  1. I found this in the log 2021-11-03 07:45:58 1miAy2-000CCQ-2y H=mout.gmx.net [212.227.17.21]:53217 Warning: "SpamAssassin as XXX detected message as NOT spam (0.0)" 2021-11-03 07:45:58 1miAy2-000CCQ-2y <= XXX@gmx.de H=mout.gmx.net [212.227.17.21]:53217 P=esmtps X=TLS1.2:ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384:256 CV=no S=4388 id=034301d7d086$ba410f60$2ec32e20$@gmx.de T="PushMail H H 1 M\374nster" for XXX@XXX.heliohost.org 2021-11-03 07:46:07 dovecot_plain authenticator failed for (localhost.localdomain) [65.19.143.6]:40748: 535 Incorrect authentication data (set_id=XXX@XXX.heliohost.org) 2021-11-03 07:46:07 1miAy2-000CCQ-2y ** |/home/XXX/mail/helio_test.pl <XXX@XXX.heliohost.org> R=central_filter T=jailed_virtual_address_pipe: Child process of jailed_virtual_address_pipe transport returned 255 (could mean shell command ended by signal 127 (Unknown signal 127)) from command: /usr/local/cpanel/bin/jailexec Are you sure you have the correct password? It says "incorrect authentication data".
  2. Nothing that I know of has changed during that time frame. Without any error messages or any way to test it myself all I can do is just try things randomly I guess to see if it starts working again. I restarted exim. Does it work now?
  3. How recently? The last day? The last week? Yeah, I didn't think anything email related was working.
  4. Alright, the VPS has been created and an email has been sent which contains the IP to log in to, etc. Let us know if you didn't get the email.
  5. Sorry about that. Sometimes paypal takes a few hours to approve the payment, so you end up getting the message on our website that the payment hasn't been approved yet after you pay. This has only happened a couple of times, but it looks like everything is good now so I've started the VPS creation. You will receive an email to your paypal contact email address with instructions on how to log in to SSH as soon as it's done. Thank you for signing up for our VPS service.

    Johnny Move

    This news post was about moving the Johnny server from our old hard drive array to a new faster hard drive array. Most of the posts in this thread have nothing to do with that so it's being locked. If you have a question about the Plesk move, or need customer service you can post in the questions section https://www.helionet.org/index/forum/48-questions/ or the customer service section https://www.helionet.org/index/forum/45-customer-service/ respectively.

  9. I still don't see a .key file. There's the certificate .crt and there's the ca-bundle, and there's a pkcs7 file .p7b which is just another format of the .crt and ca-bundle added together, but it doesn't include the private key. The good news is this certificate is good until 2022-06-01 as soon as we can find the .key file for it.
  10. The certificate in your home directory expired on 2021-08-30. You'll need to generate a new one. You can copy/paste the text in the certificate.crt file into a tool like this to check its expiration date. https://www.sslshopper.com/certificate-decoder.html Don't copy/paste the private.key though. The contents of that file need to be kept private.

  13. Alright, you have two ssl certificates installed now https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html#hostname=hiker.rocks is good for 84 days and covers hiker.rocks and www.hiker.rocks https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html#hostname=helium.hiker.rocks is good for 90 days and covers helium.hiker.rocks

  15. cPanel has something called AutoSSL that automatically installs SSL for you. However, when your server doesn't have a license AutoSSL doesn't work anymore. Plesk has something similar that automatically installs SSL for you so once your account is moved to Plesk you won't have to worry about it anymore again. There should be 2 or 3 files. Generally they're called private.key, certificate.crt, and ca_bundle.crt. Sometimes the ca_bundle and the certificate file are combined into one. They might have other file names, but generally the .key extension and .crt extension will be the same. Upload what they give you and I can sort it out for you, just don't upload it to public_html.
  16. You can generate a new ssl certificate using a free service such as zerossl, let's encrypt, etc, and then upload the files to /home/daskunk/ and we can install the certificate for you. Please do not upload the certificate files to public_html because if you don't keep the private key private then ssl is pointless.
  17. You can have a maximum of 1 ssl certificate per virtualhost, and you have 2 total virtualhosts. In order to cover all domains you would have to include the alias domains as SANs. For instance the certificate I installed for you is for hiker.rocks and the SANs is www.hiker.rocks. Here are your two virtualhosts and the aliases for each ServerName hiker.heliohost.us = ServerAlias hiker.rocks mail.hiker.heliohost.us mail.hiker.rocks www.hiker.heliohost.us www.hiker.rocks ServerName helium.hiker.heliohost.us = ServerAlias www.helium.hiker.heliohost.us

  20. The zip file only had the ca_bundle.crt and certificate.crt. I need to have the private.key file as well.

  22. That's because I moved it for you.
  23. For anyone who searches and finds this, please do not upload your ssl certificate to public_html. If you don't keep your private.key file private then SSL doesn't work. If you upload it to /home/<username>/private.key then people won't be able to download it. I've said this a bunch of times and people keep uploading it to public_html. That's like standing on a busy street corner handing out keys to your house and telling everyone your address. There you go https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html#hostname=appstursoft.com
  24. You have root access to your VPS so you can enable remote access yourself if you want to. Try out a guide like this https://www.bigbinary.com/blog/configure-postgresql-to-allow-remote-connection If you can't figure it out let us know and we can do it for you, but I prefer for people to at least attempt to learn how to do things like this on their own because it's a great learning opportunity for you.
