During the donation process you can provide an email address. We're able to see that email address and if it matches an account in our system we can automatically provide the thank you gifts to that account based on the donation amount made from that email address. You can also just make the donation and then tell us the email address that you donated with.

The oldest PHP version we support on our shared hosting is 5.4. PHP 5.2 reached end of life 9 years and 8 months ago. If you really need to use PHP 5.2 still you'll need to purchase a VPS https://www.heliohost.org/vps/ and install PHP 5.2 from source. EDIT: I read about your eregi() error and it looks like it should work in PHP 5.6 or older. The default on Johnny is 7.2, but you can change to 5.6, 5.5, or 5.4 in cpanel Multi PHP button.

Your index.php was 646 permissions. When I changed it to 644 it works now.

It looks like you submitted your email address, but haven't selected your server, or username, or password, or agreed to the terms, etc. All of the servers are full right now, but if you click the validation link in that email at midnight UTC that is when free signups reset for the day. Unfortunately our service is much more popular than we have capacity on our servers so we have to limit the number of free accounts created each day. Tommy usually fills in less than 10 seconds, Ricky usually lasts 5 mins to an hour, and Johnny usually stays open for at least an hour. The number of free accounts we give out each day varies based on the load of the servers, and how many people abandon their accounts over the previous day. If you don't want to signup at exactly midnight UTC, and you want to skip the hassle of trying to get a free account we do offer another option. Donors are allowed to create an account at any time of the day on our best server Tommy, even if he's full for the day. All that is required is a donation of $1 USD or more at https://www.heliohost.org/tommy/ and a special invitation link will be automatically emailed to you usually within 10 minutes. If it's been a few hours and you still haven't seen the email let us know and we can resend it manually too.

The funny thing about this is if it's a good robot it will obey this rule and not crawl your site. If it's a "bad" robot, which is what OP is trying to block, it will ignore the rules and crawl anyways.

We totally understand. One of HelioHost's main missions is to provide free, quality hosting to people exactly like you who can't afford paid hosting right now. We've actually seen a pretty sizable increase of traffic since the pandemic began which we mostly attribute to people losing their jobs, uncertainty, small businesses trying to cut costs to avoid closing, etc. People need free hosting more than ever. You can still help though even if you can't afford to donate right now. You can share our posts on social media or forward our email to friends and family. You can review us on sites, or post links to our fundraiser wherever. Stuff like that. I think I found it. Is the username helioh14? It has a similar email address to your forum account, but it's heliohost@... instead of helionet@...

After 2021-02-28 your account will go back to needing to log in every 30 days, but the 5000 MB max storage is good as long as the account exists. Sorry for the confusion.
