  1. Please post it in the topic. I have to escalate this to root admin, and they can't see private messages.
  2. I think someone else also asked about it a while back... I don't know what the response was, so I'll escalate this for you. I wouldn't be surprised if it is intentionally turned off though.
  3. If it expired, you should be able to go to a registrar and register for it. Do note that most times there's a grace period for the original owner to get it back if they forgot to renew it, before it goes up for sale to the general public. The biggest issue would be if the domain was used for abuse by its prior owner (e.g. If it was a spam source or a phishing site), in which case the domain might be blacklisted by security services.
  4. Just sign up on Stevie. If you need your domain removed from Johnny, please post the domains that need to be removed.
  5. Tommy is functionally the same as Johnny but with Stevie's limited signups and load restrictions, and much newer software. Tommy isn't available yet though (not fully tested, and Java is broken), so you have to use Stevie for now.
  6. We've already had one MyISAM database that failed to backup due to a single crashed table that was repairable, so it's possible it's still there... Escalating so Krydos can take a second look.
  7. These may or may not still exist. Tables using InnoDB are likely to be damaged or gone as a result of a recent crash, though the database itself seems kind of odd. Escalating.
  8. Unsuspended. Please remove the contents of your public_html folder quickly.
  9. Yep. I think a lot of us have done that at this point. Back when we used to reset this based on PST instead of UTC, I had to sign up at 3AM to get my Stevie account...
  10. Hello, I backed up all my files but I could not find any .sql file in y root directory. Is there any other way to get them? Did the database use InnoDB?
  11. Your spam suspension looks to have been caused by malware, as shown by these lines: X-Source-Args: /usr/bin/php /home/erichoog/public_html/images/fbfiles/files/help42.php X-Source-Dir: erichoog.heliohost.org:/public_html/images/fbfiles/files /public_html/fbfiles/files/help42.php sent the spam in this case. That file likely got installed by other malware or a security vulnerability on your site.I would recommend everything inside your public_html folder (do not delete the public_html folder itself!) and rebuilding your site using the latest, up to date version of your software, since there's no way to ensure you fully removed the malware or fixed the security issue otherwise. We only give you one chance to fix your spam problem. Let me know when you're ready to deal with the issue and I'll unsuspend your account.

  13. This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
  14. I think daylight savings time might have me off by an hour. They should reset in just over twenty minutes from the time of this post...(I know they open at 8PM local for me, I'm US East Coast) Update: they're open now.
  15. Correct. None of those are supported on Stevie. Your choices are PHP 5.3.8, Python 2.x and 3.x, and Perl if you're on Stevie.
  16. This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
  17. Johnny databases should be in your home directory as a .sql file already. If there is no .sql file for that database (or it is empty), it likely used InnoDB and cannot be backed up at the moment. Once we rebuild Johnny (whenever that is, likely months), we're planning to attempt recovery of the InnoDB databases, but there's no way to do so while the server is damaged. You can retrieve the file via FTP if it exists.
  18. Your databases have been saved to your home directory as .sql files. Your database backups and other files can be retrieved via FTP from Johnny: http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/25786-johnny-backups/ If you need a domain removed, please download your data first, then let us know what domains you need removed from your Johnny account so we can get them deleted for you.
  19. Johnny is broken beyond repair. You need to move to Stevie, and switch to a language supported by Stevie to host your site (Java is not supported on Stevie). Stevie supports PHP 5.3, Python, and Perl for programming languages and has MySQL, pgsql, and sqlite for databases. Please see http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/25786-johnny-backups/ for more information on how to backup any data you may have uploaded to Johnny.
  20. I assume you're on Stevie. Did these use InnoDB by chance? if so, they probably got lost in the recent InnoDB crash. Please restore your latest backup. If you need further assistance, please post your username and server so we can look into it.
  21. Just split this, then realized you already made your own topic...merged.
  22. @vietstar: It's rather confusing when you post in other people's topics asking for help with a different problem. I've moved your post to its own thread here: http://www.helionet.org/index/topic/25844-domain-change/
  23. To add to my earlier post, the backups in your home directories represent all the databases we can back up from your account. Databases and tables using InnoDB were not backed up and will be missing/empty because they cannot be backed up with the server crashed (mysql must be running, which it cannot do while /var and /usr are read only). We recommend using your latest pre-crash backup to recover these databases.
  24. Dear Root Admin ! Can you help me backups database vietstar_nuke3 of www.vietstar.tk at Johnny server and let me download via ftp ? Thanks so much ! Check for a .sql file in your home folder. If the backup does not exist, it is because the data was stored in InnoDB format and cannot be backed up. Please use your most recent backup from before the crash instead. It resets at midnight UTC. Your IP suggests you're in Poland, so it resets every day around 1AM for you. It only allows a few hundred accounts per day to prevent overwhelming the server, and because everyone is trying to move right now, it fills quickly. You can see the green bar under "Registration" (the first bar) here to see how long it typically lasts per day: http://heliohost.grd.net.pl/monitor/
  25. The databases are already backed up and are sitting in your home directory for you to download over FTP.
