Actually, it's amazing what a paid host will let you get away with. There's something about someone giving you money that makes you hesitate to upset them. It's the greed of capitalism working in your benefit for once. Of course regardless of which host you use it doesn't hurt to upload your files as a false positive. I know I wouldn't install something on my computer if virus scanners said it was bad, and I'm sure a lot of other people wouldn't either. The only reason to not upload your files as false positives is if they are actually viruses, and you know it.

...and another 300 in the last ~100 minutes...

In the last 12 hours your account has attempted to send another 1400+ emails. If this continues you will surely end up suspended again.

Port 2082 is cPanel. If you want to connect to MySQL you need to use the MySQL port which is 3306.

Your account was resuspended for failure to take care of the malware problem during your allotted 24 hour period. The offending files have been deleted, and your account has been manually unsuspended. If you still see the suspended page then you should try clearing your browsers cache. There is nothing wrong with our virus scanner. Heliohost is not in the business of developing antivirus protection. We are in the webhosting business, and we use a well respected antivirus software to make sure that our users aren't hosting malware and viruses. Another user had a similar issue as you where he compiled an executable that was detected as a virus. Instead of ignoring the warning and insulting us for things that are hardly our fault he actually read the unsuspension message and used the link provided for reporting false positives. If you don't want to go look at your other thread again I'll even post the link for you again here http://cgi.clamav.net/sendvirus.cgi The other user I'm referring to uploaded his false positive file and a few days later it was no longer showing up as being a virus. If your file isn't a virus as you claim feel free to upload it using the link provided. If they determine it is indeed harmless the virus definitions will be updated and it will no longer trigger your account to be suspended.

[Solved] Delete: Alexp Account Please
Krydos replied to DAKSH101's topic in Suspended and Queued Accounts
That username and/or domain is not located on our system. Most likely it was already deleted. Feel free to create a new account. -
Does this link help? http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4140196/monodevelop-and-ajaxcontroltoolkit-register-server-tag-in-mono

Well, it's hard to tell you any specifics since you didn't post your username, domain, or server, but in general you need to enable remote connections to MySQL through cPanel. You can either put a % to allow connections from all IPs, or for more security you can specify just one IP address that will be allowed to connect. Then from your external program it needs to connect to the host stevie.heliohost.org or johnny.heliohost.org depending on which server your account is located. Port will be 3306 for either. Username will be either your cPanel username, or for more security I would recommend creating a user with only the access you will need on the database and it would be in the form jack_external if your cPanel username was jack, for instance. Then the database that you connect to will be similarly prefixed with jack_databasename. Obviously the password will be whatever you created when you created the database user. Depending on the language that you use the syntax can vary a bit. Just let us know if you're having problems, and we can help more.

Your account is showing up as clean now. Thank you for taking care of this.

Actually, a couple months ago AOL launched some weird campaign to get all emails from Heliohost blocked or something. The weirdest part of it all was the emails that they were claiming were spam were our account creation emails. The ones that are like "Thank you for signing up Shinryuu your account has now been created and you can log in..." I suppose maybe someone was creating accounts using random @aol.com email addresses, but what are we supposed to do about that? Yeah I was surprised when I heard they still existed too, but I definitely wouldn't be surprised if they are blocking emails from Heliohost.

I definitely didn't try AOL.

I just tested it on my Stevie account and it worked fine for me. Is this problem still occurring for you?

Java was enabled on your account on December 31st then your account was suspended for inactivity on January 4th and Java was removed to make room for active users. Feel free to request Java again, but remember that Java can only be enabled on active accounts. To keep your account active you need to log into http://heliohost.org/ at least once every 30 days.

Nope, & is the default value on both servers and I think we're going to leave it that way. I don't know for sure because I haven't tried it, but it looks like a lot of stuff would be broken if we were to make that change. I would recommend simply changing your source code to use & instead of &

If you have the domain already added as a parked or an addon domain when you try to use the main domain change tool it will fail because the domain is already set up. The solution is to first delete the domain you are trying to change to your main domain, and once all traces of it are gone from your cPanel then use the main domain change tool again. Let us know if you're still having trouble getting it to change.

Krydos replied to zodiaco's topic in Customer Service
Oh, it was fixed, but it broke itself again between when I posted and when you tried it again. Is it working now?
