  1. However you uploaded your files just created the names but didn't upload the contents of the files. The directories and everything are there but all the file sizes are zero and have no content.
  2. Usually when I see that error that a domain is owned by another user it's because that user has created multiple accounts.
  3. That username and/or domain is not located on our system. Most likely it was deleted due to inactivity. Feel free to create a new account and restore any backup data you may have, because Heliohost does not keep any backups of your data once your account has been deleted. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we have to automatically delete inactive accounts to make room for users who are still active otherwise our servers would soon be overloaded. To prevent this from happening again in the future don't forget to log into your account at least once every 30 days.
  4. It's been added.
  5. I saw iceitsup manually reset your password yesterday; were you ever able to get logged in?
  6. Tomcat restarts on it's own from time to time, and if you need it restarted for a particular reason then you can make a post requesting a restart.
  7. Open the public_html/config/config.php file in an editor and change the line and then save your changes. CPanel even includes an editor in the file manager to make it really easy.
  8. Maybe try changing this root@stevie [/home1/coldwin]# grep -r 'pacificnetwork.co.cc' public_html/* public_html/config/config.php: define('ROOT_URL', 'http://pacificnetwork.co.cc'); and anywhere else in your site that you have pacificnetwork.co.cc hard coded in.
  9. Your account was suspended for running 5 cronjobs in one day. You are limited to 2 cronjobs. Your account has been unsuspended.

  11. Nope, only admins have access to restart tomcat.
  12. No, you can only remove it from the deletion queue once. If you try again it is no longer queued for deletion because it has already been reactivated.
  13. Well that wasn't my intention. My intention was to explain things to you calmly because you seemed to be panicking quite a bit. Your choices at this point are to cancel the account deletion to continue with your current account or allow the deletion to go through in order to recreate your account on Stevie. What do you want to do?
  14. Johnny isn't down and actually has less downtime so far today than a few days ago. If your talking about the little load image and the x on the home screen there was a bug in the server monitoring scripts but it's fixed now. Johnny will always have less uptime than Stevie because mono and java cause a lot of spiky load and when the load gets too high it makes pages load slowly or not at all.
  15. Yes, server changes usually take 48 hours or less, but account creation and deletion causes a lot of load so it can take longer if things are overloaded. There is not an easier way to switch servers because each person is only allowed one account so you have to delete your old account before you can create your new one. If you have been following the instructions in the wiki the the first step is to backup everything you want to keep so it's not possible to follow the instructions and lose everything because you have a backup. As of the time of this post your account has not been deleted yet so if you want to cancel the deletion type your username into this tool http://www.heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/renew
  16. Ok, it's added, and your nameservers are set correctly http://byrondallas.h...iaga.org&rec=NS so now all you need to do is wait for the queued page to go away which can take up to 24 hours and everything should be good. Also keep in mind that if you get caught with more than one account our policy is to suspend them all immediately and then you get to choose one to be unsuspended so you might not want to do that again.
  17. One idea would be to delete your old backup files after you download them. When I took a look at your account you had 3 backups that were each about 190 MB. I deleted all but the newest for you so your account wouldn't be suspended again for the same thing, but in the future you need to delete your own files.
  18. Yeah, I don't know a single person who has ever used frontpage for anything. Well, maybe my great grandma used it to do some genealogy or something, but who really cares what great grandma's are doing unless it's baking cookies, right?
  19. Heliohost still supports frontpage and has it's extensions installed by default, because web host rating webpages still track it and score us based on whether we have it installed. In order to have the highest score and therefore appear at the top of the page we have to keep it around. Talk to the web host rating websites and get them to stop checking for frontpage and we'll stop having it installed by default. Example: Here is the top result of googling for "free web host" http://www.free-webhosts.com/webhosting-01.php
  20. If you just need your account to be created quickly you should have chosen Johnny. New accounts on Johnny are currently taking about 5 seconds to be created. You have to wait a little longer for Stevie accounts. If your question is whether new accounts are being created, they are; you're number 26 now. The reason new accounts take so long to create is because it causes a lot of load to create new account so the server balances the creation throughout the day so it doesn't overload the current active accounts.
  21. Glad your problem got solved! Please spare a few minutes to take our brief survey: http://feedback.heliohost.org/ Your participation in this survey is greatly appreciated.
  22. It looks like you got a temporary ban by the automated DDoS protection and a bug prevented it from clearing automatically with time like it is supposed to. The same bug prevented searching for your IP so it returned that you weren't banned even though you were. Anyways, glad its working for you now.
  23. Most of the full backup is worthless to you, that's why we recommend making partial backups. You need to download the backup file to your computer and extract it. Look for the home directory archive inside the main archive and upload the file structure to your public_html directory, and if you had any databases you can extract those and import the .sql files through phpmyadmin. Then just recreate any addon, parked or sub domains that you had before and you should be set.
