  1. Not sure how this got marked solved. Do you still need this?
  2. Split from donation topic. Lets see what Krydos says, but I can't reproduce these results, so I suspect there's something on your end causing it. We have numerous users here who live in China, and you're the only one having such a performance issue.
  3. I've moved your issue here so Krydos can check: https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/35397-lost-packets-poor-connection-from-china/ Lets see what he says...I can't reproduce these results though, so I suspect there's something on your end causing it. It's worth noting that none of our servers are fast (when compared to something like a VPS), though Tommy is usually the fastest of them.
  4. Ricky (our slowest server at the moment) has the newest version we support. Johnny is second, and Tommy is oldest. There are no plans to upgrade the servers at this time. Please note that the cpanel version does not affect speed either...Tommy just has more load than Johnny at the moment (which is odd considering Tommy is usually our fastest server). If you want the latest cPanel, you will need to be moved to Ricky, which is not advised (it will cause your site to be very slow). All of our servers are running at near-normal speeds at the moment, however higher ping times are normal for some users in Asia due to distance (I've seen 200ms when testing through VPNs). In the USA, ping time of 70ms isn't uncommon and is basically normal. Tommy is the best server for stability though. Johnny and Ricky see slowness from load a lot. All of our metrics and history can be seen here: http://heliohost.grd.net.pl/monitor/ (For accuracy reasons, this monitor is not owned or operated by HelioHost. It represents an independent party's view of our services' current and historical performance)
  5. The acconut liuzxdp has been moved to Tommy. The account liuzxdpx (with the X on the end) has been suspended since you're only allowed one account. Please clear your cache and flush your DNS if you're unable to log in or see your website. For the IP for Chinese users, please watch this topic for a response: https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/35396-ip-for-chinese-users/ Thank you for the donation.
  6. Do we still have an IP specifically for Chinese users? I have a user over here who asked, and I haven't seen a post on this in well over 2 years... https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/28384-donate/page-2?do=findComment&comment=157109
  7. Moving... As for a separate IP for chinese users, I will ask Krydos about this. We do not offer ad removal. Also, your second account will be suspended because having two accounts violates our terms of service.
  8. Done. You should now be able to log in and your website should start working within 2 hours.
  9. The username is actually geo (it comes up when I search by email). I'll unarchive it when I get to a pc later this morning.
  10. So I just noticed this while banning a phishing site...Johnny's suspension page doesn't work. The account suspends, but visiting a suspended account produces a 403 Forbidden error instead of the suspension page...
  11. Thank you for the donation. We don't offer ad removal unfortunately. You do get an account on our best server though (you'll get an email about that if you don't already have an account). As for the separate IP, we used to have one specifically for Chinese users, I'm not sure if we still do though. Please post that request over in Customer Service and we'll be happy check into that for you.
  12. First you deny it, now you claim it's your friend... For multiple accounts, if there are in fact two people, each will need to provide photos of government ID for themselves as well as which account belongs to which. (Please PM me for privacy, once verified you can delete them). Note that the second person cannot be related to you. Also, if we find content to be shared between the two accounts, we might suspend you again for evading the disk space limit. Finally, if these are both in fact yours, it is possible to host more than one website on an account if thats your concern. You can also buy extra disk space if that's an issue, and we can send you the contents of the suspended account so you don't lose your data.
  13. /var/tmp is one of two temp folders on the server (the other being /tmp). A lot of software stores stuff like update packages waiting to be installed in there during longer tasks. Newer PHP versions store session data and the like in there as well. The disk space problems occur when, over time, those tasks don't clean up after themselves and leave the files behind (usually due to task failure)...they eventually just pile up and it runs out of space. In theory it's possible to create a cpanel module to remove all files you own from the temp folder, but since users can't really see what they have in the temp folders, it's kind of pointless. When it fills up we just clean it out all at once.
  14. Seems to be. They're all showing as up again and I'm able to reach the mail server now.
  15. Another interesting thing, PHP is still able to send mail...I received a daily report email from one of my programs without an issue overnight (it's sent with mail() so that's at least working...)
  16. Done. Note that when your current cert expires, AutoSSL will not provide coverage for the mail domain because it won't validate (this is normal since mail usually redirects to cPanel anyway). It might also not renew on its own the first time around because the current cert does cover mail and the replacement wouldn't. If that happens, let me know and I can run it manually for you. 9:54:54 AM This system has AutoSSL set to use “cPanel (powered by Comodo)”. 9:54:54 AM Checking websites for “deny” … 9:54:56 AM The website “vonitsanet.denied.gr”, owned by “deny”, has a valid SSL certificate, but additional SSL coverage may be possible for the domain “www.vonitsanet.denied.gr”. The system will attempt to replace this certificate with one that includes this additional domain. 9:55:00 AM WARN The domain “mail.vonitsanet.gr” failed domain control validation: “mail.vonitsanet.gr” does not resolve to any IPv4 addresses on the internet. 9:55:00 AM WARN The current SSL certificate for “vonitsanet.denied.gr” secures the domain “mail.vonitsanet.gr”. However, this domain failed local domain control validation. In order to maintain SSL domain coverage for this domain, the system will not attempt to replace the current certificate. 9:55:00 AM The system has completed the AutoSSL check for “deny”.
  17. Fixed. /var/tmp was full because some clown filled it trying to update drupal. I cleaned out the update temp files and it freed 30%. There's a lot of other stuff in there that looks like it could go too, but some of it looks like cPanel stuff so I'll leave that for Krydos. The /var/tmp was to blame for PHP acting up, but I still have no idea why exim won't start. I'm guessing it's the swap file, but there's tons of regular RAM free.
  18. PHP 5.6 and newer are currently unavailable on Tommy due to technical issues with the server. Also, mail services are currently down on Tommy regardless of software version. PHP 5.4 and 5.5 are working properly. PHP 7.2: https://krydos.heliohost.org/72/phpinfo.php (broken, 500 error) PHP 7.1: https://krydos.heliohost.org/71/phpinfo.php (broken, 500 error) PHP 7.0: https://krydos.heliohost.org/70/phpinfo.php (broken, 500 error) PHP 5.6: https://krydos.heliohost.org/56/phpinfo.php (broken, 500 error) PHP 5.5: https://krydos.heliohost.org/55/phpinfo.php (working) PHP 5.4: https://krydos.heliohost.org/54/phpinfo.php (working)
  19. There's 2 solutions for this. Change the name servers entire for a few minutes to add the domain as an addon, then change them back after adding it and create an A record. You might need to use a different registrar if your current one can't do this for some reason. Note your domain will stop working for the duration of the change and setup. Or, use domain.com as your main domain and set an A record pointed to us instead. Note that in either configuration, the DNS, mail, and subdomains functionality won't work unless you create all the required dns records manually every time you do something. It might be easier to transfer the domain and use us for the DNS, and add the google records manually instead.
  20. That domain is working properly for me. Is it still not working for you? (Ricky has been experiencing severe load and a lot of downtime today, so you probably tried in the middle of such an event). http://heliohost.grd.net.pl/monitor/
  21. It depends. If it was a case where something like WP got malware, we make them remove the infected software and reinstall it to clean it up. If it was intentional spam (usually more of a Johnny issue...), yeah, banned.

  23. There is not. It's intentionally disabled due to a history of abuse (botnets and pirated/nulled software). Your only option would be to buy a VPS, where you can install anything you want: https://www.heliohost.org/vps/
