Open_basedir prevents you from accessing files in other people's accounts. We will not be setting it to none because then you could access other people's files which would be both a privacy concern as well as a security vulnerability. If you need open_basedir disabled you'll need to get a VPS.

Since Plesk comes with such an old version of Magento you probably can't use PHP 8.1. If you want to use the latest version of Magento you'll need to install it from source. It looks like Magento 2.1.0 provided by Plesk supports up to PHP 7.0, but not higher than that. The extension mcrypt was removed in PHP 7.2 I believe so that would explain why it's still looking for that. The latest version of Magento is 2.4.5 released a month ago. The version of Magento provided by the Plesk installed is 2.1.0 which was released in 2016 and reached end of life over 3 years ago. https://endoflife.date/magento

It looks like you were suspended for inactivity because you didn't log in for 30 days. To prevent that from happening again simply visit https://heliohost.org/login/ and submit your username and password to login. Once you successfully reach the dashboard or Plesk control panel you're good for another 30 days. You might also want to check your email spam settings because we send out a warning email 48 hours before your account goes inactive reminding you to login if you're still using your account. Then if you ignore that email and don't login we send a second email letting you know how to renew it if you want to start using it again. Anyways, you figured out how to renew it yourself and your account is active now so this issue seems to be solved. Let us know if you need help with anything else.

If you look at https://heliohost.org/vps/ you can see if VPS are full or not. As of the time of this post Mercury, Mars, Venus, and Earth are available, but Saturn and Jupiter say full because we don't have enough memory to build them. If you go to the custom VPS option the button at the bottom will change from continue to full if you slide the memory bar past what we have available.

Technically anyone with a Github account can edit our wiki. Just fork it, make your changes, and create a pull request. We will review the changes, and if it looks good we can merge it into our main documentation. We only have 4 GB free memory right now so we can't tie up 2 GB on a free trial. Paying users have to come first. Normally it wouldn't be a problem to do a free trial when we have plenty of free memory, but if I give you 2 GB free memory for a few days that could potentially mean multiple paying customers would be turned away because we are too full to create new VPS.
