For the certificate, you likely just need to install a new one. For the php script returning a blank page my best guess would be that Johnny's default php is 7.2 now, but it was 5.6 before. Is your script compatible with 7.2? Have you tried changing the php version back to 5.6?

I just sent a account creation email to my hotmail.com address and it arrived in the inbox within seconds. I wasn't able to test gmx because they shut down my account for inactivity (presumably) and when I tried to create a new account they instantly suspended it for suspicious behaviour. Gmx is so worthless.
