  5. Just to let you all know: the hurricane past. I'm fine
  6. That map is isn't completely accurate. It didn't go that far in Canada and it started in the Carolinas.
  7. I hate twitter. It's really stupid. @Brother Hassan: They don't have apps, but they recently added a photo feature.
  8. Please see http://wiki.helionet.org/International_Countries By the way, sorry I didn't answer you on IRC before. I was busy preparing for a hurricane
  9. This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
  10. Try changing your domain to something else. If that works, then try changing it back to erh.heliohost.org. I know that that isn't the most ideal thing to do because of the time it takes to change a domain, but I'm not sure what else to try. This would help diagnose the problem (unless another admin knows a way to fix this...).
  11. We have a Paypal donate button on the HelioHost site.
  12. It seems that you accidentally added an "r" to the end of ".org". I just checked your account in our database and your domain is showing as "erh.heliohost.org" (without the "r").

    Down again???

It is clearly noted on http://www.heliohost.org/home/signup that Johnny is unstable: Johnny runs unstable services (Ruby on Rails, ASP.NET, Java/JSP) and therefore is not as stable as Stevie. If you do not need those services, you should move to Stevie. To do so, see http://wiki.helionet.org/Moving_your_account. I apologize for the inconvenience.
  15. Okay, so whenever there is an issue with the records, we (the admins) just have to synchronize the nameservers?
  16. The problem is that the image files are not correctly called or do not exist because according the Firefox web console, the images 404'd. The admins are aware of this issue and are working on fixing it.
  17. I'm a little confused. Is this any different from Byron's DNS checker?

    [SOLVED] Uptime?

Extended downtimes like this are very rare. In fact, we just recently increased the stability/speed of Stevie. To be honest, I am not completely sure exactly what is causing this (though some other admins might), but I am pretty sure it is a side effect of the recent updates/increase of space to 500mb. I anticipate that this will be fixed shortly and I'm sorry that this is your first impression of HelioHost. For reference, you can look at our server monitor archives for the stability of Stevie. Notice how a week ago, there were no significant outages on Stevie.

  24. If this is a one-time thing, the easiest way to do it would be to just add the following line of code to your homepage in the <head> section at 5 and remove it at 9. <meta HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" content="0; url=http://www.yourdomain.com/index.html"> (replace http://www.yourdomain.com/index.html with where you want users to be redirected to) If it is a daily thing, some more coding will be required.
