[Solved] Outbound Port For Fsockopen...
Ice IT Support replied to wolstech's topic in Escalated Requests
Both inbound and outbound ports on HelioHost are restricted to what's necessary. -
Please post the following information: Your cPanel username Your main domain The server that you are on

The account dniel has been unsuspended. Next time, please be sure to request permission in Customer Service to have one account on both servers first. It is still possible to do so.

Your account is fine. The issue is that you set your domain's A record to Cody's IP address. Cody hosts HelioHost's main website and HelioNet, not any user accounts. Your account is on Stevie, and the IP to use is 216.218.192.170

Profile Database Problem
Ice IT Support replied to schimpfk's topic in Website Management and Coding
If you manually add information through phpMyAdmin to the bio column, does that info display on userinfo.php and/or the textarea on useredit.php? Also, consider using this for your textarea code: <textarea class="center" name="bio" maxlength="10000"> <?php if($form->value("bio") == ""){ echo $session->userinfo['bio']; }else{ echo $form->value("bio"); } ?> </textarea> -
[Solved] Access On Two Accounts From Same Ip Address
Ice IT Support replied to kyoushuu's topic in Customer Service
As long as you demonstrate that the accounts are clearly used by separate parties and we don't get reports regarding either account, there shouldn't be an issue. Basically, don't give us any reasons to suspect you are trying to break our policies. -
[Solved] Suspended: Rparvaz
Ice IT Support replied to rparvaz's topic in Suspended and Queued Accounts
Your account was suspended for causing high MySQL load. I have unsuspended your account, but please try to limit the MySQL load you put on our servers as it slows down MySQL for not only your site, but MySQL for all of the other HelioHost users sharing your server. If you still see the suspended page, please clear your cache. -

cPanel not displaying the correct domain is not an issue with your DNS. Your NS records are set correctly and DNS is configured properly, but cPanel is throwing a fit. To verify that the issue is on our end, please try logging in to cPanel from another device, such as a different computer or mobile phone.

[Solved] Exceeded The Max Emails Per Hour (1) Allowed
Ice IT Support replied to condell's topic in Customer Service
A1: You can protect directories with passwords by using the Password Protect Directories module in cPanel: http://stevie.heliohost.org:2082/frontend/x3/htaccess/index.html A3: That must be done by an admin. Someone will take care of that shortly. -

[Inactive] Confirming Payment For Stevie Ssl Account
Ice IT Support replied to skullys's topic in Customer Service
First you'll need to add your domain skully.com to your cPanel account and set NS records for the domain to ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org Once that is done, post here letting us know along with your PayPal transaction/payment ID. It is not necessary to have a separate account for each domain. You can use parked or addon domains to have multiple domains under one account. If you want to have an account on Stevie and an account on Johnny (typically one for your main site and the other for experimenting with Java/RoR/ASP.net), please create a new topic in customer service with your current account username/domain/server and your reason for wanting two accounts. -
The 500 error looks like an issue with your index page. Look for any error_log files in the folder where that page is stored. To change your main domain, use http://heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/domain How did you install mybb? Through Softaculous or did you upload it from your computer?
-
Unfortunately, accounts on Johnny take a bit longer to come out of the queue due to the server being the more unstable of the two. Please wait another 24-48 hours and clear your cache.

[Solved] I Have Trouble Creating Johnny Account
Ice IT Support replied to lujitao's topic in Customer Service
As kyoshuu suggested, you have to give it some time. Try it now. -
Search for any error_log files in your public_html folder and subfolders. If there's anything SQL or database related found in one, please post it. Also, Stevie has been experiencing irregularly high load the past two days. If this is a recent issue, that could be a potential cause.

Host And Port Of Cpanel Email
Ice IT Support replied to national's topic in Website Management and Coding
Please create a new topic in Customer Service with this issue. -
That is because an account has already been registered from your IP, and looks to be created by you. Users are only allowed to have one account. The account in question is politica, which is inactive. You may renew it at http://heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/renew

Using Index.php As Home Page In Joomla
Ice IT Support replied to MrProsser's topic in Website Management and Coding
I get the 500 error when visiting http://tstewart.heliohost.org/joomlaSite/index.php directly. This means it is an issue with index.php. Your .htaccess file should work fine. Look for a file named error_log in public_html/joomlaSite. That should give a clue to the issue. -
Please be patient. We are volunteers who help out at HelioHost on our own time.
