It looks like the account creation script on Johnny is broken again. Someone with ssh access can start it again when they get a chance. There are 310+ accounts on johnny waiting to be created the oldest of which was registered on the 20th; four days ago. @mtlive Your account should be created very shortly after the script gets restarted. Thanks for pointing this out. This support request is being escalated to our root admin. (I know plenty of admins other than djbob can fix this, but in case he's the first to check. Feel free to deescalate it if you fix it first.)

When I got my iPhone I just grabbed it and was like, "Ooooh, it's only got two buttons. Hmmm" So I pressed the first one to see what it would do. "Oh, ok." Then I pressed the other to see what it would do. "Hmm, neat." Then a deviously maniacal grin spread across my face -- perhaps similar to Richard D. James -- and I asked myself, "What would happen if I pressed both at once?!" Anyways...

That's great news! I always cringe when things get deleted permanently. Nope, it's all 100% gone with no hope of recovery. Thanks from all of us. We do. One week before your account gets permanently deleted you get an email and your site changes to the suspension message. Perhaps your email provider sent the warning email to the junk box? Also some email providers have been known to delete heliohost emails without even putting them in the junk mail box. I have had good luck with my hotmail account but other users have reported this.

Splitting topics... I am also seeing the cannot find webpage when I try to view the webpage, but all the records look good, and the database looks good, and other stevie accounts I have checked seem to be loading fine. Is it just me and milktogo who can't see the site?

Your site is displaying a lot of question marks and a php error to me. The account is all set up properly and the server end of it all seems to be functioning properly. You just need to fix your code. As far as you not being able to see it yet, that could be DNS propagation. Since it hasn't even been 48 hours it could just be that your friend and myself have the update, but your DNS server doesn't know about it yet. It could also be your ISP caching, but that seems less likely. Try viewing your site through a free proxy, and that way you should be able to see it enough to begin fixing the code.

Your account has been manually unsuspended. If you still see the suspended page then you should try clearing your browsers cache. Let us know if you still can't log in to cPanel; if you can't we can reset your password for you. http://wiki.heliohost.org/wiki/Clear_your_cache -- Please spare a few minutes to take our brief survey: http://feedback.heliohost.org/ Your participation in this survey is greatly appreciated.

How would cPanel affect old php code that uses deprecated functions?

You're welcome. I've had my Hotmail account since like 1997 or something so I've learned to work around all of its design flaws. I don't think my gmail has ever gotten anything in the wrong folder.

[SOLVED] Connection problems / Internal server error
Krydos replied to Derpy Hooves's topic in Customer Service
It's probably just some minor bug with cPanel. I checked my account and all my databases show up as 0mb too, but they still container all their data and still work just fine. -
Instructions on how to move your account is available on the wiki: http://wiki.heliohost.org/wiki/Moving_your_account Once you get your account created on Johnny you will need to request java to be activated in this forum: http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showforum=74

I'd rather have this: Maru! <3

As of the time of this post your account 'pjvleeuw' is fully deleted. Feel free to create a new accont, but make sure you click Johnny this time. http://www.heliohost.org/home/signup/johnny Also signups are currently available on both servers which you can monitor with this tool http://heliohost.uni.cc/sign-up.php The reason it says 'several weeks' is because sometimes it does take that long. It all depends on how many accounts are in the deletion queue, etc.
-
It was not yet deleted. It takes about 39 days from the last logon for the account to be deleted. 30 until inactive, 7 more until it's added to the deletion queue and a couple more days to be deleted completely. I went ahead and manually deleted it so it should free up any domains or sub-domains that were associated with it. Also I noticed: Shouldn't your main domain be breakthesecurity.com and then you can add top. and forum. as sub domains? Whatever works for you though.

Your account is created and seems to be functioning perfectly, unfortunately it is located on stevie server. If you wanted your account on johnny you should probably consult http://wiki.heliohost.org/wiki/Moving_your_account

Hotmail blocks spam just fine. Just set it to exclusive filtering and anything that you haven't specifically marked as safe or is on your contacts list goes to junk folder. If the statement was more along the lines of Hotmail isn't as good at automatically blocking spam like Gmail and others, then yes, I agree with that.

Sorry I read the other half of your question as I was clicking submit.

Of course we do. Actally, you can use softaculous to install SMF for you, or you can upload your forum software through ftp and configure it manually. As long as you don't use too many system resources your account won't get suspended, but for a simple forum it would take a LOT of traffic to cause enough load to get suspended so you probably don't need to worry about it. Since SMF only uses php and mysql (or another database) Stevie would probably be the ideal server for it to be located on unless you anticipate needing ASP.NET or RoR or something like that in the future. Stevie is much more stable, but Johnny would also run your forum just fine too.

It is hard to tell without seeing the entire thing, but missing a closing } can cause a lot of problems. Syntax errors, rawr. >.<

The old johnny account had managed to slip through the cracks on the auto-deletion process and still existed even though it should have finished deleting weeks ago. I am currently in the process of manually deleting it. 10 minutes now and it's still trying to delete. This is why we have an automated process to take care of this. Ok, it is done deleting now. If you still can't add the addon domains after 24 hours let us know and we may need to take further action.
