  1. The account wdebsoc doesn't exist in the database, and I wasn't able to successfully search for the domain either. If you're confident that you have the account name correct it might be that your account was deleted due to inactivity. Did you remember to log in to cPanel at least once every 30 days? If there is another account name that it might be listed under I can check that too, but if your account was deleted I would recommend creating a new account.
  2. When I try opening that page it says "hello echo" so I'm guessing the suspension issue has fixed itself. If you still see the suspension page try clearing your browser cache http://wiki.heliohost.org/wiki/Clear_your_cache.
  3. I think this quote could apply to a lot of countries.
  4. Looks like whatever happened took place at about 7-3-11 at 5:15pm and it's been very smooth since then. *Crossing my fingers that it continues.*
  5. Your account has been manually unsuspended. If you still see the suspended page then you should try clearing your browsers cache. http://wiki.heliohost.org/wiki/Clear_your_cache
  6. Please don't post duplicate threads. Issue solved here http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?s=...ost&p=67065 Closing thread.
  7. Or was that a joke? I don't know if it was meant to be a joke or not, but I find it funny. I haven't actually read the terms of use or anything, but as far as I know all three of those packages are as free as free can get and people are encouraged to modify them and customize them up to their hearts content. The only way you could "null" them I guess would be to remove all the credits of the people who actually wrote the code in the first place and claim it all as your own custom work, but no one would ever be dumb enough to believe that unless you really changed them so fundamentally that they were no longer recognizable.
  8. Great service, by the way, thanks for keeping it going. I think if you're going to do a time other than GMT it would make the most sense to do PST since that is the time that Heliohost servers run on basically. The signups reset at midnight PST etc, and the servers are physically located in PST timezone too.
  9. The first thing I would do if I were you would be to get an editor that displays line numbers. I could give you a few recommendations, but I don't know what operating system you're using. Then once you have line numbers enabled take a look at the errors and go to those line numbers and see if you can figure out what is wrong. Remember sometimes the error can actually be above the line number that the error is displayed on; the error line is just where the compiler/executor/whatever realized that there was something critically wrong with what it was trying to run. Keep a backup original copy so you can go back and revert any changes you make and just dive in and start trying to fix things. If you make it worse revert to a working backup copy and start from there again. A lot of times if I don't know what I'm doing I will make backup copies of code all over the place like 7-2-11_before-I-changed-line288.rar, 7-2-11_right-after-changing-line288.rar, etc etc. Worst case scenario you make a lot of mistakes and learn how to code.
  10. The database showed it as active, the last login date was within 30 days. When trying to view the page it displayed the suspended page. Did I do something wrong?
  11. I have manually unsuspended your account and it appears to be loading properly now. If you still see the suspension page clear your browser cache. If you still can't log in to cpanel, and the automated cpanel password reset doesn't work for you let us know and we can manually reset your password and pm you a new one.
  12. This script http://www.heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/domain changes your main domain for you.
  13. It looks like you created this account today... have you waited 24 hours like the message suggests?
  14. His old account was username 'blacksta' on server stevie and it's still active and undeleted. His new account is username 'hacker' on server johnny and it's in the creation queue. blacksta is the account with the corrupted cpanel, and I believe he still needs a backup of his site and his database from that account. Obviously black star can decide what he wants to do from here, but fixing the blacksta account might enable him to create his own backups and minimize the amount of work that everyone has to do to get this issue resolved.
  15. Feel free to create a new account and then you can restore your backup of your site to the new account. As of the time of this post johnny sign ups are still available, but stevie signups have been maxed out for the day. You can check the status of sign ups by using this tool http://heliohost.uni.cc/sign-up.php Our servers contain no residual traces of your site at this time so I hope you made regular back ups of your site as recommended.
  16. Longer answer: Stats were disabled a while back to help reduce load on the servers and thereby give better uptime and faster page loads. http://wiki.heliohost.org/wiki/Site_statistics Explains that further and gives some suggestions on statistics programs to use. I've been using google analytics myself and it seems pretty decent.
  17. That's awesome! Sometimes I worry...
  18. I don't know anything about religion. I don't know if god exists or if he is the muslim god or the christian god or maybe even some crazy pagan god; if I meet him(or her or it) and still posses the capability to communicate with the rest of humanity I will do my best to let you all know exactly what he (or she or it) is all about. Anyways, my only real input to this thread is I just wanted to say that the Arabic language and it's derivatives are the most beautiful written language in the world. I've often wished I could speak/write/read it. Maybe that should be my next goal in life.
  19. I don't know how exactly the suspension is implemented, and I have only let my account go inactive once. I didn't even check my website to see if it displayed a suspended page I just saw the email and clicked the renew link immediately. Perhaps it should give a bit of notice before the suspended page shows up (if it doesn't already.) Even just a day or so would help people a lot. Perhaps the timeline should look like this: 30 days from last login -> email warning -> 24 hours from email warning -> suspension page replaces website -> 1 week -> account queued for deletion Or we could give them a warning email at 28 days or something and another when the suspension page shows up. (Ignore this entire post if it already gives a warning. I have no idea.)
  20. You might want to try some of the suggestions on http://wiki.heliohost.org/wiki/Solving_Int...l_Server_Errors I have found from personal experience that sometime when you are actively developing your website you can come up against the process limit because uploading files causes a couple processes to spawn, and then viewing your page causes a couple to spawn, and then maybe even checking your mail causes a couple more processes and before you know it you can no longer parse php because there are too many processes already running to load the one required to display a php page. If it is the process limit it those errors should go away after a bit of not uploading and messing with the site so much, ie: normal use, but if it becomes consistant and aways error you might have a process that is broken and isn't going away on it's own. In which case you should definitely let an admin know so they can fix it.
  21. I'm really wondering if maybe her internet connection is to blame for all of the above. I've had my uptime stats going on my website for ~10 months now, and it averages out to about 97% uptime. Sometimes it gets rough for a few days or something, but then things get straightened out and it starts working well again. Johnny has been a huge help to because so much load from stevie has been removed. I have no idea on her actual situation, but years ago before I was an adult I lived with my dad in a very old house and it reminds me of everything she has said. We only had dial up internet, and the phone lines were terrible quality. Each time it would rain water would get down inside the wires and cause them to short out and of course the internet would die. Then we'd call the phone company and they would come out and replace all the exterior lines and everything would work fine until some damn squirrel would decide to sharpen his teeth on our phone cables again a few months later. So, in conclusion: Don't blame the heliohost; blame the squirrels.
  22. Looks like something got fixed in the last 10 hours because it is all good now.
  23. You site seems to be loading correctly for me. It took a second because of high server load on johnny, but it loads for me now. If you still aren't seeing your site please remember to clear your browser cache.
  24. Yes it appears so. Once an account is deleted all the information is permanently gone. You are responsible for making regular backups, and regular log ins to prevent data loss. You're welcome to create a new account if you wish.
