I'm sure it's possible to do that, but it likely takes a lot more memory than just using traditional shared hosting. We don't have unlimited memory so we try to cram as many people into the memory that we do have as possible. I might experiment with it though some time. Thanks for mentioning it.

Yeah, Bitcoin is great. If people would like to pay for VPS with crypto I would prefer if they paid for at least 6 months at a time because I have to manually keep track of non-PayPal payments and edit the database by hand. If people pay via PayPal the database updates itself and I don't have to do anything. Since we have rather limited staff it's always best to automate things as much as possible. The VPS payments page is working 100% now, but at the time of that post only people with an address in the US could buy a VPS because PayPal thought we needed to physically ship something to them. I fixed that problem by setting NO_SHIPPING flag on the payment. That allows anyone in any country to order a VPS because PayPal knows we're not sending them any physical product.

Since it's not possible to unarchive accounts right now the full backup of your account has been added to https://www.heliohost.org/backup/ This backup contains all files, all databases, all emails, and everything else on your account.

Only active accounts were automatically added to the backup system. Since your account was archived it had to be added manually. You should be able to download it from https://www.heliohost.org/backup/ now.

We're going to try to do a zero downtime transfer for the Tommy accounts to the new Plesk server. It looks like it might be possible, and we'll make an official news post when we know for sure that it will work.

Yes, what is the transaction id? I’m not seeing any transactions in PayPal using your email address. Thanks. I think this is why the payment isn't being linked to your VPS in the system. Once you provide the transaction id everything should be fine. You can email it to me or post it here.

It's hard to estimate because we've never installed Plesk before. It may take some time before we can have everything set up correctly. What server are you on? Tommy will be switched over first. We will be transferring the existing accounts so you won't need to register again.

When we rebuild the server with Plesk we will attempt to restore all the cPanel accounts onto the new control panel. We've never done it before, but all files and databases, and emails and everything should be transferred over automatically. If anything is missing you can extract it from the full backup and set it back up. You won't lose your domain.

We will be providing free hosting again as soon as we rebuild our servers with Plesk.
