When asking for a domain, please make sure you provide all the following information: Your hosting account username The full domain name you want, including the top-level domain (TLD): If you're using HelioHost's domains, specify either helioho.st or heliohost.us before the domain you want (for example: coralsherwin2.helioho.st). If you've purchased a custom domain, specify the TLD (such as coralsherwin2.com, coralsherwin2.net, etc.) You can read more about the information we need to add a domain to your account on our technical documentation Wiki page at: https://wiki.helionet.org/Addon_Domains

I'll mark this as [Solved] so we know you're not waiting for Support to do anything on this thread. 🙂 If you change your mind, please make a new post to let us know you want to move to Morty for free while Johnny is being fixed. Thanks!

Looks like your account was moved to a new server on Sept 23 2024, probably because of the server upgrade that happened during that time. I can't see if your account has remote access currently, but server moves will remove the remote access, so I suspect that's what happened here since the "no pg_hba.conf entry for host" error matches the usual indicator that remote access is not enabled. I'm escalating this thread so a root admin can set up the remote access for you.

Yes, your VPS domain can be changed in the future. If you decide to purchase your own domain later on, we'd recommend Namecheap since HelioHost has an affiliate agreement with them. You can read more about that in the Wiki here: https://wiki.helionet.org/How_You_Can_Help#Use_Our_Affiliate_Links Once you're ready to purchase the domain, if you want to do it with Namecheap you can click on the banner graphic on the Wiki page, or use the link below so HelioHost gets a bit of commission for the referral. Please note that you may need to disable your adblocker or add the link to your allow list for the link to work: https://heliohost.org/partners/namecheap In the meantime, I've escalated this support request to our VPS admins who can add the free domain for you.

I've added that domain to your account for you. Please note that it may take up to 2 hours for the domain change to take effect. If after a full 2 hours it doesn't work on your side, please make sure you clear your web browser cache: https://wiki.helionet.org/Clear_Your_Cache

Hello! I've added those domains to your account for you. Please note that it may take up to 2 hours for the domain changes to take effect, and they will not work until you set up your DNS with your domain registrar. To configure your DNS, please see the steps provided on our Wiki to either set NS records pointed at the HelioHost nameservers, or create A/AAAA records and point them to your server's IPv4/IPv6 address: https://wiki.helionet.org/Addon_Domains#Custom_Addon_Domains If after a full 2 hours it doesn't work on your side, please make sure you clear your web browser cache: https://wiki.helionet.org/Clear_Your_Cache Thanks!

Hello. It looks like you've now raised a new support request for this query under reference HH#272231 sent 1 hour ago: https://helionet.org/index/topic/67801-hh272231-hh343239/ All HelioHost staff are unpaid volunteers, so there is no guaranteed timeframe for a response to support requests. Help is generally provided within 24 hours, and we encourage users to bump their requests if it's been more than 24 hours with no response, in case we missed it somehow. Our best efforts to respond within 24 hours can be impacted by several factors, including but not limited to: Time zone differences (most staff are based in North America) Work School Family Other real-life commitments Since all staff are unpaid volunteers who donate their free time outside of real-life commitments (paid job, school, family, etc.) we prefer to eliminate unnecessary duplication of time and work. Where would you prefer to receive a reply? Under this new request HH#27223 or on your original one HH#343239? For guidance on where and how to ask for help, see: https://wiki.helionet.org/FAQ#Where_do_I_ask_for_help? Thanks!

Do you want metalost2.helioho.st or another domain? Apologies for not making it clearer that the VPS admins will need to know the full domain you want. Unless for the first time ever someone says "surprise me!" and we'll see how creative they get. 🙂

[Solved] 500 Internal Server Error on atenahub.app.br (Morty server)

This support request is being escalated to our root admins who can add the modules and WSGI control for you, and confirm if there's a morty2 pyinfo link set up. -
Which free domain would you like? They are offered with helioho.st or heliohost.us endings. Once the domain is added for you, the email authentication settings can be set up by an admin.
-
I've added the vve.net domain to your account in the meantime. Once you've pointed your DNS, it should take effect after the next Apache reset which is set to begin in about 50 minutes.

Not only have you bumped your own post in this thread (which can delay responses to you since we tend to look for the oldest timestamp first), but you've also posted the same question in another thread here: https://helionet.org/index/topic/67733-when-it-rains-it-pours/#findComment-301442 Since all staff are unpaid volunteers who donate their free time outside of real-life commitments (paid job, school, family, etc.) we prefer to eliminate unnecessary duplication of time and work. Hello! You should be able to delete your Morty account yourself by going to: https://heliohost.org/dashboard/delete/ If you encounter an issue while trying to delete your Morty account yourself, we can do it for you. To proceed with an admin-assisted account deletion, please let us know if: 1) you want your files deleted, or if 2) you'd rather just archive the account. If you choose to archive it, you can come back months or years later and restore your files back the way they were. If you delete the account the files are completely removed from our server. Thanks!

I've flagged your question about the date of the backup in the staff channel. I don't have full system access or visibility of all the server files, but Krydos does. He's got a lot on his plate right now, but he'll reply in this thread with his findings when he can.

It looks like the last backup HelioHost staff made was indeed on Jan 28 2026, as part of what we try to do before deleting domains from your account. If you created a backup more recently than that, and downloaded it to your local machine, you can use your own backup instead. To restore the backup, you would need to extract the data from the tzst files, and then re-upload the data to the relevant folders inside your account. Unfortunately there isn't a way to provide the tzst to Plesk and have it know where to put everything. There are a few ways you can extract the file, depending on if you use Linux, Windows. We offer some more guidance and screenshots here: https://wiki.helionet.org/Account_Backups but let us know if you get stuck on anything.

Account names can't be duplicated across servers. If you move back to Johnny once the server is fixed, you'll have your old username waiting for you. Or, if you prefer to stay on Morty and have your old username, that's something we can help with. It is a bit pointless since no one sees your username except you and staff, but personally I can understand having a preference even if no one else sees it. 🙂 To change account names, it'd involve an account reset on Morty (once your old Johnny account is removed to free up the username). I've added those domains to your account for you. Please note that it may take up to 2 hours for the changes to take effect, and they will not work until you set up your DNS with your domain registrar. To configure your DNS, please see the steps provided on our Wiki to either set NS records pointed at the HelioHost nameservers, or create A/AAAA records and point them to your server's IPv4/IPv6 address: https://wiki.helionet.org/Addon_Domains#Custom_Addon_Domains If after a full 2 hours the new domains don't work on your side, please make sure you clear your web browser cache: https://wiki.helionet.org/Clear_Your_Cache For the details needed to use FTP, please have a look at this page in our technical documentation which contains the port/protocol/etc. you'll need: https://wiki.helionet.org/Uploading_Files
