  1. Yes, that is what that means. I just checked and there are no 500 errors showing up right now on your site, and there are zero processes running for your username. Usually when you hit the process cap you just need to wait a few minutes for it to fix itself, but sometimes processes get stuck running for days(weeks/months) and that is when an administrator needs to kill them for you. Based on that it looks like either huricane electric was having internal issues or the server that your account is on was having high load at the time that you ran that trace route. By the way, you named this thread 'stevie timeout' but your account is actually on johnny. Keep that in mind when looking at the server monitor etc.
  2. Glad your problem got solved! Please spare a few minutes to take our brief survey: http://feedback.heliohost.org/ Your participation in this survey is greatly appreciated.
  3. Split and moved. Have you tried all the methods of logging into cPanel listed in the wiki article? http://wiki.helionet.org/How_to_access_cPanel
  4. Have you tried all the suggestions for uploading files listed in this wiki? http://wiki.helionet.org/Uploading_files_to_your_site
  5. My bad, I should have checked johnny too. I had only seen reports of stevie not working so that is all I checked earlier.
  6. If I were you I would start testing portions of your network. For instance, if you're using a router try doing a continuous ping of the router and then watch the numbers to see if they correspond with the timeouts your seeing on your website. In windows the command might look something like: ping -t 192.168.1.1Obviously, your operating system and router might change things up a bit. The -t means to ping continuously and you can hit ctrl-c to stop it (or just close the command prompt box.) 192.168.1.1 can be replaced with whatever your router is. If your router doesn't seem to be causing any problems then move to the next step. tracert heliohost.orgWhat this command does is trace the route that packets from your computer take to reach heliohost. The first hop should be your router (if you're using one) followed by each hop that takes you towards heliohost. You can also replace heliohost.org with stevie.heliohost.org or johnny.heliohost.org depending on which server your account is on. This trace route only runs once though so if your problem is intermittent you can look at the list and start pinging each step as it moves away from your computer. If the latency ends up NOT being your router but within 3 or 4 hops after that you might need to call your ISP and demand they fix your internet connection. If the latency is towards the end of the route that means hurricane electric or our servers are having the issues. If the latency comes somewhere in the middle there isn't really anything anyone can do because those are the biggest and most major internet hubs, and if it's effecting you it's probably effecting hundreds of thousands of other people. When that happens everyone knows about it almost instantly. Let me know if you need any more clarification.
  7. I was able to successfully send an email from an email account on stevie, as well as receive an email to that stevie account. I also checked spamhaus and stevie's IP is no longer listed there. Please let us know if anyone is still having email issues on stevie.
  8. I ran into this 5 days ago and there is an escalated thread already for the issue http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=10544 the problem is on stevie the c compiler needs to be linked in the WHM. I don't have access to WHM so we are waiting for djbob to resolve this.

  10. It's probably related to http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?sh...c=10595&hl= seems a lot of people are having issues with email today.
  11. Your router/firewall/computer/something is probably blocking the ports you need to make FTP work. It's been a while so I might have something slightly wrong, but I think regular FTP connects on port 21 and does all the handshaking and then agrees to a port somewhere in the higher range to do the data transfers on. Based on your description it sounds like port 21 is getting through but the data transfers are being blocked. FTP works for everyone else just fine so it has to be something specific to you or your computer that is not working. If you can't get FTP to work why not try the File Explorer in cPanel or webdisk or some alternate transfer protocol. http://wiki.helionet.org/Uploading_files_to_your_site

  14. Maybe there is some firewall or something else preventing your logins. You could try some of the suggestions on this page http://wiki.helionet.org/How_to_access_cPanel and see if any of the alternate cPanel logins work for you.
  15. Your password has been reset and a new password has been emailed to the email account that you used to create the cPanel account.

  17. I checked your processes within minutes of you posting this message and you still had zero processes running, so I suspect you don't have filezilla set up correctly. Log into cPanellocate "Files" headerclick "FTP Accounts"locate "Special FTP Accounts" headerlocate "teo01234" ftp account within this headerclick "Configure FTP Client" link on this accountverify manual settings ORuse filezilla auto configuration file settings I recommend using SFTP because it's more secure. Let us know if this helps.

  21. As of right now you have exactly zero processes running. If you were to connect with filezilla and start downloading right now it should work perfectly. However, if you were to open cPanel file manager, a cron, check your mail, load a couple pages on your site and then try to download you would probably hit your process limit and have issues with one or all of above. Also make sure stevie's load is low for best performance.
  22. Log into cPanel, find the header Files, locate and click the Backup button, create a full backup or partial backup of the portions of the site you need, download the created file.
  23. This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
