  1. This sounds almost like the stuck mail queue issue I had on another host. If it failed to send immediately, PHP's mail would pile up in a temp queue that wasn't normally processed by the mail server and sit there for months. When a maintenance script ran a few times a year, it would attempt to clean out backlogged mail queues. It'd find the mail in the temp queue and send it, causing old mail to randomly start arriving months late. I'm not sure if HH does something similar, but it wouldn't surprise me if a similar script runs after a crash on Stevie and causes it.
  2. Also seeing this. Good news is that other stuff seems to be working. HTTP and FTP are up, and I can get to PhpMyAdmin if I use a direct URL.
  3. There's no reason you can't. If he changed the extension to .php, it should work fine assuming photos exist and there's no coding mistakes.
  4. It is. The issue went away an hour or so after I made the initial post. I forgot to mention it the other day. EDIT: Just checked the status script again. It looks like its finally moving...I'm now number 60 in line instead of 87
  5. Any idea how long it'll take to clear up? I just checked it and it's still showing as number 87, of course with an inaccurate time saying it'll be created later tonight.
  6. I recently created a new account here at Heliohost after having had one a while back (it expired from inactivity). I registered my new account at 3:01am EDT on Sunday, and was wondering how long it takes for the account to actually be created. The "status" link provided in the email I received shows supposed creation and activation times: ...but the times just keep getting pushed back as they approach. Yesterday, it said it'd be created at 3:52PM, and active by Monday at 3AM. I checked today, and the account was still not there. Now it says the what's shown in the above quote. Is this script just inaccurate and I need to wait longer? The domain should be: rax.heliohost.org. UN is: rax It should be on Stevie. Even though it doesn't seem to pertain to this issue, I did empty the browser cache. Also of importance: I visited the heliohost.org homepage earlier to look at something, and I keep getting this message when I visit any page aside from the homepage, wiki, or forums. This includes the scripts (I had to use my email's link to get the quoted queue status above): Thanks in advance, wolstech
  7. OK, guess I'll wait it out. Thanks for the fast reply!
  8. I registered for an account on Oct 22. I understand that there are server issues with registrations, but haven't seen posts quite like my issue. Most seem to be that people's domains are dead and they can't log in. After waiting several days, my sub-domain became active on the 27th. Since then, I have been able to see a directory listing of the root. However, even though the actual site appears functional, I still can't access cPanel to set it up. Is the account not fully set up yet or is there something wrong with it? I would have thought the cPanel account would activate at the same time the site did. Here's my details: Username: wolstech Domain: wolstech.heliohost.org (still showing a directory listing of the root as of 11/2.) Any help would be greatly appreciated!
