Reverse DNS for your VPS has been set up as requested. MoneyBroz will be starting the rebuild soon.
-
The Python module email is part of the standard install and doesn't need to be requested. The other modules were installed. You can see the current list of installed modules and their versions for Tommy's Python 3.12 at https://krydos1.heliohost.org/pyinfo/info3.12.py

The new backup including the website directory has been uploaded to the https://heliohost.org/backup/ system. Let us know if you have everything you need now. Once your VPS is rebuilt everything is deleted permanently and there is no way to recover it.
-
Yeah, definitely. Just put your public key value in /home/username/.ssh/authorized_keys and then login without a password.
-
Looks like there was a root login from 83.84.116.55 which doesn't appear to be you.

Do you have a list of files that you want backed up prior to rebuilding the VPS?

4 hours ago you logged in from a Cuban IP address. 8 days ago you also logged in from a Cuban IP address. On our homepage https://heliohost.org it says "Please note: HelioHost is a US based organization so federal regulations prohibit us from accepting donations or even providing free service to anyone in Iran, Cuba, North Korea, or Syria." In our terms of service https://heliohost.org/terms it says "HelioHost is based in the USA. Federal Regulations prohibit us from accepting donations, providing free services, or providing paid services to anyone in Iran, Cuba, Syria, or North Korea." If you have a suggestion on how to make these statements clearer so future Cubans won't make the same mistake of creating an account please let us know. There has been talk that the US may lift sanctions on Cuba in the next few years. Once that happens you are welcome to recreate your account. We have about 6000 other users, and it would really be a shame for all of them to lose their hosting service too because we allowed one free account from Cuba to remain unsuspended and the US government shuts us down. It's nothing personal. I recommend using a hosting service that isn't based in the US. You can download your full backup from https://heliohost.org/backup if you need any of your files.

[Solved] Question about mailbox size with Tommy
Krydos replied to epicman212's topic in Escalated Requests
Yeah, it's pointless to mess with it right now because you're still on the old plan and any changes we make may be reverted when you change the the new plan. Keep an eye on the Account tab and when it says "HelioHost 2000 MB" instead of "HelioHost 2000 MB old" then we can take a look at it if it's not fixed already. -
[Solved] Question about mailbox size with Tommy
Krydos replied to epicman212's topic in Escalated Requests
When we fixed the 503 error we uncovered some strange bugs in the most recent versions of Plesk which caused some permissions to disappear. We are still in the process of transferring people from the old broken plans to the new ones. You can tell if you've been moved by going to 1. Login at https://heliohost.org/login/ 2. Continue to Plesk 3. Account in left menu 4. Check Plan Name As you can see you're on an "old" plan currently. Also it looks like your mailbox size is unlimited, not 100 MB. -
You can't use your account? Is there something wrong with it?

[HH#813997] Your domain should start working in about ...
Krydos replied to HelioHost's topic in Email Support
I took a closer look at your account, and found the issue. Your account was created in 2018 on cPanel. A lot of the old cPanel transfer accounts have strange issues like this. When people start having issues with the old cPanel transfer accounts we always recommend doing a full reset so you have an account that was created directly on Plesk rather than having all these strange bugs. Whether you decide to reset your account or not, your slovenskycuvac.tk domain should be working now. -

The very first troubleshooting suggestion on the queued page you're talking about lists "Clear your browser cache". Let us know if you there is a better way to explain that. -

Yeah, I see the PayPal payment went through. Your VPS has been powered back on. Thanks.

Your VPS has been powered off until you get the payment figured out.

Ok, that's fine. Just keep us updated, and we'll keep your VPS online. If the issue is with PayPal we could also provide a Stripe payment link, but since you've gotten PayPal to work before in the past you should be fine with this default link. https://heliohost.org/vps/pay/?code=k8Kn93fMv2DknrwN

Have you made any progress on paying for your VPS? Your payment is now 7 days overdue.

[Solved] upstream timed out (110: Connection timed out)
Krydos replied to paic's topic in Escalated Requests
No. That's why I suggested switching to a VPS. Another option is you can switch to Python CGI instead of Flask. The timeout on CGI can be increased if you need it. -
[Solved] upstream timed out (110: Connection timed out)
Krydos replied to paic's topic in Escalated Requests
You're not causing Nginx to restart. Nginx restarts hundreds of times per day on its own. Each time some domain gets SSL. Each time a new account is created. Each time an account goes inactive. Each time an account gets unarchived. There are tons of reasons for Nginx to restart, so if your code can't handle an Nginx restart, increasing the timeout isn't going to help and you need to get a VPS. -
Your VPS has been downgraded from 10 GB memory to 7 GB memory which brings your monthly total to $23.00 as requested. You can use this new link to pay https://heliohost.org/vps/pay/?code=k8Kn93fMv2DknrwN

No problem. By the time September arrives our VPS billing system should support Stripe so we won't have to manually create payment links for the wrong amount. Haha.
