You can get a 404 error if your OS or your ISP has your old account IP cached. You can flush your DNS cache by typing ipconfig /flushdns if you're using windows. There is no way to clear your ISP cache if that's the problem so you'll need to view your site through a proxy or just wait for the cache to time out.
