL for you, but I believe you lose the insecure access if we do.
-
Check the file permissions. They need to be 644, but the default for uploading is 664. Apache does not like files being writable by the group.
-
It looks like the plugin you used is broken. You would get better help by asking on a forum that specializes in WordPress. We don't typically provide software support, and actually recommend people avoid using WordPress because of its security issues anyway.
-
This support request is being escalated to our root admin.

That link is the wrong one. That’s for file manager, and it also doesn’t count your login for inactivity either. Use https://tommy.heliohost.org:2083/ , then go down to the “Software” section and select “Softaculous Apps Installer”.

[Solved] Dedicated Ip Points To The Wrong Area
wolstech replied to Bailey's topic in Escalated Requests
Im not sure honestly since I never looked into it. I imagine the default site for a dedicated IP would be related to something like the order of stuff in the Apache config though. Krydos would know. -
That domain is working. If you still see the queued page, please clear your cache. If that does not help, try another device with a different internet connection (like a cell phone on its data plan).

Port is different if on Johnny or Ricky. 1342 is the tommy port, 1373 is Johnny, and I don’t remember Ricky’s at the moment...

[Solved] Dedicated Ip Points To The Wrong Area
wolstech replied to Bailey's topic in Escalated Requests
The wiki software is causing that redirect most likely. Try moving the index and htaccess out of the wiki folder and see if it continues. The site shown by the ip is not always the one on your main domain. Mine is http://66.220.18.187/ and it gives me the content of https://si3.raxsoft.com/ Thats a subdomain of an alias that I have (though oddly that happens to be the most used thing on my account, Im fine with it). Also, your dedicated ip can be used for FTP as well. I had to use mine for this during the outage on Friday. If you had it enabled beforehand (cP wont work to enable it) remote MySQL can be used over it too I believe (I didnt, so I used ssh and command line tools though that wont apply for non-admins). -
Yeah, it has a limit per day like Tommy. It resets at midnight UTC (not PST).

It's archived. Escalating to have it restored.

[Solved] War Deployment Script On Tommy Down?
wolstech replied to couch81's topic in Escalated Requests
If it never finishes deploying, there's two reasons for it, but odds are good that the war failed at this point. Krydos can check the logs. Escalating. -
Escalating.
