  1. Are you okay with using a self-generated certificate?
  2. I'm working on this issue right now. I'll get back to you guys as soon as I can.
  3. Yes, the MySQL host is blocking your connection. You need to talk to them and have them remove their firewall or add an exception.
  4. Maybe your ISP has blocked HelioHost. Have you tried accessing your website from a proxy when it's down from your end?
  5. We also have it configured with SQLite. Anyways, I went ahead and installed the PDO_PGSQL extension. Go ahead and see if it's working.
  6. Automated backups are a significant drain on the system. If it can automated, everyone will just enable it. I'd prefer if you guys could try and remember to do it yourself.
  7. Why not try a free "co.cc" domain? They're a bit more professional. The link to signup with them is available on the HelioHost website. Once you have one, you can park it from your cPanel.
  8. Looks like you were suspended for either overusing crons or for overusing system resources. Do you remember any crons or resource-intensive scripts you were running?
  9. No - consult Google Apps for help setting it up on a cPanel platform. They should have a help page, considering that the plurality of hosting services utilize cPanel.
  10. Create a new FTP login if you'd like. Making things easier for you is not my job. The sign-up clearly stated you only had one chance to create your account.
  11. Then you need to consult the person hosting your MySQL server to add HelioHost to their access list.

    web page access

You should upload to "public_html" instead of "web root".
  13. Why do you need this to be done? It really isn't necessary, considering that your cPanel login isn't public.
  14. Are you are trying to connect to HelioHost from another server, or another server from HelioHost?

    PostgreSQL Help

Have you created the database you're connecting to?
  16. Unfortunately, ASP.NET is currently disabled because of the load it causes on our server. We hope to reenable it in the coming months.

    Ftp error

That's a large amount of files. Try uploading in batches - the FTP server will time out if you try to upload like thirty files at the same time.
  18. No. Try restarting your RoR application. If that doesn't work, check for .htaccess files.
  19. Looks like you'll have to sign up for a new account.
  20. Try "stevie.heliohost.org:3306" for the hostname.
  21. Ah - Google is actually having you set the same MX record, but just under multiple servers with different priorities for failover. Go ahead and just set the first record, and you should be fine.
  22. Sorry, but we don't provide backups For future use though, your cPanel has backup features that you can use within it.
  23. It's completely impossible to have more than one MX record for a domain. That's not how they work.
  24. We don't delete accounts. You shouldn't have registered two accounts; only one is allowed per user.
